I found a really good one (compared to any others Ive played) and I love it, seems to sound way better than it should. Or maybe they are hidden gems I just didnt know about?
Killer intro! The rain thing. I think it comes from growing up in a place where you were always praying for it! It’s come to subconsciously mean relief! I still love it when it rains. Watch the weather radar a bit too obsessively perhaps.

That thing you talked about a few videos back - I learned to improvise by learning licks in all of the different keys as well! P.S.S. Your intro lick on “I’m Your Man” was one of the things that I remember sitting and rewinding a zillion times to learn. It opened a lot of doors for me!
I feel that way about the rain as well Jedd. Here in Austin we can go the whole summer without rain, so when it happens it's a relief. I bet that feeling for you comes from growing up in a dry climate. Beautiful intro music man.

Basically like light switches for the pickups. On/off toggles. 60s made in Japan guitars with absolutely amazing pickups (IMO) mine has a neck as thick as a Louisville Slugger and believe the body to be mahogany. Very light guitar, super easy to play and really sounds sweet! Mine has toggles for each p/u along with V/V - T/T
Beautiful playing on an interesting looking guitar. We need the rain bad. A professional sax player and friend died in the Gatlinburg wild fires back in 2016.🎉

My mate back in the 60s had one of those Airstream/Teisco guitars. Similar muddy sunburst, but more of a greenish muddy. Four pickups and two banks of rocker switches. He got it from his Dad, that was around 1968.

Being from Michigan I tend to agree, since rain just kinda bums me out unless it’s a seriously dry year.
