I'm happy that the RHCP still exist in this world. I love that they're older men and still so weird, funky, and soulful. They're remnants of a different time and I'm grateful they're still around.

Chad, Flea and John are fantastic. Just bought the record today and I must say - the standout is Anthony Keidis. His most mature and thoughtful project yet. Not just his lyrics, which were really something, but his entire delivery, cadence, timbre, rapping, flow, etc. etc. Anthony’s lyrics and singing were so cool. The album felt like a California breeze and riding a long, smooth wave. Unique sound in today’s nonsense music where everything sounds the same. Chad, Flea and John were really great. But it really felt like one unit. One person, even. And like Anthony voice(meaning artistic vision) really came out. He put great lyrics and style to very cool music. The funk and rap were so classic Chili Peppers. Honestly, the album felt like it was recorded somewhere between 1987and 1991. Which is definitely a compliment.

Some people are saying that the band are in a dark and sad mood. Not at all. Listen to the album. It is totally peaceful and easy. Smooth and musical.
Buy the album. I purchased the record. It sounds very nice on my system.
Rick Rubin did a very nice job. The production is so good that you don’t even know it’s there. This is a really great project.

Its boring, slow and the songs are bad, Kiedis voice is bad, he cant sing and his voice is showing hos age now. They they should just ditch Kiedis and have Frusciante sing

One of the first 3 rock bands that hooked me to rock music at age 11 back in 1998. That later spread my love throughout whole rock - grunge - metal area... I was always debating with myself which is my number 1 band that I want to see in concert. Now I know for sure, its them, the RHCP (with John)! Too bad I live on the other side of the planet... I truly hope I'll be in their audience one day... They stood the test of time, and they stood it proud! Unlimited love for the RHCP!

@@stephenwoods Nirvana and The Offspring. I bought the Nirvana CD myself (first one ever to buy myself), after it was playing in the music shop (had no idea who they were, just knew I instantly loved the sound). Got the album Americana from a friend on a casette tape. Ahh... how thankful I am for those times 💙 As for RHCP, the friend who gave me the tape, gifted me RHCP CD for my birthday. Weirdly enough, she never really got into rock music 🙂

RHCP's LIVE Music playing is undeniably one of the best!!! Never hear the same song the same way each time because John Frusciante makes them beautiful soul-touching improvs. The RHCP MagiK will NEVER fade in Time!

The first time that I've seen Black Summer played live and that was sensational! They never fail to bring that extra something special in front of an audience. Kiedis sang it well. Probably the best first single they have released since By the Way. Whilst this album has received mixed hot or cold magazine reviews, to me having been listening to them for 30 odd years I reckon that Unlimited Love actually contains a handful of some of their best works.
