ALIEN Hydroponic's tech team show you how to expand a coco brick of 70/30 coco/crush substrate. The EasyFeed® Cannamix™ coco bricks take the effort out of filling fabric pots with bags of heavy medium. To hydrate the substrate, place the brick at the bottom of the fabric pots and add water. The coco swells to the top of the pot but does not swell sideways, resulting in a perfectly square pot.

Is there anyone here who has had success with the system?
Is there anyone here who has had success with the system?
Gibt es hier jemanden, der mit dem System Erfolg hatte?
Is it perhaps better to adjust the watering interval to the growth phase of the plant? To say in general terms 30 minutes off and 30 seconds on seems questionable to me. I would look forward to feedback.
As the roots are suspended in the air overwatering does not occur. Cloning systems quite often run with pumps on 24/7
@@ryanchappell9299the manual says if you plan not watering when the light is off you should spray one time. Makes sense. No light, no photosynthesize. So the roots "don't" take water when the light is off. what do you mean? Do you have the system or do you work with aeroponics?
FAKE - AEROPONIK
No nano aeroponik (fog). Its high pressure aeroponics.
can be used without the timer?
What dimensions should a grow box have? (4 buckets plus 1 for conditioners) so that the mixing bucket is outside?
1x1 meter for the 20L 4 pot system
I'm struggling to find a real world review of someone using the silver aero? It would be nice to see what feed intervals etc people are using before laying own money out. Is there an owners forum or simular? Also just finer points like draining & cleaning the system out, type of feed used. If its better to recirculate of just dump run off. Someone using a system in a tent of usual sizes. 1.5 x 1.5 , 1.4 x 1.4 etc, actually doing a grow of some sort. Like using one of the 15L 4 pot in a 1.5 x1.5. If there is no real world review, please Mr Alien hydro, send a decent reviewer a system out with a set tent size for that system. Or just do one yourself. After starting looking around at full systems, Alien do look to be a cut above the rest. If your looking to move over from soil, you would need a video to refer too, just to hit the ground running. Or a forum to lean on. The idea of having only water as a waste product is very appealing.
Did you get it? I'm somehow afraid that it will go wrong
Is it safe to overfill and have plants sat in water for a few hours until its absorbed/evaporated? Obviously would sit them in it too long as it'll starve roots of oxygen and kill plant, but is a few hours ok?
Please email info@alienhydroponics.co.uk with your enquiry and the team will be happy to help
dont buy its shit leaking water
Really where from ? And this is with the aero system yes? Most said it easy to get rot root that’s what put me off this system
Hello guys!! It s possible to send to spain?

hey guys, i want to get a 4x30l , but cant decide between the AERO and the RAIN system. are both equally good when it comes to yields? and which one is easier to maintain? Gr J
Hey I had sane question last year, I went for the rain lid system as I think when you grow in aero the plants have nothing to support they root weight so I decided on rain system which I’m just setting up for summer

this looks great i`ve been looking to get feed back on this system thorough various forums but can only seemed find things like "oh its expensive" i already know that.. i need to know if its any good.
Спасибо большое за то что вы делаете это очень круто!!! 😊😊😊😊
Hey I was thinking about buying rain system but reading your reviews it seems like the copper drains and the fact it’s not chiller ready seem to be the big floors. Just seeing if anyone can update reviews share there experience with it
Also root rot but I assume with a chiller and root protection nutrients this would not be a problem
If nutrients will react to copper drain head can you just not replace with plastic ones they are cheap I would have no problem replacing them or do they have to be copper
copper will burn and trim roots as they encroach the drainage system. stops clogging
It does look like a impressive system and if the only trouble I’d replacing cooper drainage heads can you not just replace with a plastic drain cover. Do they have to be made from copper.
They are made from copper, so that the roots do not grow into the bottom and clog up the pipes.
DID NOT OUT PERFORM the alien RDWC system in any way. Had constant root issues with the aero having no chiller option. Also roots get to the bottom of the pipes causing clogs. Roots over saturated as no clear instruction when and how frequent to spray the roots. Also had issues with my sprinklers after 3 weeks causing me to get replacements more money down the drain. Upgraded to this thinking it would out perform the RDWC or the easy feed but I was very disappointed with the final results. Ended up selling this system for the half the rrp
There are clear instructions in the manual and online regarding the watering cycle times. 30 seconds on 30 minutes off is recommended. Sprinklers do not usually clog unless they dry out between crops. RDWC plants grow faster in veg but both systems should produce a similar yield. We're always happy to provide support by phone or email.

И это всё для 4 горшков😃
Can yall do a video on the vsystem?
Why dont you guys sell single buckets anymore ? Its way more easy to work with
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 we definitely need that
How do you do a ppm / e.c run off test if you don’t water from top ?
You don't. This isn't necessarily a better way to feed, but a more convenient way.
Better than rdwc?
At that diameter, I would expect an ongoing problem with root clogging the return pipes and flooding the buckets.
This system has now been discontinued. You can find further information regarding our current RDWC systems via the following link: www.alienhydroponics.co.uk/systems/choosing-the-right-system/rdwc-systems/
I love this system 3 week veg 2 and half box 📦 😍 8 plant 😀
That's great to hear!
Bought a rdwc but now I want this
Need sponsorship with you
Hi Curtis, please send your proposal to info@alienhydroponics.co.uk, and a member of the ALIEN team will come back to you.
Have the same issue as many people around with this system…. Root rot… already ruined 2 rounds. First 2-3 weeks its running fine, but after when the roots hit the bottom of bucket, rot starting, also the big issue of this system is the roots grow right in to the pipe down there.
Roots turning brown is a sign of pythium. Please check your water temperature is below 20 degrees.
Get yourself a waterchiller 😊

Won't the copper drain react with the nutes though?
Over time the copper drain covers will become oxidised. We recommend changing the drain cover every 6 months.
I like the RDWC system but the Aero system seems like it would be an easier one for me.
Thank you for your message 👽 Do you prefer to grow in soil or 100% hydro?

@ALIENHydroponics then shouldn't the system be cheaper .since we have to replace a part that oxidizes over time that can't be good for your ec introducing oxidize metal in your grow solutuons.. u asking alot of money and then I have to turn around and spend even more money every 6 months... ... that's a turn off.
@@ALIENHydroponicson the other hand.... that new v system is nice.. and I don't mine spending the 2k to not have to ever worry about water temp really less pumps and it being natural aspirted. @chrisjrob84 I've seen one of these working on display in a grow shop. They come with fabric pot inserts and sit up off the drain due to the ridges on the inside of the pot. I wasn't told you had to change the covers, but it can be used in a drain to waste style, so you're not recirculating the nutrients. Maybe this will allow you to get longer out of drain covers. It does look like an impressive piece of kit. I'm using a drain to waste system and this is like the ferrari of drain to waste. Probably some flaws on the recirculating aspect though.

Epic I would love to try this setup 🇬🇧👊
Send an email to info@alienhydroponics.co.uk. The team we will be happy to assist you.
Could you not just make this a drain to waste system and not have the depleted nutrients go back to the stock tank? Sure, you would use more nutrients, but the nutrients would always be full strength and correct p.h. .
Sure, you can set the system to "run to waste". We have compiled a blog which outlines the features of the RAIN system here 👉 www.alienhydroponics.co.uk/blog/flood-and-drain-how-is-this-different-from-our-rain-hydroponic-system/
