A guy in the forums suggested to turn off the music while fighting it. There are tiny audio cues to perfect dodge and its super hard to hear when the music is going off at full blast. It made the fight way easier for me personally. I didn't have to look directly at it a few times to dodge cause I was going strictly from audio cues than visuals.
You mean other than the - now - quite apparent "sheeeng"/swordbeingpulled sound cue? Because this cue is clearly audible at every times. I'm asking this because your comment is a month old and this might have been patched
I never liked to play with music because I always liked the feel immersed and I imagine that if I were in such a fight there will be no music...and it is also distracting.
Just beat him today with a friend on veteran. #1 game changer which I HIGHLY recommend is turning the music volume off to hear the dodge cues. Also, switching your rig or console in options to performance mode to get the best frames. After learning the dodge cues, 1st phase is easy and 2nd phase just takes a little practice. Stack ranged flame damage too if you can. After 2nd phase it’s an easy 20 second run around weak enemies.
This boss is just annoying; the most common issue I've seen when getting to phase 2 is that if a player goes down, trying to revive them is next to impossible between the revive speed (even with modifiers) and the constant teleporting between arenas, ultimately causing a failed run. Definitely think some attack timing should be addressed by the devs for balancing. Otherwise, good video. Fire definitely helps get through this thing quicker.
Phase 2 is what ruins it 100%. The glitch area is a pain if you're a lightweight dodge with roll upgraded since there is like no room. I actually had to switch to heavy armor so I wouldn't roll as far...
Yeah and its so fun when you try to revive your buddy and instead get a reload of the weapon......We stopped playing the game here. It was fun up until this point

Completely unfair and unbalanced fight compared to everthing that came before this fight. I can relatively easy beat phase 1 but holy hell, the next phase obliterates me in 10 seconds
Had the same problem with the previous games final boss. Almost like they should of had a big huge open arena for you to actually have space to move around. So far can almost get to summon the many orbs in red place . Just frustrating I beat many souls games but man this one pisses me off to no end.
After a long hard fought battle was able to beat it think the patch helped out as able to reload and heal way more than before and was less aggressive.
There is a difference between annoying boss fight and a fun challenging boss fight. This definitely falls in the annoying boss fight category. I don't mind the first phase I think its fair and fun but second phase is just annoying. I beat all from software games and spent hours on some boss fights which i didnt mind because they were fun but I don't think i will go through the trouble of beating this one.
This boss is so much harder than anything else i've found in the game. It's like going from fighting a dog to fighting a T-rex . I've got 6 heals, 2 medic heals and healing shot and i can't get anywhere near killing it. I'm only on survivor too but it's still so annoying. I'm just glad Root Earth is set so theres no need to have it in adventure mode.
@@ricklubbers1526 Nightfalls mod is my main damage and a ring for 12% more mod damage. I've tried loads of things but I can't survive the 2nd stage. I've had about 30 attempts at it but I'm at the stage now were I hate it so much my head isn't in it anymore. I really want to finish it but theres no chance.
@@gibbothegibbo Relying on a mod for damage isn't a great idea for most fights. In phase 2 shooting the balls will stun the boss for a rather large window to unload into him. Depending on what level you spawned the boss at, you should be able to go into adventure mode and farm some levels to beat him easier. This boss has some of the easiest attacks to dodge so maybe just adjust your playstyle, armor, and rings around the fight? I found it pretty easy with the ring that heals on dodges, and the ring that gives 25% reduced damage when below 30% hp. Sure your heals won't do anything, but the medic shield ability will give you quite a bit of wiggle room.

