Never Stop Chasing
I will most certainly be following your travels via this channel. Well done sir.
Thank you! Never stop chasing.
It's so refreshing to see a meteorologist of our caliber covering a west coast storm. I'm in Vegas, so I'm not on the coast, but I appreciate your interest and concern! Kuddos, Dr. Reed
I have two excellent friends both have multiple phds. And they don't say they're high-caliber anyting. They are normal people that have studied hard. And apparently you think you're better than everybody else. Mr PhD. You need to get over yourself already
I have seen many of your videos and this is an Instant Classic!!
Thank you Hank! Never stop chasing
Montana isn't for you! 😂
I absolutely love Montana@@aynosanyroh4092! :D
Wow! Reed, you prove over and over again that you are exemplary. You truly set the standard for others in your field, and I really appreciate your dedication.
REED!!! I can’t believe you’re in my state covering extreme weather!!! So exciting this weather… I usually watch Ryan’s channel out of desperation for weather… But here you are! 🤩
Stay safe… from Ventura. ☃️
Same here😂 I'm a weather nerd in SoCal living vicariously through YT storm chasers.
@@Lisa_Mojica Nice to meet you!!! 😂 I imagine you are bursting with excitement just like me!
Now THIS weather report is absolutely amazing!! Reed, you’re beyond brave. Thanks for the live views of the major weather events, wherever they may crop up.
Thank you very much!
I spent over 30 years of my life in Southern California, visiting many of the locations and terrain types seen in this video. Only after leaving that area in '98 did I learn of Reed Timmer, and instantly fell in love with what he does. It's almost surreal to see him touring my old stompin' grounds, and the conditions he's encountering there. Never thought I'd ever see that! Great stuff, Reed!
My brother loved to surf Dana Point, it's an awesome spot.
Reed Timmer isn't just an extreme meteorologist, he's also an incredibly talented cinematographer!! The weather he captures is second to none!! You'll find yourself learning by osmosis, you're soaking in knowledge from Reed without even realizing it!!!
He's the 'extreme' 😁🤣🤣
Never thought I would see Reed in my neck of the woods.
It’s beautiful here!
Reed your a one man weather channel keep these killer videos coming love the show
Take care and stay safe! I just moved from Long Beach, Cali to South Bend Indiana, my friends are calling me in a panic! Hell, they have earthquakes galore there what’s a little snow! Some are happy! What’s ironic is I love the snow and we’ve had a very light winter this year! Bummer!
You'll get snow and ice with time. Just get yourself prepared - carrying the right stuff in your car in the winter, and prepare your house for an ice storm and power outages for days or a week. It will happen - so be ready. I lived in San Diego 15 years, Wisconsin, Rochester, NY and Florida. I've seen it all - floods, earthquakes, blizzards (with snow covering our windows and up to our gutters), hurricanes.
@@sassylady2001 i hope to get more here. I was in the blizzard of 77 in New England, never a tornado & only a small hurricane.
We just moved to Wisconsin from SoCal where I was born and raised. I love the cold and snow and always missed having that in SoCal.
Funny that CA is now getting some actual weather AFTER I moved! lol
@@catbee1452 lol that’s how I feel!
Be safe Reed!
Watching you walk up that last trek had me sitting on the edge of my seat!
Stay safe out there.
I’m used to watching you chase tornadoes but I love how you are an equal opportunity chaser! Thank you for coming out to the west and chase in this crazy snowstorm. I am just north of you in Central Oregon. It’s been a wild week, but glad you’re here.
Also, I love that all of the people who follow you, are also lovers of extreme weather.
Thank you for covering our beautiful High Country Reed!
I always think of how wild you are to do what you do but I know that you keep your crew and yourself safe! Excellent reporting!
Brovo Reed that blue ski mask you're wearing rocks! Great broadcast be safe. 💗👍
This is fantastic
That is crazy… I have lived throughout California to my military service, I never seen such conditions
Stay safe! I'm in Nor Cal and we had a large snow overnight that shut down our little Lake County. We had many cars abandoned & trapped on roads and no way to get to them which is very rare here. Still don't have power, and going to freeze down to 20 tonight. Ice skating on the roads tomorrow. I don't know how you stand the 🥶. Take care. Thx for the video!👏💙
Of course you hiked to the Ridge on a closed road. 😂 Wow! This is crazy for Southern Cali. Stay safe.
Awesome! Never stop chasing, Reed!
Wow reed 😯
Awesome Reed!! Thank you for always bringing us "to and in" the storm. You are very appreciated big guy!!!!!
Resd, you came to visit us in Cali, nice
Be safe!!!!
Reed, Inspiration Point is at around 7,000 feet and gets snow every year. Mountain High Ski Resort is not far. It's not unusual but the wind is strong today too. That also happens often.
Wow, that was incredible. Only for you, Reed Timmer, LA's blizzard only for you because you were there. Love ya and stay safe.
Not gonna lie, I was concerned you were gonna get blown down the ravine. Glad you are safe though. And thanks for showing the drive up to Wrightwood, looks beautiful
Another killer Chase and video! Never Stop Chasing!
snowing in Reno for a couple of days! yay!!
Thanks for coming and covering us Reed
❤Thanks for sharing. Definitely worth watching.
God direct you and keep you safe as you do these many severe weather travels. 🌬🌀🌩🌪 And thank you for checking on others that may be stranded and in need of help.
Unbelievable sounds! I got cold just watching that one.
Thanks, Dr. Timmer, for this tour in No Man's Land💥🌬❄
That was amazing Reed that you went up in that snow to show how bad it is God bless all you do to bring all of us the weather reports going live be safe Reed
Wow!!!!
THIS is why I believe 'Day after Tomorrow' could happen-Mother Nature is Amazingly stunning!
So exciting to see snow
Great video Reed! But an FYI, Wrightwood is in San Bernardino County, not Los Angeles
First off, love the music in this video! Thanks for documenting this extreme weather we are having in Cali. Up in the Bay Area, we are having hail storms, snow at low levels, and high winds, it's intense.
Reed Timmer in SoCal! Now I've seen everything.
Man you do it right, getting out there IN the weather, that's awesome! I've been watching you for years, really great work as always! And I can't even believe that weather is going on in Southern California, that's crazy!
Reed is a weather super hero

Wow Reed! You really go the extra mile to chase the sever weather!! I can't imagine going up to the highest pass there in a blizzard and then a freakin' whiteout!!

