So, there's this thing about living up to your father's legacy.
Filling their shoes so to speak and just thinking about it...
Besides O'Shea Jr....do we really have that many?

Sons that live up to or surpass their father's legacy.
My father was a very intelligent and respected man but I def don't feel like I can live up to his accolades.
Not with all I'm doing and responsible for right now...
Should there be pressure to live up to it and surpass it?
In most father's mindsets, they hustle for their kids and they work crazy hard to get to a place so that things are easier for their children but is that really beneficial to the kid?
We'd hope these spoiled kids get a taste of humble pie earlier than later in life but I'm just curious about the numbers and how often that happens.

I feel you man, as a person I feel I can be better than my dad, I feel that once I have kids I can be better than my dads been
But at the same time I don’t feel that I’m as well equipped to deal with life, I don’t have the knowledge he does in a lot of areas that are considered useful or see myself being able to single handedly hold a family together financially like him. But I also think that there’s that many aspects to life in general that we shouldn’t consider whether we live up to them or surpass them based on accolades or career/money/whatever. I say as long as you’re doing alright for yourself and for your family, you give love and get love back and still feel like you at the end of the day then you’re doing all you need to
