- Does God exist? I’m not going to give you arguments to try to convince you that God exists, because I don’t think that’s what you need. In this video I’m explaining what I believe is the real issue for why so many people do not believe in God.

There is NOT a problem with the existence of GOD- only humans who think they know better than Him. THAT'S the problem.

If you really care about having good faith arguments you should understand the other side. At 3:50 you lost all credibility to me.
The notion that life has no meaning unless you believe in a god is sad.
I think life is beautiful because it is up to us to make our own meaning. While it’s incredibly liberating to be in charge of creating our own meaning it’s also scary, so I understand why we are skeptical to do so. I think making my life around someone else’s meaning or another being’s meaning is horrific. I’d rather be dead.

I just don't think any one or any being can be "good," while also having a level of authority over another being. EVEN if they did and were good, I think the moment they act on it, they become capital E, Evil, beings. So essentially only beings that would never act on that authority could truly be good. So scripture by nature, in my word view, is either false or our god is Evil. There isn't any way to meet this half way.
Power corrupts. Of course beings that cause suffering to one being to prevent more suffering on other beings would be okay.
I just wanted to provide a shorthand.
All creatures (humans included) should be Free.

If there is a creator (and there is), who is the source of all life, and who created us in his image and likeness, it would be logical to find meaning in him who created us and knows us. To try to find any meaning outside of that source would be misrable and misguided no matter how happy that person pretends to be. If you'd rather die than to find meaning in the source of our existence (which would be the creator himself), then you do not understand the nature of his will. And if life was just an accident and we all came into existence from absolutely nothing, then trying to find meaning would be pointless. It's nonsensical, in my opinion, to make meaning in your if there is no original source behind the origin of life. Everything is just a big "oops"
You actually say that you wouldn't like your life to revolve around another being. That's really thinking in a selfish, egocentric way, and I respect that you think that, because you still don't truly know God. When you truly love a person you would want to be with them all your life. Well, the same thing happens with God. I want to be serving and always please him all my life because I know him. I know that he is good, just, merciful, he is perfect. I love him, and I am more than pleased that I do not exist on my own. I don't have to argue that I myself give meaning to my existence, humans have always believed themselves to be the protagonist of their existence, everything revolves around him and him and him and him. but with God your life becomes simply... more beautiful. The problems will not go away, but now I finally have the entire meaning that had been missing from my life in my heart, now I understand the suffering in the world, the good and the evil, the injustice. Now everything makes sense. It calms me that my life depends on the person I love the most.

Your thoughts would be understandable if you prove them. Examples of things you need to prove for your take to be respectful and meaningful. * 1) " I know that he is good, just, merciful, he is perfect." * 2) with God your life becomes simply... more beautiful. These ideas SOUND good, but without being proven true it's all kind of non-sense. If your happy though, good for you! Do you!
You are really onto something. I want to believe that God exists because I feel love in my heart for Him. Because I have a very strong desire to be like Him.
I see all of the evil that Satan exemplifies & I desire just the opposite. But it would be very hard to explain this to someone who doesn’t feel that strong desire in their heart to do that which is good & loving.
I don’t know how you would approach that, you definitely have your work cut out for you🙏🏼