Me and my mate just reached the boss. That second phase has fucked us up so many times, while we breezed through everything before. Hopefully we can get it down next time.
Killed him today with engineers turret 💀 just set it up and activate the class skill and just let the turret do the work while you sometimes fire a status effect at the boss and dodge his moves
Sorry to say but whoever designed this boss has a wrong understanding of harder=better. The main problem is the character is too sluggish for a fight like this(no I'm not fat-rolling), you get 1 hit and you lay on the ground like a tree, you get up like an old man with arthirisis . Another issue is the camera goes crazy , can't see what's on the ground or around you while you aim or when you get hit. I even lost where the boss is several times, spent 5 seconds looking for it because everything is red. It hits like a truck, attacks too often, does delayed attacks, one hit you get staggered like a granny with alzheimers. It's my first playthrough but people suggest I change my whole build just to kill this boss, which is also ridiculous. I'd rather delete the game at that point.
Visibility in general is a major issue in this game. Enemies constantly spawn behind you in areas you already cleared, N'Erud is covered in fog so you can't see shit, flying enemies in Yaesha appear out of nowhere and are impossible to track, trash mobs in Losomn have the same colour palette as the world so they are literally impossible to see from a certain distance...I dunno how this wasn't noticed in QA.
There is no skill to this fight, it's just frustrating trash. I literally just bought an item to regen 1 hp per second and beat him first try after that. The more I play, the more I realise how the difficulty design of this game is trash tier. Gearing and experimentation, also trash tier. The difficulty at the start of the game makes more sense, it's all about conserving ammo, slower, strategical play. As soon as you get a couple of rings you can forget all about that and it becomes easy mode. And then they decide to put a boss that has no counterplay
It's my first game like this and I struggled a lot while playing through on survivor. I spend ~100h to get gear and solve all the nice puzzles in adventure mode. A few days ago I started on apocalyptic. I defeated the Ravager, played through the labyrinth and now I'm at Fealin for two days... getting deleted by his delayed attacks over and over again. I can't imagine fighting this boss on anything than survivor. I guess I call it a game and move on. Good game - interesting experience. 🙂 Thanks for all the helpful videos, I enjoyed that! 🤘
Faelin is a hard boss yea, i beat him with the full Leto Armor + the ring that allow you to do the best evade even you are overweight. If you're evade is slow it is super hard
Everything in the game scales to your world level which you can see in the top right corner of your minimap and I believe upgrading weapons and levelling archetypes increases your world level faster
This boss completely ruined the game for me. To come this far with a fair and fun level of difficulty then to get slapped by this obnoxious visually nauseating monstrosity of a boss fight in order to beat the game just felt completely out of touch and over the top. I quit the game months ago after a bunch of tries on this P.O.S and I’m not even mad about it. Boss is whack.
I don't wanna be one of those 'it's not that bad' guys but I found this boss way easier than most others in the game. I just slapped down my overclocked turret and summoned 2 floaty boys and I barely had to fire a shot for phase 1. Phase 2 was much more intense, but as long as you have the music turned off the sound cues for the sword are really easy. All in all I'm very relieved because I was absolutely dreading this fight based on other people's comments.
I’m playing this solo and it took me an hour just to beat the first level. I was so happy thinking I’d done it and then when the second battle started I wanted to cry… I was ruined in one hit and then game over. I haven’t got anyone I enjoy playing games with that plays this game 😢
I'm using engineer as my primary and summoner as my secondary, but the engineering class is really starting to piss me off. on PS5 you have to hold L1 while double tapping R1 to recall and yet it NEVER fucking works which is getting me killed during this boss fight. Also, when I beat phase 1, if I have my turret deployed during the transition to phase 2 , it glitches out by disappearing. My turret is no where to be seen, I have full ammo yet I can't seem to deploy it or disable it. Engineer has so much potential yet they fucked up it, all cause they cant make a proper mechanical recall
Why don't you do a little breakdown on the bosses attacks. Showing his different attacks and the cues on when to dodge. That would be a much better video than just saying learn how to dodge LOL
What is it with Gunfire Games and making impossibly hard final bosses? They had the same problem with the first game's final boss, where it was next to impossible to beat.
@@olivercoombs788 it’s basically full letos with medic as left and summoner in right with the burden of the divine alongside the resonating heart, but their is an incredible amount of room to work with with this build your weapons are yours to choose and it only gets more powerful with more players.
Use Challlenger on first Slot, and Medic on the Sec Slot. Play Full Cooldownreduction and spam healin (medic) and firerate(challenger) skills u wont die :D And if u die u come back becuse passive from Challenger. Play Fire Mod Weapons and use Rings/amulett that increases Fire and Mod Damage. And have fun :D
He's a right massive jerk. Did it solo with Invader/Engineer. Was using my railgun to do a lot of the heavy lifting, and that extra evasion window was helpful for avoiding the weirdly timed stuff that got me normally
I finally got it. Turning off the music probably the biggest help youre gonna get in this fight🤣🤣🤣just getting vetter at dodging is the only thing thats gonna get you through this
Thanks . I probably need to go back through the other stages and find the armor and the guns cuz my setup is still pretty basic I kind of rushed through it. Me and two other people did this boss fight about 20 times and only one of us made it to the second stage I was so stoked I thought the guy that was playing with us actually beat him and then the second part shows up 🤦🏻.
Beat him in 3 tries trying solo tonight navies my team wouldn’t stop dying yesterday I mean it’s a hard fight but his attacks aren’t really random once u know then they are all qued with either a sons or visual

