Thanks for sharing this video. I rode many of these trains when I lived in East New York, Brooklyn in the 1960s. The Gate cars were on the Myrtle Ave el, the Standards were on the LL Canarsie line, the R9s on the QJ and KK line, and rode the R10s on the A to Rockaway Playland. The R10s were painted in white and blue around the time of the NY World's Fair in 64/65. Thanks for the memories. Hopefully I can make it to this event next year.
Good to see great dedication to maintaining the historical fleet. I wonder if the R32s featured in this video will be saved or not; if they are scrapped, 3350-3353 better take their place.
