This is the best video on "how to" do something, I've ever watched. I was able to follow your instructions and got the water inlet valve out all by myself! Thank you!
Thank you very much for this video. It's very simple yet very informative. Although we don't have the same brand, it's enough to give us an idea on what's going on and what to do. Well done!
Thanks Josh from Australia. Great video and you have a very nice tone to listen to. One query that I will research is approximate cost of Water Inlet Valve. Thanks again. I will check out your entire Channel soon. Best John J
Is this usually the issue? I have a 90's Whirlpool washer that does this. I wonder if that part is still available. Currently, I run the spin cycle for 30 seconds when the tank gets a couple inches of water in it. I unplugged the machine when I went on a 2 week vacation, thinking that would solve the problem (temporarily) but it didn't.
I was having the same problem after changing the valve 3 weeks earlier. I found out that If the valve gets a bit of air trapped inside it causes leaking into the tub. I made the washing machine work and after the air went out the valve worked correctly again. There was air there because I washed the water tank supply.
It won’t drain unless you make it drain it. Mine just started leaking but it’s a decent drip. Within 36 hours I had 6” of water in the bottom of the tub.
Mine leaks when it's filling with water but it's not any of the hoses it's like the water running into the barrel but also behind the barrel and the water barely comes out when filling
Yes but it will get your clothes wetter and will use more energy to dry them. Also may grow mold inside your machine eventually. The valve is not that hard to change.

The best man. Thanks
Did you disconnect the power?
I see the power cable still connected - unless it's the dryer...
Yes always disconnect.
Mine drips sometimes but not every time. Why?
Thanks sir!
FYI just finished this up, worked like a dream. My washer is an Admiral, but the process was much the same. Appreciate the vid!
What was the part called

What is the name of the replacement part that was used?
Use teflon tape on the blue and red hoses when you attach them back.
Thank you
Just wondering if I let it leak would it eventually fill up the whole washer? or would it drain little by little by itself?
It won’t drain unless you make it drain it. Mine just started leaking but it’s a decent drip. Within 36 hours I had 6” of water in the bottom of the tub.
I got busy for a week and the tub overflowed. Now I have rust stains on my tub
