The Wampler Mini Ego Compressor pedal is a pint sized compressor pedal with loads of great tone. What makes this compressor awesome is it actually feels GREAT to play. Some compressor pedals tend you suck the life out of your tone or they squish it so much it just feels weird - not with the Wampler Mini Ego Compressor. If you're in the market for a compressor pedal and you want something a lot of the Nashville guys are using, check this out.
    Recording set up:
I am plugged into my Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue amplifier on the clean channel into a Two-Notes Torpedo Live. ‎

Very good demo (as always I would say ;-) seems a great little compressor with many carefully chosen features.

Shane it's good that you are educating people about compressors. I have an alternate solution.

A very very interesting blind test that i never seen on RUclips is between a fender MIM and fender MIA with the SAME pickups, for exemple, the fat 50's. This kind of test is capable to prove or disprove that the number os pieces of the body makes difference for the tone.

One of these Shanes can't be real - he's playing right handed!

👍 note : If you power it at 18 volts its a bit “more” of a pedal. Same pedal, bit louder and sounds a tad more expanded? Worth trying it out. I’ve run it both ways. Settled at 18v.

Wow, seems like it's really pushing the amp. Can you keep it clean when you lower the volume on the pedal? Oh.. and more sustain is essentially more compression.
