It does look like a impressive system and if the only trouble I’d replacing cooper drainage heads can you not just replace with a plastic drain cover. Do they have to be made from copper.

They are made from copper, so that the roots do not grow into the bottom and clog up the pipes.

hey guys, i want to get a 4x30l , but cant decide between the AERO and the RAIN system. are both equally good when it comes to yields? and which one is easier to maintain?

Hey I had sane question last year, I went for the rain lid system as I think when you grow in aero the plants have nothing to support they root weight so I decided on rain system which I’m just setting up for summer

Won't the copper drains react with the nutes?

Over time the copper drain covers will become oxidised. We recommend changing the drain cover every 6 months.

@ALIENHydroponics then shouldn't the system be cheaper
.since we have to replace a part that oxidizes over time that can't be good for your ec introducing oxidize metal in your grow solutuons.. u asking alot of money and then I have to turn around and spend even more money every 6 months... ... that's a turn off.

@@ALIENHydroponicson the other hand.... that new v system is nice.. and I don't mine spending the 2k to not have to ever worry about water temp really less pumps and it being natural aspirted. Making it way more energy efficient not just for your plants but the environment and saving your customer money.... hell yeah u deserve that 2k.. gladly pay u that...

@chrisjrob84 I've seen one of these working on display in a grow shop. They come with fabric pot inserts and sit up off the drain due to the ridges on the inside of the pot. I wasn't told you had to change the covers, but it can be used in a drain to waste style, so you're not recirculating the nutrients. Maybe this will allow you to get longer out of drain covers. It does look like an impressive piece of kit. I'm using a drain to waste system and this is like the ferrari of drain to waste. Probably some flaws on the recirculating aspect though.
