Does your raised patio have a slope? Confused as to how your retaining wall and your patio are level if your retaining wall is level. Will be doing a raised patio in 3 weeks and wanted to know how your raised patio and retaining wall are level. Looks great.
That is a great question. If its a big raised patio i will pitch everything to the middle and use a center drain that way the walls around are all level. This raised patio is so small that i just put a very small slope on the wall that isn’t noticeable by eye. I dropped it 1” over 14’. We also didn’t polysand behind the grill to allow for drainage down into the open graded stone.
