Manthatknows Even during the attitude era it was forbidden for a face and a heel to travel on the road together. Especially if they were working a program together. Couldn’t even eat in public together. In fact, there was a hefty fine associated with it. This was enforced in WWE and WCW. And as far as Kayfabe being dead, it depends on who’s view it’s coming from. There’s a such thing as going off “script” and then there’s something like the curtain call which was a blatant break of kayfabe. Obviously Taker still took it seriously enough (because his love of the business) in this point in time of the video.

Undertaker is a legit badass. Multiple black belts and the best boxing in WWE. You can tell when he throws punches in the ring that he has real technique. Dude would’ve been a monster in MMA if he had chosen that instead of pro wrestling. I truly believe that and I’m way more of a MMA fan than pro wrestling fan.
He once said if MMA was big in the 90s he would’ve chosen it over wrestling but it didn’t get but until the early 2000s

As revealed on the Stone Cold podcast, Undertaker just wanted to be the first person to feud with Brock once he left MMA and came back to the WWE. So Undertaker was trying to create buzz at the UFC event to get fans talking.

Eric taker never talked bad about brock being with sable and neither did he make fun of them. Taker actually had a thing with sable before she was ever with brock and after it fizzed out they still remained good friends. So wen sable got with brock and when ever they had issues she would talk to taker about it. Who knows what she may have said to taker about brock wen they might of had a tiff, probably something like he is treating her really bad which might of pissed taker off. Any way taker has said some thing about brock and when sable and brock were back on good times she has gone back and told brock that taker has said so and so about you. She probably stirred it up abit more and has probably made it worse then it was as she could be like that. Anyway she ended up causing a real issue between brock and taker.

Goes to show how OK Taker was with ending the streak and giving that right to a friend. Lesnar surprisingly respects Taker more than most people. Although I wish the streak didn't end, at least Taker was ready for it to happen.
Triple H wanted the streak to never end. That's why he and Shawn made taker seem unbeatable at WM. Vince however wanted to end the streak.
undertaker would do great in MMA, the guy has phenomenal attributes(in reality not just as a character), his strength, speed, endurance, agility, flexibility and cardio especially for his size is nothing short of phenomenal, his range of motions is good, he's very coordinated and well grounded and know exactly where he is in the ring, his arm reach is very good(i remember him choking a standing edge from a set up position in summerslam 2008), his strikes are powerful and lighning fast, yes he doesn't make contact in WWE but u can easily tell that he has the best strikes in wwe roster, imagine a hard stiff right hand from taker......, all in all i believe taker would do extremely good in MMA

He's still strong and got some legit techniques but he's 51 years old for fuck's sakes. There's a reason there aren't UFC champions that got into the game in their late 40s/early 50s. The tendons and joints just won't hold up the same at that age, not to mention recovery takes a lot longer.

Imagine all the WWE legends that could of went to the ufc. The Rock The Undertaker Kert angle Booker T stone cold steve austin triple H and so many badass people
For those who are wondering. Vince allowed Taker to have control over his Wrestlemania streak, and if Taker didn't want to put anyone over, he didn't have to, but he respects Brock A LOT, and badly wanted for Brock to end the streak, because he felt that Brock deserved it. Additionally, he wanted to retire around this time, and pass on the "Phenom" aka Conqueror torch to Brock. BUT Brock was sick and HHH pulled rank. So Undertaker accepted HHH's challenge but didn't put HHH over, because he wanted Brock to be the one to do it (i.e. end the streak).
THIS CLIP was awkward because Vince and Taker expected Brock to beat Cain, and then Taker would ask a HAPPY Brock Lesnar if he wanted to end the streak. Obviously things didn't go as planned, but Taker stood his ground and asked Brock anyway despite Brock not even being in the mood to hear anything about the WWE after losing to Cain.
That's not true at all. Who told you that? Nobody knew Brock would end the streak until the day of Wrestemania. Undertaker didn't want Brock to end it, he just did as he was told. He felt that someone like Roman Reigns would be a better candidate because Brock didn't really need it.
