As a personal friend of every member of the band (and a fan in the 80s), it sucks they never got signed to a major label in the US. It's crazy when I was in Japan, they are on Universal...and Racer X gets a stand up display for new releases like they were Katy Perry. It's so different.
@@zublacus Japan is another level, it's exactly the same thing for some amazing bands from Brazil, they are very appreciated in Japan. The metal scene in Brazil has grown a lot in the past 10 years, but even though Japan is just amazing.
Nice job! I'm the webmaster for the RacerX website (obviously not much going on), Jeff and Scott play in my AC/DC / Priest cover band, and while rehearsing yesterday, during a break we watched Racer X Superheroes in Japan (2002) on the Racerxband channel where Jeff was a human capo, because the key UP was easier for him to sing live. So, since I watched that video...the YT gods sent me this link.
Awesome performance man! I'm actually looking for a guitar player that would want to record the whole song. Let me know if you want to give it a try ;)
Fantastic playing, amazing song but their vocalist let the whole project down. Only part I think you've missed is the ending riff. I am sure it's actually a sweeped 4 string arpeggio of 5th intervals. It's a cliche shape that's been overused these days, he is sweeping these shapes and going up/down chromatically. For shape example Tab: X X 12 14 15 17
it’s sad people don’t appreciate racer x because this is incredible. you did the song justice down to the last note.

@@rod-abreu Yep. I’ve been there. I created the band website.

How do we convince them to do a Racer X reunion tour?
Yes! I love that you got straight into it, no messing about. Nice video, man. Keep shredding.

Yeah, there's a great guitar background, other than the singer's vocals, and a variety of moves, clear and fun.
Fuck yes
