Great work and great design... I'm not a big fan of the materials used though... I would have used an accent to make it pop between the block caps and the paver.. Maybe like a copthorne by unilock... I always try my hardest to convince my clients to put an accent.
That lower feature at 2:18 I think that would have looked better as a garden feature and would have saved a lot of time and money. Was that up for consideration when planning it out?
Nice job! is it because the fire pit is gas burning the reason why it was allowed so close to the house? I have a natural/wood burning fire pit and it had to be at least 30' from the house.
Open flame fire pit, wood burning, tends to have a 30ft min distance from permanent structure. Controlled flame, gas can be closer....been my experience in the past
Hello👋🙋♂️ there once again Amazing and very interesting video🎥 as always. Super like👌👌👌 project Good information very helpful🎥 Do keep posting Warm regards and best👍💯wishes The UnknownManCub 👍😎👨🏭
We did. Allan block classic for the base walls, courtyard for the upper, free standing walls around the fire pit and the fire pit itself. We used a different block for the bar.
There are several drains inside the fire pit. One main drain that daylights outside the main patio wall and 4 small ones that lead from the sunken area, into the drain that I under the fire pit.
+Nick Nush there are drains that lead into the actual fire pit where there is a center basin to collect water and discharges out the side of the lower patio.
Unfortunately, House design and patio/landscape design is not compatible. There is NO curve on the house to match. Unnecessary investment. Good workmanship but money is wasted. Simplicity is the best.
Yes, we always use a geo textile fabric between the earth and our class 6 fill. It helps stabilize the ground and keeps our base from migrating into the earth. Its not very expensive.
at 5:11, just out of curiosity, why do the wall joints line up vertically? Looks like you used a few smaller blocks or cut some. Was there a specific reason for that?
After one winter it will look like a collar all pile of crap especially with the trees leave their decaying leaves everywhere staining the bricks. Them there is the green moss that starts growing also. Too much upkeep!
technical33 easily over a $100,000 dollar job when I do jobs similar to this size I charge 85,000-120,000 depending on soil, grade, labor, blocks, sub base, accessibility, equipment. But price will change depending on where you are located.
excellent work..The look of all pavers is a completely cold manufactured look. You need to mix SOME natural stone in there to bring this to life. This looks cold and has zero character no matter how much design and curves you apply, pavers just don't cut it when it comes to look and feel of the material.
Thanks for the compliment and the criticism. First off, I happen to prefer the look of all pavers and matching blocks. If you look closely, there is a 60/40 blend of of 2 different colors in the pavers as well as different blocks used in the bar area as well. But ultimately it came down to what client wanted, since they are the one with the check book. Here is a look of the same patio after it was decorated and furnished. ruclips.net/video/5PYKN6RCyFc/видео.html
This guy don’t know what he is talking about. This is as nice as it gets. I love the look that all pavers gives. Looks super clean. Trying to add natural stones everywhere just clutters it up and makes it look old.
Excellent work!
Good job looks beautiful
Great build
Wow...How I wish all contractors had the skills, experience and pride of workmanship that you have...Perfection. That’s what it’s about...
+Michael Tranchina thanks for the compliment, we appreciate it.
+Michael Tranchina thank you

A good example of paving done properly with an excellent finish. Well done 👍
Backyard goals! Great job.

Absolutely beautiful!

Very very nice!👌wow
So Yes please🙋♀️😁
My home is next!
What a work of art. Beautiful
This is very well done and impressive.
Beautiful! I especially love the corbels under the bar top. Super nice touch! 🏆
It couldn't be done better. excellent job guys👌👌
Holy crap, this look exactly what i wanted to do to my backyard. My outdoor kitchen would extend out from my shed.
That is beautiful.
Well done!!!!
Absolutely stunning! Great job guys.
Awesome quality & craftsmanship guys!
beautiful work loved
Amazing. I hired a handyman to do my front bricks and it looks so trash.
Wow only 400 hrs , respect
Divided by all the guys that worked on site
Beautiful 😍
Excellent job, love the fire pit and the bar area, very professional.
It's the Sooper... Nice.
Man, that turned out great...
Effing Beautiful... I'd watch the full video un edited if its out there..

