A lovely story about Michael Mando (aka Nacho, aka Vic from Orphan Black). He'd never seen Breaking Bad, but he ended up in a bar where they were playing the series finale on a big screen. He said he watched everyone watching it, and they were all riveted. So when the end credit came up - BY VINCE GILLIGAN - he said, "I want to work for that guy someday." A few days later he got a call from his agent saying Vince Gilligan had a new show with a part he'd be great for, and he said, "I want it." No script, no character description, he just knew he had to be a part of it. Lucky for us all. 😊

Loving this so far! This might just be my favorite show of all time, so it's really nice to see people fall in love with it like I did.
Also really nice to see Jimmy trying an honest living, he's doing his best as a normal public lawyer and even tried to refuse Nacho's "offer", not that he made it easy to do so.
Quite different from the Saul Goodman we see in BB, huh?

Out of those I've only seen Jaws, Jurassic Park (only the first), and the shining!

Kelsea!!! Just watched your first two vids for BCS. Excellent. Subscribed, notifications, and liked. I will be checking in on the regular. "This Vic character... If they've already said it, let me know. For now he's jut Vic in my mind." That character's name is Nacho. And believe me, after not very long from now you'll likely be thinking of Michal Mando as Nacho, not Vic, for the rest of your life.

Kelsea, as others have pointed out, 'Vic' is called 'Nacho' in 'Better Call Saul' [BCS] -- full name 'Ignacio Varga'. You keep referring back to the scene from 'Breaking Bad' [BB] where Saul says 'Put a dollar in my pocket', but in that scene he also mentioned two characters from BCS, one you have already met -- Nacho -- and one you will meet much later (whom I won't name for fear some might deem it a spoiler). Also, one of the guys in the desert scene (where we first meet Nacho) is 'No Doze', whom Tuco killed in BB (Season One, Episode Seven). Tuco also mentioned Gonzo (who died when a junkyard car fell on him and trapped his arm -- in BB, Season Two, Episode One) in the run up to the desert scene.

Vic is Ignacio aka Nacho
Raymond Cruz as Tuco is a scary guy, isn’t he??? 😂😂😂 I always see him as intimidating AF! He’s in “TRAINING DAY,” with Denzel. And he’s scary as hell. I remember him being scary as nails in BB that’s for sure! It’s Those eyes!
I mean I wouldn’t F#€£ with him, that’s for sure!!!! “Oh u want this?? Here you go.” 😊😊😂
He's terrifying in BB! in the most erratic way possible!! Lol

More cut and paste laziness from me, for the algorithm. Michael Mando plays Ignacio "Nacho" Varga and says the showrunners allowed him to develop Nacho's character as he thought appropriate, so he incorporated superficial traits from his Orphan Black character Victor Schmidt. Obviously, Mando left OB to play Nacho, thus accounting for Vic's disappearance at the end of season two, where we last sight him in the back of the van with Angie when Donnie surprises them, and says, "don't ever come near me or my family again." To the detriment of OB, Vic signs off with a peace sign. OB's loss became BCS's gain. After losing his finger to a guillotine and getting impaled by a nail gun, and smashing his face on a coffee table, perhaps Michael thought it safer to become a drug runner in BCS. 😁
