The way Dre and Cube showed themselves in the movie is not 100% accurate. Cube was the one from South Central, not Compton. Dre played so badass, although in life he would never even try to hit a gangster, especially Suge’s friend and member of MOB Piru. The first arrest that was shown in the film was because of fines, not because Dre hit someone. All Dre did was beat up women, when he wouldn’t try to disrespect gangstas. Suge wouldn't dare touch Eazy E because Eazy E had all the gangstas in Compton and South Central behind him. Keffe D, Eazy's friend and member of Crips himself stated this in an interview. According to B.G. Knocc Out Eazy signed a contract termination with a false signature, and therefore had percentages in Dre's music and his production on Death Row. Cube and Dre lied about Eazy and other people. Eazy was also deceived by Jerry, he was not an selfish. Eazy couldn't let go of Dre, D.O.C and Michel'le because they signed a contract, unlike Cube and Arabian Prince. They also did not show other significant figures, namely DJ Speed, Arabian Prince and others. Before "Straight Outta Compton" album, Arabian Prince was one of the important figures in the group, but for the same reason he left the group and the label before Cube and Dre, trying to warn his homies about Jerry. Alonzo played a key role in the acquaintance of Eazy and Jerry, Jerry at that time worked with Dre and Yella in the group World Class Wreckin Cru. The Tupac scene is not chronologically correct. Tupac wrote "Hail Mary" after Dre left the label. So you shouldn't trust the film 100%.
Cube being played by his son… cube helped him prepare for the role so i’m sure that’s exactly how cube use to act back then you gotta remember cube was like 17-18 at the beginning he’s not the 54 year old established ice cube you see today so cut O’shea Jr some slack he did his shit

This Movie Made Eazy look bad. Theres a reason why they didnt let eazy-e's son play him. Eric was the only one in the group that was actually in a gang. Everybody else was just getting rich off of a lifestyle they didnt live in real life. Eazy also went on to put on alot of mexican rappers in LA like Kid Frost and Brownside not to mention he also was responsible for bone thugz in Harmony. The movie didnt mention any of this and made it look like the only person in the group who was actually with the business was actually a buster and the Busters were flawless individuals.
You watching the extended version I’m now noticing because some of these scenes is scenes I never saw before, the hospital scene for example I didn’t see him get married when I 1st saw this film
Dr. Dre's fantasy movie. They really made done Eazy E dirty especially for that scene when he's crying looking at the billboards he was still making money especially when he signed Bone Thugz-N-Harmony. Dre knew what he was doing not mentioning Michel'le because he would beat her. Tupac Shakur said Dre never came to the studio then diss him on Toss It Up for leaving Death Row and also using the same sample of Grandma's Hands by Bill Withers that was on Blackstreet's No Diggity.

Aftermath is the label Dre started where eventually signed Eminem and later did the partnership with Shady Records to sign 50 cent
In case you don't know, aftermath was the label Eminem joined after Dre invited him and also the same label 50 cent joined when Em found him
A good song that is a tribute to Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., and Eazy-E is called "Never Say Goodbye" by The Game
Ah yes was looking forward to this, remember anticipating this movie so much i scheduled a day off work ahead of time to see it on the first day lol
Cube being played by his son… cube helped him prepare for the role so i’m sure that’s exactly how cube use to act back then you gotta remember cube was like 17-18 at the beginning he’s not the 54 year old established ice cube you see today so cut O’shea Jr some slack he did his shit
on soul the disrespect was brazy
Relax homie she didn’t say nothing bad
The Young Bull Cube was really nowhere the OG Cube we see today so that’s a good thing
nobody here is your homie.. and you liked your own comment lmao. cornball@@saulm3252
@@Youngairmoney the young bull cubs brought no Vaseline lol
Awww. Your so cute when you cry.
The funny thing is the director of this movie who also directed Friday with Chris Tucker appears at 47:27 F Gary Gray Aftermath is the same label after this that promoted Eminem !!!
its so hurt to see many hip hop legends being gone way too soon and eazy e he is one of the best gangsta rappers and i remember eazy died from Aids amd his life should not be taken away 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
This is my favorite sing along! I was so hype in the theater. Still knew EVERY line.
Plus Eazy was not broke. He had Bone Thugs under contract, Above the Law and Mc Ren. Plus he was getting paid from anything Dr Dre produced.
Fun fact: At 6:36. The actor's name is Ashton Sanders. He is a very good actor. He also played Chrion in the Oscar Winning film Moonlight 2016 directed and written by Barry Jenkins. He and Jharrel Jerome, who is also a talented actor, is an ( Emmy Winner for playing Korey Wise in Ava Duvernay's, "When They See Us. ❤❤❤. Love your reaction, MJ WITHOUT SPIDER MAN.
Great reaction. The Eazy hospital scene gets me every time.
1:00:23 Yes, you do. Aftermath brought forth Eminem, 50 Cent, The Game, Kendrick Lamar just to name a few 🙂
Omg did you watch the Mechelle story movie that’s connected to them it’s called “ Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel'le
Ice cube actually said after they sang this song they ran but than the police actually wanted their autograph in real life.