I tried I couldn’t do it I just don’t have the reflexes and the timing right and I get too frustrated with games like this. I already platinum eldenring that’s good enough for me. I think I’m done with this kind of games when I come home from work I don’t want to be getting frustrated on the game when I already have enough frustration at work I want to play something chill and relax plus their way of making things harder is throwing a bunch of AOE’s in a bunch of crazy static which blinds a player and I can’t see what’s going on for the last boss is ridiculous and there seems like they haven’t learned a lesson there’s still put in a bunch of enemies in there when I’m trying to fight the boss on certain fight I’m just done with this game not worth it
I tried using the flame thrower turret but its totaly useless or even bugged, it just shoots its fireballs at the entrance the whole time, this boss lets me doubt the game completly. My build was an handlery engineer combi with all dmg + modifiers, now I am a gunslingery engineer because the handler is useless here and I still think about changing out of engineer because the game does not teleport my turret with me in the second phase, I am so frustrated right now. What did I build the whole game when suddenly the difficult is so out of this world that I have to change my whole build for this one enemy, wtf. I did it, engineer + gunslinger + as much dmg as possible + learning the mechanics. There are so many buildparts in this game that are completly useless against that boss. Kinda forcing you into playing a quite smaller variety of buildoptions...
I wouldn't say handler is that useless, the dog revive is clutch as hell and his howls are pretty decent, been using handler/engi with nightstalker wep and it shreds the bosses HP in phase 1, atleast with 2 engis anyway, also if you didn't know any items that buff summons also count for the dog and turret not just the Summoner Archetype.
Im not the youngest gamer out there, and this boss gave me hell until i spec'd into amour (Letos) and ran the leto amulet to reduce weight so i could still roll, plus some damage reduction rings, increase relic speed use and the standard dragon heart relic, AR with hot shot and bleed mutator +10 and Enigma for those pesky orange orbs, Invader class for the perfect dodge skill and Hunter as secondary class for invis skill. With this setup i cleared him first try after many other unsuccessful Hunter Gunslinger and even Challenger etc etc DPS builds. Im guessing its my dodge that sux so this setup got me through Vs the pure DPS type build.
@@vlotoy tbh, i didnt have any damage reducing traits, just damage reducing rings. Most of my traits were AOE, skill cooldown, evade distance, stanima, health etc. And at that stage i didnt have the health regen from damage trait either so it all came down to the armor, relic and relic speed use and rings etc. plus the AR with hotshot and bleed +10.

DAMN THAT WAS HARD.

its 100% worth its price when you compare it to other games releasing these days at a higher price point but with tonnes more issues and much less content than remnant 2 offers
I just managed to kill this boss and all I can say is that this boss can go sodomite a cactus. But for a tip, in phase two when the boss sweeps the sword he will make a sound just before he does. Also don't sit in the middle section it seems that the sword is very likely to hit you if he drops it there. In the first phase learn the damned dodge timings for the attacks, hardest is the backsweep (2nd part of the sweep) for that wait until the boss starts moving back to hit you. Also I used the Nightweaver gun for the lifesteal and corrosive rounds on my smg. Used Gunslinger/Medic with Bulletstorm/Healing Shield for DPS+ammo/resilience against being two shot. You won't have much time to heal or find ammo so plan for that. Towards the end of phase 2 the arena will shift between phase 1 and phase 2's remember what the other phase was doing when it switched cause that is what the boss will do when it switches back. Also the boss is a pain in the ass expect NO LESS than 30 tries.
@@Born2Game you don't get it man even with a great Specht PC the game drops to single digits if not mid-teens FPS during the second phase because of all the bulshit flashing around the only other boss that I've had a similar instance with was the asylum nightmare World boss.
Any apocalypse build can be used on annihilation. Annihilation is way more focused on your dodge timing rather than any build but add fire and you’ll deal good damage too

I did tryed it with 2randoms and well.. short we died to many times so they where like by. After that I changed some Rings and with more healbuffs(Archon) and more tryes with solo on Veteran on my first run I died most on the last phase.. but somehow I got it, just to be know that this damn is just not really over. So I don't know how much worse this virus can get, maybe I have to read in some lore to know how damned we actually are from the beginning
Maybe I can come to appreciate this boss but at the moment I hate it. Itt´s got the part of Dark Souls that i dont like. Cluttered screen, multi attacks and AOE. Love the game though. I was a big fan of the first one also, and I liked that boss more. It was simpler, yes. But this end boss just feels like a big road block.
This boss has kinda ruined my willingness to play the game. Perfect timed dodges are not a fun requirement for fights imo. I know im being bitchy but after fighting the final boss and getting crushed i just dont understand why it needed to be so hard.

