Filling New oil filter to prevent dry start, great tip! Been doing that for years without instructions. You will see oil pressure light on dash go out must faster. The more oil changes the more important, even if it makes a mess, it is clean oil to wipe up.
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS check to make sure the filter gasket didn't stay stuck to the bottom of the block because if you stack gaskets on accident you will have a HUGE mess!

Yup go figures some one put a lawn mower oil filter on my 2008 Hyundai sonata so I'm having troubles getting it off

the oil in the video is 5w30... isn't is supposed to be 5w20 for this vehicle?

Dustan Burton depends on the temperature range and how you run it the 6.7 Powerstroke uses 10w30 CJ4 as standard but 15W40 CJ4 in very hot or sever towing environment

Hey, how is fuel consumption with 2.4 engine? Planning to buy one..
I've got an 09 with 150000 I'm averaging 25 mpg.
I have a 2009 2.4 and get 31mpg.
I have an 09 with just a little under 200,000 miles and I get roughly 21 in town so it’s not to bad
Ive had it since 65k. Now it’s at 115k. Around 19 to 24 mpg. Not great but not bad. Car has given me ZERO issues.
I have an 07 with 130,000 miles. I get 20 to 24 city and 28 to 31 highway. Great , reliable car!
I thought these take 5W-20.. not 30
It can use both according to the owners manual.
Odd.. my owners manual says 0w20 or 5w20

Quaker is Hyundai factory recommended
