I've worked out on traditional heavy bags ruclips.net/user/postUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.
Suggestion. Consider getting a second camera. One to sit on a tripod to capture the wide shot. Without it, we’re missing a lot of your foot movement. The other camera can be the handheld that can give you close-ups as well as pano shots. Good stuff. Thanks man.
I've been listening to multiple ppl on RUclips and you by far the best with how you break it down... My coach helps me hands on and your videos help me rep mentally..
You mentioned range. Heavy bag is also a great way to work punches from all 3 ranges: long, intermediate, and close range. Important to get the "feel" of all 3
Bro I just found you on here and this is really solid. I have a bag that’s literally out for delivery right now. I appreciate your work man. Solid punch bro.
So I'mguilty I admit I went around looking at other different boxing channels on RUclips seeing if there's anything else I can learn and although they do have some pretty good stuff it's really all about Coach Anthonya lot of the videos I've been putting on my channel some of them are from some other sites but a lot of them are inspired by Steph I've seen from the coach himself I feel like I learned more from him than any other Boxing club I go to or even kickboxing or Muay Thai gym he's just got it down and is truly inspired me
Thanks man, really been digging your content, very clear and helpful. BTW you should put a link to your site in the description, get people clicking though. :)
i like to hit the bag all over visualizing a moving head hip torso shoulders and solar plexus and when i fight i like to visualize my oponent as a moving heavy bag with those same kind of spots
I want to get a pair of everlast Mx for all purpose except sparring. I’m trying to figure out what size. I’m about 170 and want a glove I can move right from the bag to pads
I need a litle help with my boxing as ive just started training im left footed and left handed and i feel more comfortable in the orthadox using my left as my jab hand should i carry on doing this or shoud i start being southpaw cause i find it real hard jabbing with my right hand
Hey coach, where do you get those caps with the peaks off to the side like that? Everywhere i go, i just see the standard ones with the peaks at the front.
coach .... love your work.....your explanation re the southpaw 2 of of the jab... hows it's set up brings it all together....I was taught that and teach it but loved the video....SHARP
@@phtorres45 the reason it feels off when u move to the left is likely becuz of the footwork needed .. an adjustment is required to get the angle if you are pivoting left.... practice without the bag 1st in ur shadowboxing...try moving forward and backward smoothly , small steps always...never big lunges... try circling right then same to the left, never crossing ur legs...to go left step left with the left leg 1st.. to go right step out with the right leg 1st .. there are many vids where you can see this demo ed... try the footwork in ur shadowboxing 1st dont even worry abt the hands, make it a drill for the feet..keep ur guard up but work forward and back, lateral movement and circling in both directions, then pivots to create angles
This man is a genius he has elevated my game to a whole other level

You should do a video on running for boxing
Have you ever had adults enter your gym claiming they wanna train to be a boxer?
Purple Heart Why not? There are divisions for adults. You can be 40+ and still box masters novice for your first bout.
Phyllip Davis asking out of curiosity
Moving to my right is easy. Moving to left is all janky.
You a southpaw?
Morgan Brown no. Right hand. I’m just trying get the movement correct but I’m no real boxer.