Yup on my apocalypse run I got hearty and regenerator affix on him finally beat him then uninstalled the game. This boss alone left a bitter taste in my mouth and made me literally not want to play any further after apocalypse run it did not give me a sense of happiness for beating him like souls/elden ring bosses did just pure disgust and happy it was over and didn't have to touch it again.
The Star Shot Pistol 🔫 is very effect, especially with the Big Bang blast 💥 upgrade the crap out of that weapon and this boss will go down like 2000 or so damage with the blast wow 😮 that weapon is powerful as hell!

I'm new to the game and finally beat it last night. I didn't find this boss anywhere NEAR as annoying or hard as half the comments are making it out to seem lol. It was honestly relatively easy. The attacks especially for the first phase are VERY easy to dodge as they give plenty of time to do so. Second phase is the much harder one for sure, but still not that bad at all. Maybe this is just because I've played tons of souls likes and also always been a massive shooter fan so this game kinda just meshed really well for me and never had any issues. Currently running on the hardest difficulty for 2nd run and will do hardcore after that.
This boss fight is dumb. Fighting game engine more than fighting boss. Camera keeps jumping around, glitch glitches. Mostly luck or frustration. Didn't enjoy this fight at all sadly.

I uninstalled this game after I was taken to the second phase and got wiped out. No game in the world should be this aggravating.

1. everything is too red in phase 2 hurting my eyes

As soon as you get a couple of rings you can forget all about that and it becomes easy mode. And then they decide to put a boss that has no counterplay
It's my first game like this and I struggled a lot while playing through on survivor.
I spend ~100h to get gear and solve all the nice puzzles in adventure mode.
A few days ago I started on apocalyptic. I defeated the Ravager, played through the labyrinth and now I'm at Fealin for two days... getting deleted by his delayed attacks over and over again.
I can't imagine fighting this boss on anything than survivor. I guess I call it a game and move on.

Faelin is a hard boss yea, i beat him with the full Leto Armor + the ring that allow you to do the best evade even you are overweight. If you're evade is slow it is super hard
Ugh this boss is so tough. Does anyone know if it’s worth leveling up and coming back? Or does the boss scale to your level?
Everything in the game scales to your world level which you can see in the top right corner of your minimap and I believe upgrading weapons and levelling archetypes increases your world level faster
This boss completely ruined the game for me. To come this far with a fair and fun level of difficulty then to get slapped by this obnoxious visually nauseating monstrosity of a boss fight in order to beat the game just felt completely out of touch and over the top. I quit the game months ago after a bunch of tries on this P.O.S and I’m not even mad about it. Boss is whack.

I don't wanna be one of those 'it's not that bad' guys but I found this boss way easier than most others in the game. I just slapped down my overclocked turret and summoned 2 floaty boys and I barely had to fire a shot for phase 1. Phase 2 was much more intense, but as long as you have the music turned off the sound cues for the sword are really easy.
All in all I'm very relieved because I was absolutely dreading this fight based on other people's comments.
I’m playing this solo and it took me an hour just to beat the first level. I was so happy thinking I’d done it and then when the second battle started I wanted to cry… I was ruined in one hit and then game over. I haven’t got anyone I enjoy playing games with that plays this game 😢

Apocalypse is the most hardest boss countered. Even if compare with Dark soul 1-3 and elden ring…

I feel genuinely relieved that everyone else is having such a rough time,me and my best friend have tried 20+ times.
I died like 300 times. Developers are sick. You need to know how he fking breathes in order to pass him lol
because i dont have time to grind, or the will to do so either, I used a trainer. the end disappoints, so im glad i did it this way.
I'm using engineer as my primary and summoner as my secondary, but the engineering class is really starting to piss me off. on PS5 you have to hold L1 while double tapping R1 to recall and yet it NEVER fucking works which is getting me killed during this boss fight. Also, when I beat phase 1, if I have my turret deployed during the transition to phase 2 , it glitches out by disappearing. My turret is no where to be seen, I have full ammo yet I can't seem to deploy it or disable it. Engineer has so much potential yet they fucked up it, all cause they cant make a proper mechanical recall
Why don't you do a little breakdown on the bosses attacks. Showing his different attacks and the cues on when to dodge. That would be a much better video than just saying learn how to dodge LOL

Believe it or not I actually cheesed the boss with a Regenerator Defiler build. I don’t care about the chip damage if I’m out healing it tenfold

@@olivercoombs788 it’s basically full letos with medic as left and summoner in right with the burden of the divine alongside the resonating heart, but their is an incredible amount of room to work with with this build your weapons are yours to choose and it only gets more powerful with more players.

