- SECRET Remnant 2 N'Erud Weapons You NEED to Get! Remnant 2 Tips and Tricks. In this video we are taking a look at how you get 2 secret weapons which are available in Remnant 2. These weapons are the Atom Smasher and Pulse Rifle which is the Engineer class/archetypes starting weapon. These require specific world rolls but you should know when you have them based on the dungeons and areas in N'Erud.
These Remnant 2 secret weapons are some you'll use often when you obtain them although I highly recommend upgrading them quite a bit because the damage increases drastically and the pulse rifle is incredible being a burst rifle and the atom smasher improves attack speed when using a charged attack. there is another Secret weapon you can find on N'Erud as well, there is a weapon called Star Shot that functions like a raygun and has an AOE Nuke for it's Mod and is treated as a boss weapon. (one of my new favorites) Simply need a version of N'Erud with the Hatchery and then go around kicking all the pods around the map in the same area the Hatchery area is accessable. Afterwards you go through the Hatchery Dungeon and enable the power to the area. Once the power is enabled go back out the door and a previously dormant panel directly in front of you and activate it. the robot in the middle will become active and launch out into the sky retrieving the pods one in the lower section by one until all six are back. You should get it for the last pod. super fun gun and highly recommend!
To clairify the pods are like little white coffins with orange amber lights, you will know they are active because they will emit a pinging sound until the robot picks them up. should be six in total.
We did it without the hatchery, I have a video coming soon for that 👍
The supply ship for me (where you open the pods, after "kicking" all the coffins, was right outside the dark conduit dungeon.
@@TheFlamerGamer3 They had a pinging for me, but after I died, they didn't get the pinging sound again. Is it broken now?

U need just one cipher. Two players take position at the machine, open the inventory and insert at the same time (count to 3 or something like that) and you can cheese it.
You miss out on the amulet tho
Can confirm, you can get 1, 2 or no dungeon. You can tell how many you have by how many keys are already in the machine. If you only have 1, you can get the pistol part, but wont be able to get the rifle.
I had one key in the machine and no terminus station on my world. gotta reroll I guess. :3

My map has Dormant N'erud Facility but not Terminus Station, two of the slots were already complete and I was able to put in Memory Slot II to get the Core Booster amulet, but nothing after. I guess you have to hope to get both locations on your roll if you want the pulse rifle.

It’s easier to raise my 5 kids
I guess the room under the npc is always there, but the machine is randomized. In my game, the machine already has all 3 keys placed and the room is open, but nothing's in there. Around the corner of the room there is the crafting material Escalation Circuit at least
Yeah the machine is randomised as I found out later on
You can really optimize your run with this knowledge. Go to the custodian, go into the room if there is only 1 key so its locked off, there you got the roll you probably need to get the weapon. Otherwise reroll the adventure.
I had one opening so I only got the first item. Terminus station wasn't in my world
@@klissattack 2 keys in for me, I found the 3rd at the station with the trains took it back only 1 room open for me and got a amulet. (CORE BOOSTER) increase weak spot damage by 50% after killing an enemy last 10secs
@naru6081 ya that's the item I got too. Sounds like we were both missing the second dungeon in our worlds
During the train fight right before you climb the ladder go to the right, you can crawl underneath and grab amulet called Hyperconductor it's hyper good for skills!👍🤓
I just came across this pulse rifle in youtube videos... I tried to reroll 16 times a new world, usually I got 2 keys in place or all the keys in place... Never did I get only 1 in place with 2 barriers. Ouhh well I gave up
in that last area if you go off the path to the right and go around and under there is a item to find aswell
So I may have just missed it, but we didn't get the second dungeon you mentioned. Only the train. Maybe that spot that gives the second core can appear in other dungeons?
To get the chance to spawn both dungeons with the keys, make sure the first checkpoint is Seeker's Rest when you visit N'erud. Then run to the Custodian's tower, down the hole, and check if there are 2 empty sockets in the console. You cannot get the rifle if there are fewer, and you must reroll. Btw when on the train, for the first time before climbing the ladder, shoot the breakable barrels on the left side, crouch, pass through, and behind there is a chest containing an item that can be crafted into a weapon or mod. In the second dungeon If you rush to where the door key is, without killing the bugs, next to the key is a console. Interact and shut down the quarantine, and a miniboss will appear and rewards a weapon mutator. Make sure the timer won't expire. Good luck!

