Yo dude I love your videos !! I’m just beginning to become a police officer and I would love to take a couple lessons from you. how could I do that to get the basics of boxing and tips and tricks as they don’t teach us that in the academy ?

I love how you give a respectful shout out to everyone - to traditional martial artists, to people doing tai-bo type stuff. Subbed!

Yo my brother, as a 50 year old recovering addict been sober for 9 months now, start going to a kickboxing circuit gym and watching your videos has helped me in many ways, when I'm hitting or kicking the bags or pads I can hear you talking smack about those who titty punch or kick with flailing arms and I make sure to keep my guard tight and hands up, the trainers are impressed so thank you and I am proof your videos help!

this video was very helpful, I have a tendancy to drop my hands during combinations in sparing. I think this came from hitting the heavy bag. if you have any tips on my sparing I would love the feedback

Man I had to learn this stuff the dumb way. I've heard that if you want to box, the worst possible thing you can do is go and buy a heavy bag, I've had to live that truth lmao

My father’s friend gave me several very expensive heavy bags a few years ago because he was transitioning to water bags. I always assumed that he went to water bags because he was getting older and was now training more for aerobic gains instead of preparing to defend himself. Is there a clear proven reason that water bags are superior? Or does it just depend on personal preference?

Hey Steven! I know you're busy, always been right, but with the growing channel if you can spare the time to through in stuff like this it would be awesome. Love all the new content, just with the production value you are up to nowadays I think you may have some side success on the channel with some things for beginners or bjj or anything dominant, how to start mma, what are some things to start doing at home with heavy bag, Jiu-jitsu movements with a bag and some mma intertwined from places like side and knee on belly etc. Your knowledge of this is legendary but unknown and I'd love for it to shine. Maybe you can do something with anyone of these things I said. Figured I'd gi e out a small idea or two instead of just telling you what YOUR content should be. Anyways brother, Wisconsin wishes you well, God bless. And #stranglegang ,just happy to be here 🤙 👊

Will remember this in my next krav maga class. Have habit of holding back of the Bob's head with my left and continuously cross hitting with my right to the face as hard and as fast as I can, then maybe a knee to the groin. Other times, I grab the throat and snatch, then hit the solar plexus area, but don't think that may work in reality.

Hey Steve what do you think of the "shovel jab" as I call it. I find it to be quite useful in some angles kinda like a upper cut and a jab.

If you have some experience it's ok to eventually lower your hand for combinations and cardio Focus, even in fights i lower my hands depending on my opponent, i have this Karate background so the in and out movement helps a lot but i try to lower my hands If i see my opponent is already backing up too much "yeah Dalton but you can be surprised by a big punch like Anderson Silva!" No, i can't because i am not just leaning, my role body goes in and out, it's a good technic but needs to be worked a lot and It have the time to do and don't, you should never do If you are fighting someone super explosive and agressive, he will eventually get you, hands up my friends.
