Venom got stuck trying to lunge at me from behind the building and was basically frozen in place and I couldn't get him unstuck so I just sat there and shot him.
haha mine got stuck in one of the cylinder looking things in the middle, but he was only stuck for like 5 seconds but was enough for some free shots. I was glad because it took my like 7 tries to beat him!
Hey Esoterickk. One. YOU ARE A GOD. Two. Can you show what your traits are as well? I know the extended jump is there and I'm assuming Mod generation and stamina?
First run of the game, hunter 10 gunslinger 8 spec on nightmare..Tried him yesterday ( got empathy unfortunately) latenight..I shouldnt, i was tired and after 2 hours and a couple of somewhat close calls i went to sleep. Went back today, 5 or so tries with 2 of them very close calls and got him. The key for me is heart of the wolf combined with twisted idol, since i am missing most stamina talents heart provides enough stamina to be able to actually manage his constant attacking. Twisted idol allows me to combo armor that would be heavy and have medium encumbrance which brings me to 49% damage reduction without missing on dodge speed...Thus he pretty much cant oneshot me with anything at full health and i can dodge efficiently. Yea i lose some damage but being dead loses more damage than actually being able to survive the fight.
Honestly his moves aint that bad its just on Apoc the margin of error gets quite small lol. Esp when he places to tick damage AOE zones. His actual moves are fine hut man those zones are most of my deaths.
You mean the AOE hit boxes that are complete bullshit? You can dodge completely OUT and still get one-tapped by the Vertical AOE from this boss. Pretty weak ass bullshit from the devs.
So you're probably the only person who I think would have a slight insight on the archon hunt, have you seen anything in game or done anything to indicate anything? Like a corrupt version of any of the world's, or just anything you might think that would be related to It.
Elemental resist and drain 😂 I swear everyone’s video I see they got such weak affix rolls on their bosses… I feel like I get guaranteed thick skin or regen on any boss but this guy had both.
Mine in my first run of Apocalypse has Empathy and Elemental Resist... his sticky grenades pretty much one tap me(with tank build) if he lands one. He wipes me every time I get him to that move that causes spears and explosions everywhere
The trickiest is the slow tracking projectile he shoots, when it lands it bursts into a huge aoe, and he usually does this along with some other tracking projectiles. And after 1/3 or 1/2 health he starts following the stabs up with a delayed spear throw / thrust. Run to the side for the thrust, watch him to dodge the spear throw. If you dodge early he'll catch you. Timing is very tricky I found
You are not supposed to start fresh on appo. You need a maxed out char and a decent build. You can run most of the appo bosses EASY (not this one). With alchemist/medic 50% DR build that has 4 concotions running. You tank so much its insane. Another good build is archon/medic with the ring that give you misty step and the ring that reloads your stowed gun and Nightwalker, you do not need to EVER reload and gan trigger the OP nightwalker mod all the time.

Honestly, one of the worst bosses, just copy pasted the elites from this region. The whole Root Earth map looks like they were running out of time and ideas
I was just saying this last night. The whole last area feels super rushed. It’s short, uninspired, and just basically a boss rush. Worst biome for sure. They only used two colors for the whole area. It’s dumb.

I’m with you 100%. I’ll be enjoying this game, then get to a boss and find myself hating it. I like to shoot in a shooter, not spend 90% off every boss fight jumping around. It’s annoying and stupid. I’m also sick of all the visual noise in the last couple of fights.
For some reason, I actually really liked this boss fight even though it was one of the tougher ones. Nailing all of the dodges at close range feels so rewarding. Also, I really liked the music. I have to agree though that sometimes there’s so much visual clutter that I can’t even see what move the boss is preparing to do lol (I completed solo apocalypse)

1 time use but even if you die they stay active. Alchemist can double the kength if time they remain active as well if set as primary archetype
