Those are not my colors too, but you see the block beauty anyway! bless.
Cristy, a question, I started to dye my fabric after following your mom videos (was long ago), but i do started only now, my question is: do you dye all sorts of colors and then choose your colors, or do decide for block colors and then dye, may be it is stupid question, but due to the fact that i am absolutely new to dye fabric, i need this help?. tnx dear.

Hi Becky. Both ways are perfectly valid. My mom will dye a bunch of fabrics for her stash, then pull them as she needs them. She also dyes fabrics for specific projects. I think dying for specific projects is a good way to start building your hand dyed fabric stash. Then, as you go, you can dye more colors to fill in gaps. I hope that helps!