Simply Amazing Reed!!
This style of short bursts of relevant and interesting, quality info is very nice
WOW!!!
Man, I miss being able to day drive up to Big Bear and Mtn High from San Diego. What a country.
I heard Big Bear was supposed to get a huge winter storm.
@@charmaccents6278 he said 5 foot of snow through tonight
I wish I was there to ride it.
Awesome job Reed!!!!! Bravo 👏 the details and footage was amazing.

meanwhile here in Miami we are dealing with near record heat for February....88 for a high today and at 7:45pm it's 77 !!!!
Kentucky had crazy weather to. Thursday morning early ( 5AM) we were two degrees above Fort Myers temp. SE Kentucky record high was 73 degrees for February 23 rd ( early)
70 degrees in Delaware yesterday! Only a dusting of snow so far this year.
Thank You Reed ! ! ! I am a new subscriber . . .
This is CLassic Weather !
Great weather
@2:23 TO THE MOUNTATINS!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks Reed for being so nuts ! one of your best videos to date.
when all of that snow melts, people in the valley will appreciate the green. IMO, that green wil help stabilize the ground surface some, maybe helping to better control the waterways created by the melting snow! Valleys, Be prepared for some major water flow when that snow melts!!!!!!
Reed, Can you be there to bring some sense as to how the snow melt will effect the valleys below? That water will have to go somewhere in a month or so! I watched you track the Arizona floods, and that was wild to see! My husband is from Arizona, and we live back East now. Thanks for bringing us weather wherever the weather is! 👍
I'm in PA. I've seen a lot of wild snow storms but this winter we are way behind on snow. I hope we get 20 or 30 inches during the rest of the winter.
For real we haven't gotten any its been like 64 degrees one day and then 20 the next
I’ve live in SoCal for my entire life, going on 50 and never seen a winter like this. Just this morning (4-2-23) I went out to my backyard where I can see the westside of Cedar Springs (Blue Ridge) and the snow up there is still thick and the whole mountain is covered with snow. Usually by this time it’s dry up there. Sucks for Waterman ski area, all that snow and roads are closed.
Going to be interesting to see how long the snow stays there with our now close to normal temperatures.
Awesome Reed!!
I'm so glad you didn't get blown over when you were on top. Oh man.. nice view of blizzard. Wow. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great job reed!!!!!
Fascinating...
great video reed more please . but always stay safe mate , from mick in the uk.
Great video...stay warm and safe, watching in Mississippi
I'm chuckling since we recently moved to Wisconsin from SoCal where I was born and raised.
I leave my home state and then it finally gets some real weather! lol
Amazing
Nice reed!
Big fan here!
With the tremendous winds and ice I was concerned that it would be easy for your to be swept off the top down the ravine. You are braver than I am - I lived near Buffalo for 6 years and also Wisconsin - and I wore much thicker clothing, scarfs, heavy gloves, etc. than you have on.
Epic! 5 ft? 😮 crazy!
never stop the chase!
ahhh reed you're in my territory!!! hope you enjoyed your stay here!!
I always liked your videos...entertaining and educational...
Wow that looks intense! Please be careful.💙🥶
You're in San Bernardino boy. :) Can't wait for the view from my house of Baldy/Wrightwood when the clouds clear.
Never Stop Chasing ❤❤
this is awesome
Wow be safe!
Scary! You brave
I lived in Hermosa Beach in the 70s . In maybe 1970 a wave broke past Hermosa pier , and the water was on the pier.
omg you were up in Wrightwood the same time we were on the 15 to the 138. We live in Baja and we had to take a trip up north to see family. We absolutely took good cali weather for granted and didn't even consider doing weather and travel assessment. To add to the circus of that day, the driver's side window of my car was permanently stuck open. My partner essentially braved the blizzard, getting plastered with a layer of snow as we hit the 138 all the way through Phelan and the east AV. Blizzard gusts came into the car and smothered all of us. It was fun for 5 minutes until I was starting to get Donner Party horror flashes. Luckily my partner is an amazing driver and she faired quite well on the snowy roads. We saw so many vehicles flipped over or in really precarious situations. After the AV, we still had to trek up the 101 to SLO and drove through the floods and torrential downpours. Really the worst planned trip ever, but also wild, memorable, and some of it was fun.
Crazy weather here in Calif this year. No blizzard here just south of San Jose but snow all around on the hills. Thanks Reed, Never Stop Chasing!
Awesome man
Laguna Niguel is in South Orange County where I am, we are nowhere near LA County. Reed, why didn’t you tell us you were coming here? I would like to meet you! You are my favorite meteorologist! I’ll have to take an Uber because my car died, but man I don’t want to miss the opportunity!
Great video...used to live in LA never saw snow
Crazy in LA Blizzard 😮
Wow Dr Reed Timmer! 👏 LA?! Amazing! Looks more like a typical winter's day on the coast of Maine! 😳🤭 Great video! Stay Safe! Never Stop Chasing! 😉✌️♥️🦋🙏