Use Challlenger on first Slot, and Medic on the Sec Slot.
Play Full Cooldownreduction and spam healin (medic) and firerate(challenger) skills u wont die :D
And if u die u come back becuse passive from Challenger. Play Fire Mod Weapons and use Rings/amulett that increases Fire and Mod Damage.

He's a right massive jerk. Did it solo with Invader/Engineer. Was using my railgun to do a lot of the heavy lifting, and that extra evasion window was helpful for avoiding the weirdly timed stuff that got me normally
2nd phase is ridiculously hard. I'm playing survivor level, and the final boss (2nd phase) is as hard as other games on the hardest level.
ended up lvling engineer for it and summoner so i could sit and tank with dot damage literally had to play as afk build to beat it.

The first phase is piss easy, like any other bosses in the game (as long as you dodge the fuckin orbs). Then second phase kicks in.... hell on earth.
I finally got it. Turning off the music probably the biggest help youre gonna get in this fight🤣🤣🤣just getting vetter at dodging is the only thing thats gonna get you through this

Thanks . I probably need to go back through the other stages and find the armor and the guns cuz my setup is still pretty basic I kind of rushed through it. Me and two other people did this boss fight about 20 times and only one of us made it to the second stage I was so stoked I thought the guy that was playing with us actually beat him and then the second part shows up 🤦🏻.

Beat him in 3 tries trying solo tonight navies my team wouldn’t stop dying yesterday I mean it’s a hard fight but his attacks aren’t really random once u know then they are all qued with either a sons or visual
Phase 2 of this end boss is complete bs. Even dodging with the audio cues.
loved the game untill act 5 im really annoyed got to final act and rolling is kinda fucking useless here in the final act and same with all melee. why make melee so important but last two bosses you literally cant even use melee. wtf guys bad game design and signs of rushed development at the end

I tried I couldn’t do it I just don’t have the reflexes and the timing right and I get too frustrated with games like this. I already platinum eldenring that’s good enough for me. I think I’m done with this kind of games when I come home from work I don’t want to be getting frustrated on the game when I already have enough frustration at work I want to play something chill and relax plus their way of making things harder is throwing a bunch of AOE’s in a bunch of crazy static which blinds a player and I can’t see what’s going on for the last boss is ridiculous and there seems like they haven’t learned a lesson there’s still put in a bunch of enemies in there when I’m trying to fight the boss on certain fight I’m just done with this game not worth it

I tried using the flame thrower turret but its totaly useless or even bugged, it just shoots its fireballs at the entrance the whole time, this boss lets me doubt the game completly. My build was an handlery engineer combi with all dmg + modifiers, now I am a gunslingery engineer because the handler is useless here and I still think about changing out of engineer because the game does not teleport my turret with me in the second phase, I am so frustrated right now. What did I build the whole game when suddenly the difficult is so out of this world that I have to change my whole build for this one enemy, wtf.
I did it, engineer + gunslinger + as much dmg as possible + learning the mechanics. There are so many buildparts in this game that are completly useless against that boss. Kinda forcing you into playing a quite smaller variety of buildoptions...
I wouldn't say handler is that useless, the dog revive is clutch as hell and his howls are pretty decent, been using handler/engi with nightstalker wep and it shreds the bosses HP in phase 1, atleast with 2 engis anyway, also if you didn't know any items that buff summons also count for the dog and turret not just the Summoner Archetype.
Im not the youngest gamer out there, and this boss gave me hell until i spec'd into amour (Letos) and ran the leto amulet to reduce weight so i could still roll, plus some damage reduction rings, increase relic speed use and the standard dragon heart relic, AR with hot shot and bleed mutator +10 and Enigma for those pesky orange orbs, Invader class for the perfect dodge skill and Hunter as secondary class for invis skill. With this setup i cleared him first try after many other unsuccessful Hunter Gunslinger and even Challenger etc etc DPS builds. Im guessing its my dodge that sux so this setup got me through Vs the pure DPS type build.
which traits are you using?
@@vlotoy tbh, i didnt have any damage reducing traits, just damage reducing rings. Most of my traits were AOE, skill cooldown, evade distance, stanima, health etc. And at that stage i didnt have the health regen from damage trait either so it all came down to the armor, relic and relic speed use and rings etc. plus the AR with hotshot and bleed +10.
@@thestrapguy2006 just beat the shit out of this boss with my hunter + gunslinger after many tries...1st phase became a joke after first attempts...just shroud+bulletstorm+hot shot and nice dodge timing...2nd phase is insanely tough...after some practice dodging sword swings and a bit of luck dodging through phases...winning this fight really makes the whole game worth even more. tks for the tips though. DAMN THAT WAS HARD.

