Many supervisors, managers etc have no desire to be a leader. Not faulting them, but most people are just trying to make the most money they can in the 9-5 arena which typically requires becoming a manager. An extreme minority of people look to personal development to better themselves. In some ways it is a luxury to be watching content like this. So let's be grateful. And good job to anyone who is spending their own valuable free time trying to make a better life for themselves and presumably their colleagues.
I could not agree more with this guy. I love standing back and watching young guys figure it out. It's hard to bite your tongue sometimes but it's fun.
Skills and will. All leaders have to adapt to these two elements.

Never realized I was a "situational" leader. I train. Then verify. After that my leadership is only needed in emergency situations. If they want growth I can't give them I point them in the direction they need to go, then move on. I always considered myself an "indifferent" leader but it fostered a lot of loyalty.