No cap fade videos be killing me 😂😂
Did u see All eyes on me??
watched this movie recently coz I grew up on NWA despite being a 2000s baby and as a producer I relate to this movie so much and it instantly became y favorite movie😭😭. It was so good like there were some missing pieces of the story that shoulda been there but it was very good.
In a interview with ice cube they asked him why he smashed the record label office and he said he was trying to move out of the tiny house he was living in and he had a baby on the way and he was trying to sell the house too and some other reasons I can’t remember
N.W.A. would have never been a thing if it wasnt for Eazy E
He also founded Black Eyed Peas, though they became successful waaaaaaaaay later in the 2000s.
I forgot Paul Giamatti played Jerry Heller in this. He's out there cleaning up the awards season right now.
When the lights came on, I thought it was the actual police.
Guys back in the day like 'OG Two Tone' were the original scared straight programs, troubled adolescents needs a OG Two Tone in todays climate..
My guy you do realize that scared straight has been on tv since the 70's right?
Man wtf this movie is 9 years old wtf !! I remember going to watch it with my homies in my truck, time flies man
She’s so pretty💖
You watching the extended version I’m now noticing because some of these scenes is scenes I never saw before, the hospital scene for example I didn’t see him get married when I 1st saw this film
07:15 Jazzy Jeff (from the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince) did the scratching and they recorded it for that part.
Great Vid Shorty, Don't Pay Attention to the Comments...
When Dre found out about his brother was so sad bro😭
Eazy E actually told B.G. Knocc Out, that Cube was the pouty guy of the group. He'd always pout about somethin, and have a problem with somethin.
The sad part about this movie was that after it was released in theaters, it was never nominated for an award.
When you said “you better watch yourself” I thought of the cube song whatch yourself before you break yourself 🤣
This actually happened in L.A in the 80's. I was all of 18 in 1986.
I was here for the video and to comment on the ice cube comment she made but y’all took care of it 🤣😂
@GrimmEnt. I love the movie. If I was complaining, I would say something like, "This movie is a bunch of lies, and I hate it." I'm telling MJ and other people that probably didn't know the truth around them.
Yea pac called dre out on 2 live in die in LA
@@de_lontekk8019Pac really didn't have anything to call Dre out about. It was blind loyalty to Suge Knight who was robbing him blind and eventually lead him on the path to an early demise
pac? the sodomiser?
LA was the wild west in the 80s and early 90s. With all the riots, battering rams, etc. And law enforcement then is no different than it is today.
It was ground zero for Ronald Reagan's war on drugs after unleashing crack into the streets of LA
@@bigb2494 Glad you said that thing on Reagan, imagine your own president/government putting drugs into the black community back then.I'm gonna have to watch this movie again and Michelle' did her own version of this film too.
@user-be7tc2bd6e part of "HIS-tory" they like to try sweep under the rug, but always try to praise Ronald Reagan. While Nancy on everyone's tv screen telling people to "Just Say No", he was behind the scenes putting their master-plan in motion
@@bigb2494 AGREED and well said.
Have you done All Eyez On Me movie about tupac
They didn't arrest then ice cube said in an interview that they put them in cuffs and asked for autographs 😂😂
They lied about Eazy bein broke. He dropped another album, still got paid off Dre, AND discovered Bone Thugs. Eazy was paid.
Naww Mj u tapped in wit Furious Fade ? valid asf
make up and hair on here is lovely
and nice added touch with the glasses
the glazing is CRAZY
I love N.W.A❤️🔥
Aftermath is the Dr Dre music label that was responsible for the rise of a great rapper , Eminem
Great movie MJ ❤🍿🎬🔥
The crush on O’Shea Jackson Jr during this time was real 😂
Looking forward to seeing her watch Biggie movie Notorious.
It's Ice Cube's son Oshea Jackson he took acting classes for 2 years and audition for the part.
He looks like cube cause that’s his son
I made this comment before finishing the reaction lol
If you want to watch some real LA street films that show you what was really goin on in Los Angeles, you need to react to Colors and American Me. Both of these movie really affected the coming generations
You should definitely watch this movie "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist"......me and some of my best friends have sooo many inside jokes from that movie, it hilarious
When Eazy-E made the song Crusin Down The street in my 6'4 it's based off of the movie Boyz N Da Hood
Naw the song came first.
@@goatmouth1069 Facts
Oh you don't know the old Ice Cube then😂😂😂😂 my manz was ruthless.... Eazy-E died of AIDS😢😢😢
Yea Ik it and I’m 19
Fun fact: Suge never jumped Eazy E in the studio. Eazy E pulled up to the studio with 20 crips by his side and Eazy E pulled a gun out on Suge multiple times btw. They just put that in the movie only for message purposes
The movie wasn’t accurate but it was alright. Eazy E and Ren were real gangsters. Eazy was about that life and payed a lot being in the dope game. Eazy got shot 6 or 8 time in the chest according to medical reports which is probably why he got his unique voice.
