Not only is this a beautiful song from a genuinely beautiful person, and very talented, singer songwriter, but the fact that there have tears in their eyes instead of kneeling, because they know they’re very blessed to be in America. Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. A lot of people forget about the part that says pursuit. You have to seek it out it’s not just handed to you. we are all blessed to be born in a country where we have our God-given rights protected by the constitution from some men a log time ago, who somehow managed to foresee all of the issues that would turn us into every other communist dictatorship kind of country made it a point to point out with people and put in provisions that would guarantee are God-given, rights. And we should not forget about the past and our ugly mistakes but we should learn from them and not just repeat them like we’re doing now except in a really weird way anybody who works hard doesn’t give up can have the American dream? There’s only about 500 or so players a year in the NFL. they are blessed to be in the Super Bowl, but they are blessed to be Playing a game they love and it does have some health concerns in the long run but they’re also compensated sometimes way too much in my opinion but that’s a whole Nother rant Lol too many people are making a mockery out of this, but these guys appreciate it not like Mr. Kaepernick, who was all pissy because he got sidelined for third string quarterback, because now he was not a Tom Brady. He was that great. He had some good years, but he was benched because he had more interceptions in completion and it doesn’t matter what color you are, coach is it going to continue starting and paying you millions to throw the ball to the other team lol and I know he had a girlfriend who was a really big SJW and that was a big influence but then to call that organization that paid you so well like a slave auction at the same time you’re working really hard to try to get back in it’s kind of ridiculous but anyway, this was beautiful. I would not start with an Chris Stapleton fly away for your first video unless you just really want to be all up in your feels but Tennessee whiskey or broken halo or both great
We have seen him live twice at The Wharf in Orange Beach Alabama. He put on a hell of a show. He did a version of Prince’s Purple Rain that blew the audience away. Incredible

This gives me chills every single time I listen to it... I love this country... One of my best friends recently died in combat during the extraction of troops from Kabul... his plane was shot down and the last thing he ever said to me was he couldn't wait to play Minecraft again when he got home... we used to grind that shit day and night for hours on end... I am the only person in my family who did not enlist or serve, my father was in the navy and drove submarines scouting out other countries for intel, my great grandfather was in WW2 running cable wire across enemy lines, my grandfather fought in Vietnam, my brother was in 4-5 different countries last year while in the Army with top clearance guarding top secret buildings (I do not know what the buildings are he is not allowed to say so he never told me)... I am just so thankful to be alive in a country I can call my home. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU WHO SERVED IS A GODDAMN HERO PLEASE REMEMBER THAT... no matter what the media says you will still always be praised as a HERO like you deserve. God bless America...

He also does a cover of "War" and "Aint No Sunshine" that are both amazing and his originals like "Burn The Witch", "Midnight Dove", Through The Valley" are phenomenal./

Superbowl went just right for me, big KC fan while being a secondary eagles fan. It was a rough game but whew loved it loved halftime lived pregame it was just a great Superbowl Sunday❤️💛

Chris was telling the story of our Country. It was simply amazing. It made me tear up.
Chris Stapleton is my ultimate favorite vocals of all time. I highly recommend if you go down the Chris Stapleton rabbit hole (which is a glorious one) to do his live singing... There is only a hand few artist that I believe is better live than in the studio. He is definitely one! Also, he often changes his runs up so each performance is little different each time hear him sing it.

Great reaction! If you've not done another Chris reaction yet, man there are some seriously good ones to recommend. I'll start with a couple, but you can easily fall down that rabbit hole for a while. Especially since he was also in two other bands before going solo, and they're fun to react to as well. For Chris's solo: I Was Wrong Live at Austin City Limits. Also, that Tennessee Whiskey version is best, imo. Sometimes I Cry live at the Bing Lounge is another must. His 2022 CMA performance of Cold is pretty amazing. And What Are You Listening To Live at XTU. His duos are pretty great, as well. Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton Say Something official video is fabulous, and so is the 2021 CMT HER and Chris Stapleton performance of Hold On. His wife Morgane is his backup vocals, and her voice is stunning. She does a rendition of You Are My Sunshine with Chris as backup and guitar. There are soooo many more. Just give one or two a try, I promise you will never be disappointed. Sorry, two more. 🤣His acoustic Barely Alive, solo. It seems sketch at first, cuz it's some dude's cell phone video and the audio isn't great at first. But once he starts singing? OMG, so great. And his Whiskey and You from 2016 Live at C2C London. I saw Chris in north Dakota a few months ago and had never listened before, I couldn't believe how incredible he is. And ill never forget how he would instantly stop the show (3 times) whenever he saw someone who needed medical attention in the crowd. An amazing person who cares so much.
