Stumbled onto your video after buying the Pyle mic set. Got it for $60 cad on Amazon. Hasn't arrived yet but from your video it seems like a decent deal.
Behringer Ultravoice XM8500 its my favorite one also. If you preferred MIcs with switch, Behringer also makes the Ultravoice XM1800s (the S its for Switch) and they come with switch and you can find them in a set of three with a very resistant transport case, You cant go wrong with these also. Respect to the lack of Switch in the 8500, this is the way they are intended, because they are supposed to be for more professional use, where the sound technician or dj are always in control of the volumen, so you avoid people turning on and off the mic . The xm8500 its the competitor of shure sm58, keeping the distances obviously. There are some reviews comparing them, and some people even preferred the 8500s instead of Sm58, Because they find them fuller , with more gain and brightier also. Nice review mate!!

Thanks for the tip on the 3 pack. I think I've seen it on Amazon, might have to take another look. I was pretty impressed with the case with this one as well. And the overall feel of the mic. Small, yet solid and heavy.
@@DJHuckmonkey yeah they are great sounding , i own two cases of 1800. 6 mics in total and two 8500s, i have used them in vocals , karaoke, hip hop singers, conferences and they always do a good job. But if you are really into microphones, Im going to tell you my little secret mate, one cheap microphone that can beat sm58 almost in every aspect is: Samson Q7 supercardioid microphone.
@@VJCarlosAcosta I'll check that on out too. Looks like it's not avaliable on Amazon here at the moment. 3 pack of R21 is avaliable though. Have you tried those ones?
@@DJHuckmonkey Too bad they are not available , maybe it's because Behringer is renewing this budget microphone series , one of them is the Ba 85 which is an alternative to Shure Beta and they also released a new knock off of Shure SM 57 and 58, you can distinguish these new series of Behringer because the body now is silver color not black as they used to be. You could take a look a these also, the sm 57 knock off looks very promising. Respect to Samson I have tried Samson Q7, it's a beast, nice sounding, clear , sturdy and a little on the heavy side also. And I also own Two Samson CO5 which is an hybrid Mic, it's a Dynamic condenser microphone, really crystal clear sound , it works well with voices and s guitar also. I can't tell about R21 but according to the reviews, Behringer mics are better choice at this price range. Samson C05 works nicely in podcasting but you need a mixer with phantom power.
