I love the fact that she talks about the pressure that's on some young women to have longer hair & that we shouldn't compare our hair length to others.

I love how encouraging you are! I also love how you embrace your gray hair. So many women dye their hair and I love to see when women accept their crown of glory. I plan to do the same as you do! You are very inspiring!

Love this vid! Getting your mind right, your image of beauty, finding your confidence (if you didn't have it before), learning to love yourself in a new way...all of that describes what I think the natural hair journey should be about. Not comparisons, feeling bad about your uniqueness, nor any of the other misguided goals some have. Hope this helps people get it right!

Thank you so much! I have been growing my hair out after a big chop 1 1/2 years ago and didnt even realise there was this huge following, I did it because it felt right. I have been debating a relaxer these past few days as my hair is getting very dry and I can't seem to do anything with it but stick it up on my head. After being introduced to MyNaturalSistas I am inspired to finish what I started and embrace my journey. You are stars.

Thank you so much for sharing and reminding all of us to "enjoy our hair". I was getting of track of the real purpose why I went natural in the first place; to have healthy hair. I do love my hair! I love the fact that I now know what best works for my natural hair and how to get the results I want. I'm not frustrated anymore and guessing about how to take care of it. Once again, "THANK YOU".

Thanks for giving me a start. My big chop was 3 months ago and I haven't been set on any products or even a consistent regimen because my hair so thick and it feels like it's always dry so I condition and wear sew ins. I am viewing my journey differently now so thanks again.

Thank YOOOOOOOUUUUUU for pointing out different factors that affect hair growth especially genetics. Just like we have different tones and textures in our skin the same goes for our hair. All natural hair is not the same! I'm so tired of some naturalistas acting like just because your hair is natural your hair will grow to your hip in three years.

Thank you Thank you for such honesty and care for others! Your beautiful aura surely gleans through not only your hair, but everything about the human being you are! I feel so bad for some ladies who cannot discern the obvious differences in our hair types--as well as the results of whatever items we use on our hair. We are as uniquely different as we are individuals. My hair is also on its way to lengths never before experienced! Thanks again...and continued happy-hair-journey! :)