if you don't clear all the mobs before you get to the spot you can initiate a purge that kills them all and it spawns a little mini boss type mob
the fight gives you the failsafe mutator
I got locked out of the DG after the boss battle cuz I died does it unlock later?
I have a question I’ve been re rolling adventure mode on nerud and I always get one key slot open but right I re rolled the map and went to the same area and this time all keys were there and the gate was open but nothing in there is it a glitch
No, you just have to get the right roll on the world for 2 slots to be empty
In the room before where yout put the 2 sticks to close the forcefield, on one side you can crouch to get an item

For me similar situation xD yesterday (Sunday) I was there looking quest item seekers key, than I goes farming crappie for upgrade, than I see the solution in yt video
My first world didn't have the second wall because my world only had terminus station. It didn't have the second dungeon in it so they removed the second wall for me but they also removed the pulse rife....
You have to reroll the world in adventure mode until you get both doors locked for the pulse rifle
Would you advise rerolling or just just progress through the story and do looting afterwards??
Id like rather have the loot going whilst doing thr playthrough, but not sure if this is a good idea.

The same roll. Each roll changes the machine so you need to find the right roll that has both pieces missing from the machine then you can get the rifle

So odd. The door of the purple waves are already open (the 2 memory cores are already instered) in my adventure mode. I bet the door was unlocked sometime when I joined as a random in other player's public session. Nonetheless, I don't have the pulse rifle in my inventory BUT I have the amulet. Could that be possible?? I'm so confused and want to know if the rifle re-pop again if I re-farm the cores in the train and the dorment facility.
If you reroll the world the pulse rifle will spawn there again if you get the correct roll

What does it mean when there is already three decorum cyphers in those slots when i first visit that purple room?

So…the hexagonal stone walkway that leads to the room where you plug in the glyph and get your loot….DID YOU JUMP OFF IT ONTO THE DIRT AND WALK AROUND EITHER SIDE…..MAYBE CROUCH DOWN AND ENTER A SMALL CHAMBER? I did….😃

About the Pulse rifle, the ppl said to reroll the world so the doors should be open when you find two glyphs empty instead of one. Is it true?
Both doors need to be locked and the machine needs to have both the memory core and decorum cipher missing to get the pulse rifle

well i had this room with necklace "core booster" but no second power wall behind it at all. guess I'm just unlucky and my world spawned without this plasma gun.. need to re-roll again. Meh.. thanks for a great guide

Ok, so how do i find terminal station? I got threshold of the unknown, ascension spire, void vessel, phantom wasteland, seekers rest, and putrid domain.. Infound another area with a lift, but the door is locked. Can't find the other area. Do i just keep re-rolling?

I had to re-roll a few times to get the machine with 2 slots. Both times I started at forgotten prison. After progressing through the first area and defeating the boss to open the second part of the world, terminal station was right next to the eon vault both times.

You check first if you got the right roll!! If you start N erud go too the room where you must put the 2 cores in. If you see you can put 2 cores in you got the right roll!! If you can only put 1 core in or none its not the right roll!!
Have you or anybody else found that purple floating gravity ball it chases you it can be found in the hatchery or other you cannot kill it but there has to be something to it
Yeah and there’s nothing to it, it’s just an inconvenient non killable enemy

No, you just have to reroll the world until you get the right roll where both devices are missing from the machine

If you don’t have the correct dungeon you need to reroll that world in adventure mode until it appears in your game. If you don’t have the ability to play adventure mode then you need to complete that world in your campaign first to unlock it

I have this exact world in my campaign but there is one problem..... I blow it up don't use the override key it only makes things worse
Correct! ANYONE who wants to use the override key to get the alternate kill for a different item, COMPLETE N'Erud COMPLETELY because you'll never be able to return on that save and will have to reroll it. So get everything you can before using the override key. If you care enough about the weapon it gives you

I also blew up my 1st n'erud without knowing there is actually a different option.. and had to kill the alternate guardian version as my 1st world boss :D on veteran. It was kinda painful.. and after I read more about it and understood my mistake it was too late alr.
As a latecomer to the game, I saw this after I’d done the abyssal rift, all 3 things put in to make that thing purple and I don’t get the rifle :(

You need a different world roll so you’ll have to complete the world you’re in, reroll it in adventure mode and do it again. You need to have 2 empty slots when you first enter the world so that the train dungeon shows up or it won’t work
I only had a single key inserted, with two open...but my world somehow didn't have the train? Nothing I've seen says you can have 2 open but fail to get it.
Only had the Hatchery and Dormant Facility. Joined into a Terminus, got the hammer but the cypher didn't transfer with me(hammer did.)
You should be getting it when a single key is in the machine, I don’t know why it hasn’t worked

Try re-rolling in adventure mode. You'll get the option once you finish n'erud

I was able to follow every step until you said go to the dormant N'erud facility because I just can't find it on my map, I can even find the other 2 keys to progress the game, it's been 2 hours of running around checking everything 3 times over
As long as you have 2 open slots in the machine the dungeon has to be in your world roll

The machine had 2 open slots but only 1 of the maps. Rng maps are good idea on paper but bad in practice.
Mine rolled differently it rolled with two of those memory controls already in it and I had one It opened the door but only gave me the ring . I think it has something to do with difficulty or playthrough
same, both my runs were on easy difficulty btw.

