I'm saying it now, this will be bad. I think you can tell just by how little this looks and feels like Star Wars, the visual language is completely different and the entire time it felt like a completely different franchise, even the shot of them entering hyperspace felt off.
@@TheTattorack The funny thing is, the Acolyte probably still made Disney money just because of the sheer amount of publicity it got. No publicity is bad publicity (in the case of something that can't be cancelled). I think this show will just be meh and not even trigger people enough to hate watch it, it'll just exist, and people will say: "well, it's not the worst thing ever", and ironically it probably might be a little better than Acolyte but not make nearly the same amount of views.
@supermario2044 Acolyte made zero money. It cost 180 million dollars not including marketing and was the lowest viewed Star Wars show ever released. Disney+ does not make money. It's still like 11 billion dollars in the hole.
Disney, you have to do something about the problematic people in Star Wars fandom. The safety of the fandom is compromised when you allow Reylos and shippers to go unchecked.
I like that decision more. It's unique in Star Wars, plus there isn't much imo that we haven't seen before. It's a nice change of pace and feels fresh because of it.
Because disney was too focus on building off of the established saga to be creative and play around in the star war galaxy. But now they're starting to experiment.
It's a massive Galaxy, and we've seen everything from small village outposts to planetary cities, law of averages says at least some world has suburban Neighborhoods on it.
@@WeAreTheBentusi yeah but the suburbs are something that are very unique to modern America and haven't really been developed any where else in human history. also they most likely won't be around for much longer as they are terrible for city finances and housing prices. there is so much possibility when it comes to environmental design in Star Wars but..... this feels like they made it a suburb just so kids (whose parents can afford galaxies edge) would relate with it more.
They're making it more and more realistic in the environment and costume designers, and it's not supposed to be that way. This looks like some show set in the future, rather than in a whole other galaxy. It almost doesn't look like star wars

Looks entertaining. How did spiders get into a sealed spaceship?
1:07 Fun fact: That little creature is called Fuzzball, and it's from CAPTAIN EO of 1986, confirming this new addition to the Star Wars universe.
Also. That blue elephant kid looks a lot more like hooter from captain EO than it does to Max Rebo

A positive post. That is refreshing!
why does every star wars show besides andor feel like it's only meant to lure kids into galaxy's edge

A Star Wars version of the suburbs? That’s interesting. I despise 90% of Disney Star Wars but judging from the trailer this looks fine for what it's supposed to be which i'm assuming is a kids show. I'm sure Disney will find a way to insult it's audience some how though.
The same people saying they’re hyped will probably be the same people saying they knew it was gonna be trash from the start after it comes out 😂
I'm saying it now, this will be bad. I think you can tell just by how little this looks and feels like Star Wars, the visual language is completely different and the entire time it felt like a completely different franchise, even the shot of them entering hyperspace felt off.
Nobody was saying they were hyped about The Acolyte.
Or at least, not after the first trailer dropped.

This reminds me of classic Disney. An adventure style show with a bunch of kids.
