Just from your video, I can tell that this is a quality watch. The fit and finish and that white dial look top notch. It doesn’t look like there is a weak link on that watch.
I totally understand what you mean by its just smooth. Had a black Triumph and had the exact same feeling as you. Watch just felt silky smooth on wrist.

I like this watch a lot - loved the lume shot and the details you pointed out which I had not noticed before - but for me the Sinn 104 white dial was my choice recently with this one as a contender. I know they are different styles but I was uncertain of the size with my 7 1/4 in wrist. I still like the watch a lot though and can get behind any company that puts out a great product like that.
So I know in your video you didn’t want to compare the Noble to the Black Bay but how do you think they compare? Recommend one or the other for a first time nice watch buyer?

Mine is supposed to be here on Monday. I actually decided to sell my Tudor BB41 to get this. I never really connected with the Tudor. I got the white dial.
It goes both ways. When I bought a Christopher Ward I was immediately charged 9% sales tax (I live in California), and before delivery was charged an additional 10% customs tax.
Looks like real value, with superb quality finish, when you don't want to be just one more guy flashing a Tudor Black Bay. But if the budget could stand it, I would buy both watches, because they have complimentary use. Phil.
I’ve got a SARB035 on a Strapcode “O” bracelet, too! It’s really hard to beat for the price we paid. This Monta looks like an outstanding watch, but I’m wondering if it’s $1200 more outstanding than our SARBs?

@@mickeylickey123 YEah, the clasp is what makes me undecided here whether to buy it or not. The dial, lume, the bracelet finish are what attracted me to this watch. Logo is also not too bad. I think for the price is pretty darn good. If Monta will remedy the clasp, I definitely will get one.
I don't own that particular Casio, but they are absolutely killing it overseas. I have eight of their "non-square" watches. Only one of the seven, as far as I can tell, was easily available in America. I put in time researching each one, and searching to find retailers. None of the seven were very expensive, but I don't plan to ever sell any of them. Quality control was high on all of them, and to a one, in my humble opinion, they punch well above their weight. I should add: All are smaller in size, but they all work on my 7" wrist. Men's dress watches used to be smaller; I'm starting to see a small move in that direction again. I have nothing against larger watches. They are like the Honda of cars: Look nice; operate well; conservative, without being boring (well, actually three of them are fairly minimalistic, which is fine with me) reasonable cost; and, dependable. I know that's not most people's cup of tea, when it comes to dress and sporty dress watches. And, that's fine. It'd be boring if we all loved the very same watch or watches. Oh, I'm not a super Casio-only fan boy, or affiliated in any way with them. I also own a Seiko SARB 035, Victorinox INOX V (not the monster; the smaller, black unisex version), Citizen Paradigm (the smaller one, of course), a Lorus field watch (the new super cheap Titanium one raved about elsewhere on YT), and a square G-SHOCK. Sorry to ramble on. I would say the same thing about all of the watches I just mentioned: All worth more to me than what I paid for them. I guess I could have summed this up by saying: Can't go wrong with a Casio. 🙂
I would buy the Monta Noble over the Tudor 1926 I think the bracelet is more sporty on the Noble. But I’m not gonna lie I love the 36mm 1926 with the blue numbers. Buy whatever you love more my friend
@@silverghost4206 of course that’s the case however polished surfaces are far more susceptible to noticeable scratches than brushed surfaces and they are also much harder to remove .
This is a very nice watch but in this price range its competing with equally nice watches that also have histories, group support, resale value and name recognition. I checked Chrono24 and not one Monta was for sale. So I have no idea how they retain value, but I suspect the answer is not well. These factors are considered by any rational watch buyer in this price range and instead of appropriately discounting the watch to compensate for the lack of these factors, they are charging the same as any other swiss watch. And I really like the brand; I hope Monta gets on the right track, I want to see it succeed.

Ben D Stowa makes great watches you gotta buy whatever you like my friend. If I could make a suggestion at that 1,000 mark check out Raymond Weil Freelancer diver it’s certainly more sporty if that’s what you want. I feel Raymond Weil doesn’t get enough love in the watch community

I like the 104 white dial, but it is too big for my taste. Classy watch though.

47mm lug to lug fits my 6.75" wrist perfectly. The clasp is my only concern.

The hour hand is a bit too short and the minute hand is a bit too long. The current configuration gives the dial an award look.
It’s nice , I couldn’t live with the polished bezel scratches will ruin the look very quickly..

Been into watches for about 2-ish months now. There's so many I want and not enough money. Monta isn't a "Microbrand" is it?
They are more boutique now. If you are new into the hobby, I recommend window shopping a ton. Then slowly experiment with some that really grab you.

I reached out to Monta to update my Triumph clasp. They tried to sell me a second bracelet for $500. Unacceptable. I have a bracelet all ready.
Influencer overhyped. Not much better than a $750-$1000 Hamilton. Return policy is ridiculous.