Look at darkshadow916 comment above. Theirs a fine gentleman in that thread that walked through everything you need to make this happen. Buddy and I re-rolled Na’rud 3 times and had the prerequisites for it.

The first part of the video was the Dreamcatcher and after getting it we used the Atom Smasher and yeah they’re both good
Yeah so,. the right hand elevator down the hole at the custodian, does not lead to the train station at all.
There is no Elevator to the right when you are playing the character with the dog 🐕.
Your character doesn’t remove an elevator from the game

You need both areas in your world roll that have the keys or you won’t be able to open both purple walls

Got everything except the gun, gave me scrap instead. Not sure why since I don't have it.
That’s weird because even when you pickup a duplicate weapon it shouldn’t give you scrap, it should give you a free level for that weapon
@@Born2Game Saw the solution in a different video. Unless the room has two slots missing for the memory can the other key then the gun doesn't spawn. So I check for that first before looking every where for this train dungeon. If both keys are missing then it's a guaranteed spawn. Checking the amount of keys first is crucial as it lets you know if you should bother looking.

@@Born2Game OK - Here are a couple more SECRETS I found in N'Erud. Keep In mind I started in N'Erud, it was my first world in the campaign for me, and it layout might be different than yours version of N'Rrud. Honestly, I found these secret areas looking for the pulse rifle in this video of yours...couldn't find it. I think the pulse rifle is in a different area for me. I'm finding out that everyone's campaign is different, depending on which world you start in. Regardless...I spent the day completely going thru every "nook and cranny" of N'Erud looking for the pulse rifle when I found these:
1. Vault of the Formless - at the end of this dungeon, I don't know if its a boss fight 'per say', but it is a hard few areas where you have to fight your way thru a few sections until you reach the end and get a reward. 2, of the 3 or 4, areas are blocked off by 2 rotating towers that house pods (there is a huge mechanical machine moving pods to and from these towers as you work your way thru the area). As the towers rotate, they exposing corridors thru them that give you access to the next section. Once vou've completed everything in all the sections and reached the end....go back to the first tower you encounter as you work you way back. However, do not go thru the towers corridor to the other side....just step inside the towers corridor and wait for it to rotate (90 degrees). It will expose a hidden corridor/room and loot.
2. Astropath's Respite - this is a tall dungeon that leads to a boss fight at the top. The dungeon is filled with numerous lift/elevator rides as you go higher and higher. Constantly walking from section to section on age worn walk-ways that are deteriorated and falling apart. One of the last elevator rides, is a VERY long/tall ride (this ride is the one that takes you to the level where the boss fight is located. Keep in mind, there are a couple lift/elevator rides in the boss area, so don't get them mixed up). You will notice that, for some reason, this elevator ride moves slower than the other ones. About halfway up the elevator ride is a break in the wall exposing a hidden chamber and loot. You will have to step off the elevator while it is moving (don't worry there is a hidden elevator that will bring you back down so you can get back up and reach the boss). Its easier to look for the opening while you are riding the elevator from the bottom up. Just look up as you start the ride....if you don't see it, just rotate your view and do the ride again. This is easily something to get done before you do the boss fight.
Again, I must stress that not every version of N'Reud (nor any other world) is the same. I see a lot of people having to go into "adventure mode" and reroll the worlds until they get the version they are looking for....keep that in mind.

So....this game...tells it's campaign story...expecting players to re-roll? I'm stuck....cant progress without re-rolling....this is epic...it fits the story of the player endlessly going through the multi verse

I got Witcher 3 Complete Edition so cheap, with all DLC.
It's not only huge, with the DLC, it's crazy big, and there have been support patches for it, which i suspect because of the series.
If you played Witcher 2, you'll find you need to use your signs and magic more.
If you can get it cheap Bill you may enjoy it if you like that kind of game.
I've clocked 77 hours and only level 13/100, so it will provide hundreds of hours of entertainment if like me you do everything, plus the exploring.
It's a brilliant game, and now I'm on a work break. I'm smashing it.

It’s not pointless because you reroll until you get the right world roll. It’s randomly generated but there aren’t many different variations
