Feminist Frequency created a problem in an industry it had no stakes in, and sold the solution to people who didn't do their own research and didn't know any better. But now, after-all this time, after a decade, people are noticing. The general public, which is a majority that's slowly breaking silence, is getting not only tired, but exhausted from it. And, it shows with their time-invested in other media, where-in the result The Acolyte isn't anywhere near the ratings board for the currently most viewed show. Like with Disney (I haven't read anything they've punished, there are some books in interested in), anyways with Disney, watch Mando, tbob, Ahsoka, and the ST. How much do you like that timeline? And I think the quality is similar levels of inconsistent.

@workingjellyfish hopefully once Kathleen Kennedy is gone in 2025 (hopefully they don't give her a new contract) we should see a restart of starwars written by real fans that don't want to just make a story for them selfs cause star wars is everyones baby not just lesly and her point of view. Now if they had made a show actually about a siths acolyte that yes would be a evil show cause siths that would be cool not what ever the first season was and now they claim the show to be romance as if Ani didn't just do that. Sorry for the long comment but things have to be said and stop this narrative that if we call them out we are homaphobs or hate women but times change and we can clearly see nobody truly care who one love as long as it's not pushed on to everyone around and in everyone's face. Again sorry and again fantastic video

because he's very old. do you want the IP tied up in probate for decades? He had to pass it on to someone. It's SAD he couldn't be bothered to put together a better option than Disney. We need a way to properly preserve things like this. Personally I think Disney strong armed him into it somehow, I don't know how, but they forced him to sell it to them. He could have setup a trust and had some way for fans to elect directors or something, something new. Disney has ALWAYS been garbage, and remains so today.

The CEO of Disney, Bob Iger talks about this is his autobiography. He basically wined and dined Lucas into selling it to Disney, promising to protect Lucasfilm and its legacy.
Lucas’ personal reasons were just that, he was getting older and wanted to focus on other things (family and smaller film projects). There are multiple other factors, of course, like the critical reception of the prequels. But that’s the short version.
