There sure are. Some attack the Capitol, shit in its halls whilst waving the enemy flag, and kill those protecting the true flag...but, I doubt you are referring to them, eh? Probably just those who demand equality, eh?
I'm a Navy vet. I cry everytime I watch this video. But then, the flyby with the ALL WOMAN FLYOVER--so much pride for them. He brought a new respect for the song and shows the world the pride we have. Yes, he was signing. LOVE YOUR REACTION. I watched your original reaction--I can't see where the grief comes from. Keep on reacting!!!
We absolutely absolutely love our flag and our national anthem. I’ve heard it 1 million times and it still gets you right in the heart and it brings tears to my eyes, especially when Chris sings it.
When the Anthem is played, the only noise that you should hear, is people singing along softly in the background. I know that you have learned the "meaning" of the words, and why it brings Americans together.
2 best ever of all times.. the USA national anthem.. Whitney and Chris... hands down. I remember Whitney giving me chills.Never thought anyone would come close.. Chris did.
When Pearl Harbor was attacked, a U.S. Navy band aboard the USS Nevada had just started playing the national anthem. Being aboard one of the prime targets by the Japanese, you would think that most people would run for cover but the band played on. They did play a little faster. Even while gunfire and explosions happened around them, they played on. It's one of those things especially in the military that you don't stop the national anthem once it is started and you stop everything you are doing to show respect. The national anthem is tied very much with the American flag. While the flag is just a piece of cloth and the anthem is just a song, it's what it stands for that is so meaningful. Representing both the sacrifices of the past and the hopes of our future as a nation.
@@spacehonky6315 You don't have to take my word, you can easily google this and find multiple sources showing this happened. The attacked happened right when "Morning Colors" started aka the raising of the flag. Part of the daily flag raising ceremony includes playing the national anthem. There was bravery but also they were following U.S. Navy regulations that "The National Anthem of the United States, "The Star Spangled Banner," when played by a naval band, shall be played in its entirety as written and as prescribed in the official U.S. Navy Band arrangement, which is designated the official Department of Defense arrangement."
The anthem also ends with a question. Originally it was probably just meant to ask if the flag was still waving after the battle but I often think it’s a call for Americans to ask ourselves if this is still the land of the free and the home of the brave. It reminds us of our incredible history and challenges us to do our part in preserving that legacy so we can pass it down to future generations intact. Best national anthem ever! God bless the USA! 🇺🇸❤❤❤
I will second 2 that. 😊 we will fight amongst ourselves but when someone else does we Americans tend to finish it. That’s just our motto. Y’all are very welcome to come here. From Deep South Louisiana, USA 🇺🇸. ❤

If you haven't already watched and reacted, please do the video of "The Star Banner As You've Never Heard It " It explains in great detail just WHY Americans are so proud of our flag and anthem! As a kid the flyover was just so insane. The entire stands would start shaking and you could feel it like nothing else. Nobody was sitting down but everyone felt it so insane. It felt like power to be honest. You could feel it way before it got there. And when it flew over top it was so loud and powerful the entire place would shake. Sometimes they flew to low and it was even more fun. I remember all the flyovers more than the events honestly.
The ONLY reason I turned on the game that day was to hear Chris sing the anthem. He did not disappoint this female veteran. 🤙 The All Women Flyover was a bonus surprise!
There are a lot of wonderful places in the world. I feel very blessed to live in the U.S. I think there was nothing wrong that you interrupted the anthem because you were analyzing your reaction to it. The fact that you listen to it, is a sign of respect in itself. I do agree with you the culture of some countries is less open to new arrivals then others.
You are correct, The man was doing ASL (American Sign Language). I studied ASL as I was a teacher for SPED (Special Education), then when I taught the regular classes, The students LOVED learning sign language. They wanted to know how to spell their names and how to say "Hi. How are you? and then their favorite songs - It's a good skill to have, never looks bad on a resume to be fluent in ASL (or any countries sign language). It isn't nearly as hard as it looks and can actually be fun.
Thank you for your loving respect for our country. There is another song you might want to hear, if you haven't heard it yet. It's from Lee Greenwood called 'Proud to be an American'. I cry everytime I hear it. Ther is another one he did in a music studio with military personel, the harmony is amazing. You can feel the passion we have for our country. Thank you so very much. You're all wonderful.

