One of my currently favourite pedals I have. Only knew lowpass gate from modular world, but on the guitar it's like extending the dynamic possibilities of the instrument as you play softer the sound is more darker than usual and it gives it a bigger tonal range. Awesome pedal.
I like this a lot. Had warped vinyl ii and sold it, bought it again and sold it again. Have an instant lofi junky now, but might sell and I’m eyeballing both the the Meet Maude and the Pladask Täken. Great videos. Liked, subscribed.
@@AlexPriceMusician I’m thinking if get the taken I could replicate the MM sound by putting the lofi junky in the effects loop. That way I don’t get stuck with the Maude’s limited capability. On second thought, if I’m trying to get the pladask to sound like MM, I might as well just get the Maude.
Those were some nice tones. I like how smooth they were. I just started exploring the Autoswell Effect on my HX Stomp, and am surprised how much I like it. Even though I don't own any of their pedals, JPTR FX makes some of the most amazing effects I've ever heard. The "Fernweh" is a good example. Thanks
What is the chord you play at 3:01? Looks like a G major triad with a Bb root. Are you playing the root note with your ring finger or pinky? Really tough chord for me to finger properly. Great chorus sound btw, loving it on my setup with the SW.
I have seen a guy who had two shallow waters each running seperately on two stereo circuits and then joining back together as one signal chain before reverb and delay.
how in the hell do you avoid the hiss at low LPG setting??? i’m trying to get rid of it, it’s a massive annoyance for me, i’ve seen knobs video on the shallow water as well and i don’t hear any hiss… how do you guys do it? 😂
I've used a simple one spot wall wort (I think that's what I used for this video) and haven't had any issues. I've also use the True Tone CS6, Cioks DC7, and Voodoo Labs 4x4 supplies with it.
I wasn’t expecting this pedal to be such an incredible envelope filter also.
Love the Shallow water and the Meet Maude ....they take you somewhere else. Even on settings I wouldn't normally use. Love these boxes.

Nice playing and tones, man. Cheers.
excellent demo, great sounds and playing
I enjoy your playing. Nice demo

Go for it!

Great playing…great pedal!

I need to try JPTR. I've heard a lot about them.
@@AlexPriceMusician There are some good demos of them on "60 Cycle Hum."
Dude you are getting some amazing tones.. have the same amp. The express are such great amps.
Yeah, one of my favorites! I usually just use the “clean” channel with the drive cranked a bit.
Forgot about the peddle, swept up in the string-tone. If you made an album of this kind of thing, I would buy it yesterday.

With an Ab on the 6th fret D string as well. It's Bb13(b9)
what makes you prefer the warped vinyl over the shallow water?
Tysm!
What are the settings for the chorus demo?
What’s the blacked out pedal next to the Shallow Water?
Edit: JHS Lucky Cat?
im intrigued to find out what two shallow waters will sound like stacked. different settings on each.
Would love to try that sometime

Tell me about that pedal board and stand… what is it and where can I get one???
Sweeeeeet!
thanks, do the shallow water settings in the vid correspond with the sounds at that moment?
Yep! There's a quick B roll shot in each playing sample displaying the settings. Sorry if that wasn't clear in the video
Have you tried the Vongon UlraSheer, I bet you will like it, cheers
Haven’t even heard of it. I’ll check it out thanks!
Bro what are setting for chorus. Damm!🔥
Should be on the screen at some point during that segment! I always try to show the settings

Did you adjust the bias or boost/pad trimmers inside the box?
You should check out the farm pedals fly agaric phaser
Would love to try one of the Farm pedals someday! They’re pretty expensive
What power do you use on the SW to keep it from going crazy noisy?

What about tone sucks? Does it change your core tone?
Yeah, for the better, it really give it a warm analog type of sound.