Beautiful
THATS. A. LOT. OF. CUTS.
Thats the problem, these builds are great but few can afford the price of materials!
That lower feature at 2:18 I think that would have looked better as a garden feature and would have saved a lot of time and money. Was that up for consideration when planning it out?
Looks nice. That’s must’ve been a $20000 job
I love it ❤️❤️❤️❤️👏
Nice
Wow !!!
Wow!! Beautiful!! How much did this job cost?
Probably about $25,000! Lol
great job! terrific, ideal cost approximately please???? include the covid discount
buen diseño
Honest question. How does the fire pit area drain rain water. Throught mortar lines or a designated spout?
Nice job! is it because the fire pit is gas burning the reason why it was allowed so close to the house? I have a natural/wood burning fire pit and it had to be at least 30' from the house.
Open flame fire pit, wood burning, tends to have a 30ft min distance from permanent structure. Controlled flame, gas can be closer....been my experience in the past
how much would that cost? half the price of the house?
Can you build a ramp deck like this as well
what a shame that you have to sit on that patio and see houses next door and a street. the deserves a much nicer view. that’s for sure
Not bad ☺

Is there a reason for leaving the PVC under the pavers? I thought they should be removed before installation!
The "pvc" is actually 1" metal conduit and it was removed prior to installing the pavers.
Nice work. Did you pour concrete under wall fir base?
6" of 3/4 granite
Did you use allen block?
We did. Allan block classic for the base walls, courtyard for the upper, free standing walls around the fire pit and the fire pit itself. We used a different block for the bar.
I love that look. Its hard to get allen block in ga.. once i saw what you did i changed my design for my patio... great work......
For a project like this, what is estimated price? I am in NC and looking at a design similar to this for our backyard
Very nice job. Just one question. How did you solve the drainage? Especially at the sunken patio with wall? I could not see any drainpipe...
There are several drains inside the fire pit. One main drain that daylights outside the main patio wall and 4 small ones that lead from the sunken area, into the drain that I under the fire pit.
@@decorativelandscapeborders4308 Thank you. Again, amazing.
Do you have to worry about rain water pooling in the sunken fire place area? Or what do you do to combat that issue?
There are drains in the fire pit
Doesn’t go well with the house. All cool tones up against a warm red brick and tan siding.
Nice work. Which paver colors were used in the 60/40 blend? Thanks
How much? $60,000ish?
Hope you charged at least $30,000-$35,000. That's a lot of work
400 hours. 1,400 sq feet it was at minimum $50,000
Wow. I wonder how much that job costs..
Perhaps more than the house is worth
$50,000 +
measurement of seat please,
How much did all this cost?
What type of licensing do you need to install stamped concrete?
why don't your Capstone overhang the wall block around the edge?
+Tim C the style of block we used, allan block, has a lip that interlocks with the block and cap.
Hey what program did you use to make the design for the paver patio.
Autocad and sketchup
I guess that's gonna cost 100k?
I was wondering that myself. With all that work I would think it’s north of 100K.
where does the water go to on the lower fire pit landing? Is there any drainage on that fire pit area?
+Nick Nush there are drains that lead into the actual fire pit where there is a center basin to collect water and discharges out the side of the lower patio.
@@decorativelandscapeborders4308
good idea!
+Nick Nush yes, drains in the bottom carry water out the side of the lower patio
Unfortunately, House design and patio/landscape design is not compatible.
There is NO curve on the house to match.
Unnecessary investment.
Good workmanship but money is wasted.
Simplicity is the best.
How much was that??
Did you guys lay down any geo fabric? I am semi new to this and was wondering why it seems som companies do and some dont
Yes, we always use a geo textile fabric between the earth and our class 6 fill. It helps stabilize the ground and keeps our base from migrating into the earth. Its not very expensive.
Nice work-Too bad they live by a busy road. No scenery.
Ballpark cost for this exact project?
David McFeaters 40k
BikerFail16 how’d you come up with that?
yo mama I do this kind of stuff. Trust me it’s every bit of that. Probably more after looking at the video again.
at 5:11, just out of curiosity, why do the wall joints line up vertically? Looks like you used a few smaller blocks or cut some. Was there a specific reason for that?

What's something like this run $ ?
Sorry, out of respect to our clients, we won't publicly discuss the cost.
I understand and didn't want an exact dollar amount just wondering ballpark budget number.

yeah somthing similar to that in the DMV area would only cost around 40-50 i think 85-120 is a lil crazy.