Amazing reaction! As an American, we do take great pride in our nation. Like ANY nation, there are good and bad people/places& things, but there are SO MANY MORE that are amazing! And no matter our differences in times of peace, we will ALL come together in times of war or uncertainty. Thank you so much for your reaction! Chris is AMAZING! I moved to the USA when I was 51 and my son 19. My husband had died 9 years before and my older son one year before. If you have a job, you probably will have health insurance, so that’s the key. You are still young. Go for it!
What a fantastic family! A friend just showed me your reaction to the 10 most beautiful states in America (I live on #6, Washington) and I’ve been binge-watching your videos for 5 hours now. It’s always nice to see how others see America. I’ve traveled to London, Berlin, Israel, Egypt and other places around the world. South Africa and Slovakia have always been on my list. One day, maybe. I think I may have gotten my family hooked on your channel as well. That said, keep up the great work!
You're not American so it's okay BUT, also hats off during the Anthem ALWAYS!!! If you noticed Chris didn't have his cowboy hat on ❤ but GREAT REACTION!

As an Army and Navy veteran, I am very picky about the National Anthem and true, pausing, talking, kneeling, etc., during the anthem is disrespectful. However, I see no issue with pausing during the anthem when doing a reaction video as RUclips tends to remove videos otherwise. That being said, I will never understand why people consider this the best version. Yes, it is good, but not that good. Number one, IMO, is, and always will be, Whitney Houston, followed by Pentatonix. Thanks for another great reaction! 😀💕😀
You should move to America, it seems like you're very patriotic with our country. You would be very welcome. We have a lot of Americans that don't even like our country. We need more people like you.
Our National Anthem brings all Americans and armed forces together as one. And each arm of the military has its own “anthem.” Please consider viewing “National Memorial Day 2024 The Armed Forces Medley” performed by the National Symphony Orchestra. It’s short.
Check out a band called The Steeldrivers. They are a blugrass band that used to be fronted by Chris Stapleton. They have many great songs. I would suggest "Long Way Down" for a starter.
I just watched a reaction from people from Sweden and they said it perfectly. Basically he said that if an American moved to Sweden, they would always stay an American who lives in Sweden. But, if a person from Sweden moved to America, they would be accepted as American. And it's true. We have people from everywhere here. And believe me when I say many of our newer residents build, appreciate, and will scream their newly found patriotism from the rough tops. Because we will take you in, you will be free to do whatever as long as you're not a criminal, and you will 100% have the chance to be successful for your family and build the generational wealth that will change your future generations. And yet all we hear is the hate. And especially France....REALLY? Do you know your own history? The nerve 😂
It was good. Very good. But Whitney's version is incomparable. Her voice and the situation at the time can not be replicated. It still brings tears to my eyes. Our Anthem is very hard to sing well. The lyrics were a poem written at the Battle of Fort McHenry during our War of 1812 against the British and the tune was actually a British drinking tune. The two fit together perfectly and were meant for each other. I would love to see you guys react to Whitney's version. There are versions out there where the TV shot is totally masked, but seeing her is not the point. Hearing her is where it is at. The only time I've ever watched the performance in full without RUclips's stupid restrictions was during the live Super Bowl broadcast of the Super Bowl. Every other time I close my eyes and just sing along while the tears stream down my cheeks. Find a way, Jonah. You and your family will be better for it.
@GrahamFamilyReacts great reaction just sub’d! PLEASE react to “Star Spangled Banner As You’ve Never Heard It Before”. After reacting to it, you all will understand why we, Americans, respect & love our flag so much. Thanks! Oh, by the way, Whitney Houston pre-recorded in a studio the Anthem and was lip syncing at the Super Bowl. Chris’s was LIVE. CHRIS sang the best National Anthem I’ve EVER HEARD!!! Thanks again friends!
Definitely not disrespectful to pause. Its your choice and anyone who gets offended by a pause its putting their own personal problems on it. Its a video and the fact that someone from another country is even interested in hearing the US anthem is beyond amazing. My fellow americans need to calm down imo. PS time to show them whitney houstons!
Watch the “ National Anthem As You’ve Never Heard Before “. It give more to why the American people have such respect for the flag many people have no idea why it holds so much importance to us. The best part is that it really doesn’t to this day have no side to politics, It is our as Americans regardless of our political views. ❤❤❤❤❤😊
You also have to take your hat off and put it over your heart whilst the anthem is going…..hahaha😅. You should watch anthem during Chicago blackhawks game (hockey) …we fans just scream through the whole anthem. It started after a tragedy and we really wanted the world to hear us.
Thank you so much for giving America the respect of the National Anthem. Love it!
Thank you for the respect you showed this country. Cheers

NEVER disrespect the flag, NEVER let it hit the ground.
I'm old fashioned. I expect the anthem to be sung as a march.
Yeah Americans see it very disrespectful to pause or talk during our anthem. It's a respect thing for those who died for our country.
I am American I don’t think it’s rude to pause it not like it’s live and being rude
@@frankluna8069 you weren't raised right

They fought and died for our rights. And one of those rights is to pause a video whenever you want to.
Where is your family from? Are you living here in the US now? Thank you for your appreciation of our country.