its 100% worth its price when you compare it to other games releasing these days at a higher price point but with tonnes more issues and much less content than remnant 2 offers
I put my game on public and two absolute champions helped cream him for me
I just managed to kill this boss and all I can say is that this boss can go sodomite a cactus. But for a tip, in phase two when the boss sweeps the sword he will make a sound just before he does. Also don't sit in the middle section it seems that the sword is very likely to hit you if he drops it there. In the first phase learn the damned dodge timings for the attacks, hardest is the backsweep (2nd part of the sweep) for that wait until the boss starts moving back to hit you. Also I used the Nightweaver gun for the lifesteal and corrosive rounds on my smg. Used Gunslinger/Medic with Bulletstorm/Healing Shield for DPS+ammo/resilience against being two shot. You won't have much time to heal or find ammo so plan for that. Towards the end of phase 2 the arena will shift between phase 1 and phase 2's remember what the other phase was doing when it switched cause that is what the boss will do when it switches back.
Also the boss is a pain in the ass expect NO LESS than 30 tries.

Any apocalypse build can be used on annihilation. Annihilation is way more focused on your dodge timing rather than any build but add fire and you’ll deal good damage too

Unironically my fav build is "Jimbo mode" dog, alchemist, coach, and sawn-off shotty lol. Drinkin with the dog and shotguns for days.

Two manned it on apocalypse and came in with the clutch after my teammate died halfway through the second phase. 😤
I did tryed it with 2randoms and well.. short we died to many times so they where like by. After that I changed some Rings and with more healbuffs(Archon) and more tryes with solo on Veteran on my first run I died most on the last phase.. but somehow I got it, just to be know that this damn is just not really over. So I don't know how much worse this virus can get, maybe I have to read in some lore to know how damned we actually are from the beginning

Maybe I can come to appreciate this boss but at the moment I hate it. Itt´s got the part of Dark Souls that i dont like. Cluttered screen, multi attacks and AOE. Love the game though. I was a big fan of the first one also, and I liked that boss more. It was simpler, yes. But this end boss just feels like a big road block.

This boss has kinda ruined my willingness to play the game. Perfect timed dodges are not a fun requirement for fights imo. I know im being bitchy but after fighting the final boss and getting crushed i just dont understand why it needed to be so hard.
Yeah, this boss is the hardest I have ever encountered in a souls game. Phase too seems to drag because there isn't a lot of time to DPS the boss.
It's designed poorly. There's barely time to dps it. Fromsoft is good at making boss actually give you a chance. This is not a souls boss

Yup on my apocalypse run I got hearty and regenerator affix on him finally beat him then uninstalled the game. This boss alone left a bitter taste in my mouth and made me literally not want to play any further after apocalypse run it did not give me a sense of happiness for beating him like souls/elden ring bosses did just pure disgust and happy it was over and didn't have to touch it again.
The Star Shot Pistol 🔫 is very effect, especially with the Big Bang blast 💥 upgrade the crap out of that weapon and this boss will go down like 2000 or so damage with the blast wow 😮 that weapon is powerful as hell!

I'm new to the game and finally beat it last night. I didn't find this boss anywhere NEAR as annoying or hard as half the comments are making it out to seem lol. It was honestly relatively easy. The attacks especially for the first phase are VERY easy to dodge as they give plenty of time to do so. Second phase is the much harder one for sure, but still not that bad at all. Maybe this is just because I've played tons of souls likes and also always been a massive shooter fan so this game kinda just meshed really well for me and never had any issues. Currently running on the hardest difficulty for 2nd run and will do hardcore after that.

This boss fight is dumb. Fighting game engine more than fighting boss. Camera keeps jumping around, glitch glitches. Mostly luck or frustration. Didn't enjoy this fight at all sadly.
