Final thought- White Horse seems like the flip side of the same coin as Love Story. The "I'm not your princess, this ain't a fairytale" alone gives me that vibe, where Love Story is her fantasy about love, with White Horse is her realizing it was just that- a fantasy. two hours of pure comfort and absolute joy. My 20th birthday is tomorrow, Fearless came out when i was 7 and it was the first CD i ever got. I have suchhh vivid memories of listening to love story, you belong with me, fifteen, fearless, white hours and breathe specifically and i just can’t believe that we are here and the re-recordings are out. I know like you girls and so many who watch your videos, Taylor has just been this constant in our lives growing up and i get absolute goosebumps thinking about all of the phases and situations and life experiences i have gone through since fearless first came out and being able throughout these years being able to relate them back to songs on that record. And now being almost 20 and listening to 31 year old Taylor singing these songs she wrote all those years ago is just so so so special. This was perfection! Having grown up with Taylor Swift for the past 13 years of my life, since Fearless was released, I continue to still be the biggest fan of hers. I have related to and learnt from her for so much of my life, and although I haven’t experienced romantic love before, I feel that I have in some way through her. I cannot get over how she wrote an incredibly perfect album at such a young age, and how she continues to do so to this day. What I find most attacked by is that she describes losing that Fearlessness and confidence she once had when going into a relationship, but also naïveté. So as it goes on and she experiences first heartbreak she’s more guarded but learns more about what she wants. So in a sense being fearless and romanticizing relationships was necessary for growth and rediscovering that confidence through music. At least, that’s my take on it. I didn’t become a Swiftie until era 1989 and for whatever reason didn’t give her older albums a chance until this past year and I’m loving your breakdowns of these albums, especially the re-recordings! Thanks for giving this new Swiftie some context! Love you guys!

"Love Story" was the first song of hers I ever heard, and I loved it- I just regret not stopping to think, "You know, I love this song- Taylor seems pretty cool... Maybe, I should check out the rest of the album." I liked Taylor Swift for so long without realizing I'd actually love her even more if I went deeper into her music.

Ok so at 1:21:00 Taylor shared a story that she and some girls from her school initially planned to go to the mall together but on the last minute they bailed out on her saying all these reasons why each of them couldn’t go. So Taylor went with her mom instead. And then when they got to the mall, she saw the girls there! So she cried cos she figured they lied to her aka they didn’t want her to go so her mom decided that they go to another mall which was so much farther away so she could forget about the girls 🥺😢

You guys should listen to The Ringer podcast series Every Single Album: Taylor Swift!! They talk about how fearless and 1989 were so loved partly because they have a lot songs to sing in groups or with friends and I just love that concept!!

two hours of pure comfort and absolute joy. My 20th birthday is tomorrow, Fearless came out when i was 7 and it was the first CD i ever got. I have suchhh vivid memories of listening to love story, you belong with me, fifteen, fearless, white hours and breathe specifically and i just can’t believe that we are here and the re-recordings are out.
I know like you girls and so many who watch your videos, Taylor has just been this constant in our lives growing up and i get absolute goosebumps thinking about all of the phases and situations and life experiences i have gone through since fearless first came out and being able throughout these years being able to relate them back to songs on that record. And now being almost 20 and listening to 31 year old Taylor singing these songs she wrote all those years ago is just so so so special.

This was perfection! Having grown up with Taylor Swift for the past 13 years of my life, since Fearless was released, I continue to still be the biggest fan of hers. I have related to and learnt from her for so much of my life, and although I haven’t experienced romantic love before, I feel that I have in some way through her. I cannot get over how she wrote an incredibly perfect album at such a young age, and how she continues to do so to this day. Thank you so incredibly much Bonny and Em, and I actually cannot wait to se your reactions to Taylor’s version ❤️ I hope that you are both having the most magical day xx

fun fact, if u watch that video of taylor and colbie recording breathe, taylor said it's not about a boy but its about someone who she had to say godbye to even though she didn't want to. there's also this cool moment of taylor asking colbie to sing the "im sorry" backup vocals cause that's what she meant when writing the song but somehow never got to say the words cause it hurt so much

What I find most attacked by is that she describes losing that Fearlessness and confidence she once had when going into a relationship, but also naïveté. So as it goes on and she experiences first heartbreak she’s more guarded but learns more about what she wants. So in a sense being fearless and romanticizing relationships was necessary for growth and rediscovering that confidence through music. At least, that’s my take on it.
I didn’t become a Swiftie until era 1989 and for whatever reason didn’t give her older albums a chance until this past year and I’m loving your breakdowns of these albums, especially the re-recordings! Thanks for giving this new Swiftie some context! Love you guys!
