"I'm a little bit confused why the cops chased Jimmy down. Do they really chase down lawyers like that when they're requested by someone?" When Jimmy was calling Nacho from the pay phone, the cops already had Nacho in custody. So they likely were monitoring/tapping his phone, and traced Jimmy's call to the pay phone. "[Mike] seemed kind of annoyed by those other cops... He seemed like really put off by the cops. So I'm curious if there's a reason to that, and if that reason matters. But he did not seem to be a fan of them." Yup. It's complicated. And you know that by now if you're in Season 2 already :) "I have got a lot of faith in this guy who played Vic in Orphan Black." The relationship between Jimmy and Kim is top for me, the development of it as well as each one as a character, especially Kim, shows some of the best writing I have seen in a series, truly superlative. It seems a crime to me that they haven't won any Emmys, especially with the last season.
Ya I'm only in season 2 but I love them so much so far, both individually and together. And I'm so excited to see how they develop!

Before Bob Odenkirk was Saul Goodman / Jimmy McGill, he used to be a writer for Saturday Night Live back in the late 80s (as was Conan O'Brien in that era).
After that he was a writer and performer for The Ben Stiller Show, which was an early 90s FOX sketch comedy show that was cancelled too early (it won an Emmy after it got cancelled 😂)..
then Bob co-headlined an HBO sketch show called MR. SHOW, which Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan was a big fan of... and was the reason he thought of Bob for the Saul Goodman role. Mr. SHOW is a cult classic... very "90s edgy" and weird.. but some hilarious bits on it

@@KelseasComments Yeah. Mr. Show is absolutely classic, and completely INSANE. Seriously. It's outta control and not for everyone. For me, it's the best sketch comedy show in the history of sketch comedy shows. Wildly creative and hilarious. Occasionally brilliant even. And while Dan mentioned Odenkirk's SNL stint, he didn't mention that it was Odenkirk that wrote Farley's motivational speaker, "in a van down by the river" sketch. Odenkirk is seriously already a national treasure as far as I'm concerned...
