Great demo Mitch and terrific chops as well. I'll be getting the Mimiq soon. It's just like the Double Tracker feature on my Line 6 Vetta II combo amp.
Would it be possible for anyone in @Sweetwater to make a video testing the TC Electronic Spectracomp with a guitar (not bass)? Who knows maybe that little pedal can attract guitar players and not just bassists. I understand internally it works similar to the Hypergravity, but would like to listen to a real test. Cheers!
Why on earth do you not play the same thing with and without the pedal? Really hard to compare when you are playing different licks and grooves.
The mimiq mini has a high freq "artifact" similar to what i hear in the jhs 3 series hall reverb. Im not sure if everyone can hear it and it does not come through over youtube. I wish it had a tone nob for the effect

I'd strongly recommend playing this in-store before buying. I have the mini and unless you' deliberately try to pick up on the "doubling" you' lol hardly, if at all, recognize it. The doubling on the standard mimiq is easily recognized (and sounds really great IF you run it in stereo with 2 amp separation). Thinking about getting the standard myself (after wasting $ on the mini) but I'm having too much fun with the Keeley ms30. It's mono but MAN! Great auto-doubling emulator that creates a wall of sound.

You can stereo split your signal and use the Mimiq Mini 100% wet on one side of your stereo signal to get similar results like you'd get with the normal mimiq.
sounds cool, is it best to run the mimiq thru the front for the effect loop?

I run it at the end before my ditto looper and it works great here.
I use the Mimiq when playing slide I can get that George Harrison sound love it!

Isn't the doubler rendered useless in mono?
Yes
You can still use it stereo. Set the dry to minimum, wet to wherever it doesn't sound louder than the regular signal, and have it on one side after a stereo split (If you have a chorus pedal, etc.).
I use it on my 1x12 combo. Sounds good to me.
Good days.i see.te electronics do have free pedals of tone 's, print at the app.....over 30 packages for you and me.....so solid...but, I am looks for my wah wah 's , tone .please
Please stop using always different guitar
There's no familiarities with what we are hearing, so we're unable to pick up on what's different with the pedals and stuff
I think all that matters is that the dry sound is played in comparison.
