    Pittas don't have to be angry/stressed. even being overly ambitious is kind of the same fire as anger/stress. in both cases the head generates heat

    This was so helpful. Thank you. I get stressed easily and I'm a total control freak, and I've been struggling as of late to find a solution as to why and how I feel so restless. I'll try the yin yoga, walking by the lake, and eating more veggies and fruits, and cutting out hot sauce!

    I've never heard about any of this till today. I took an online test and I am pita to the point I actually laughed reading about my personality as it's me to a t. I love spices,meat and onions and tomatoes so its going to be challenging x

      pittas can eat pungent, bitter and sour things, but in moderation. If you used to eat spicy pitta agravating things 3 times a day start eating them 2 or 1 times a day, add some sweet/bland food. find balance. because if you start eating only bland food sooner or later you will have too much kapha.

    Pitta for mentals is balance by increacing the diferent mental props of the other doshas, yin yoga helps stuff, acidity reudcting help the mental, NOT over thinking

    Thanks this video was a much broader view for me re: I am high PITTA. I have a very hard time with pesticides and cannot tolerate a lot of drama when my digestion is off. I just cannot quit coffee! ugh

      You can go for other things in editional if you can nog leave coffee. Just ask your questions on health buddy Natural channel on you tube.

    Hmm... I have had Pitta traits in me. I naturally have had a tendency towards competition and i did suffer from acid refluxes. But on the other side, i err on the Vata side as far as imbalance goes.Inability to focus sometimes, mind going all over the place, being irregular...

    I had ginger n garlic anyways , whatever u said is 100 percent right. Btw im a professional bodybuilder i eat lots of food. No salt and no spice in my food. Still im having troubles in sleeping

      Exercise builds up a lot of fire in our bodies so pittas don't need to overexert themselves like that

    Pitta people contain alot of fire inside which means high acidity if ivereating but better rate of transformations

    What if you’re a combination of pitta, kapha and vata? I have taken a few different quizzes and seem to be a bit of all three.

    A very helpful video. Overall I relate to this, and after taking an Ayurveda quiz, pitta shiwed up as the highest. What’s strange though is that I tend to tolerate heat better than cold, and winter is my worst season. Summer is fine. As long as I’m not out in the heat too much.
    As far as having a pitta mind, Would someone who suffers from genuine, not pop culture OCD and related attention deficit disorders, very low frustration tolerance, lack of ability to focus, and severe mental hyper activity qualify as a pita mind?
    Also, I have been a serious meat eater. But I think that is possibly a big part of my problem.
    I’ve also habitually eaten a lot of spicy foods.
    I do not get acid reflex, but I do get a lot of bloating and lower intestinal pain and muscle tightness.
    Much of my life, I’ve been listening to incredibly intense music like metal, which makes me feel better in the short term, but I am guessing is probably not so good for me.
    It’s been tough to sort things out, but this Ayurveda stuff, which I first started learning about just a couple hours ago, seems to make some sense.

      Just search on the RUclips search bar ,,,, pitta dosha by fitTuber... Because ayurveda belongs to India and no one can actually tell you about Ayurveda more than one who is Indian...and because he makes videos in both hindi and English you can definitely understand that....

      People who belong to pitta dosha have skin issues more than others...oily skin...nice hair...dry lips...more value for water ( they can't live without water for more than 5 min in sunmers) i am one of them and i take 4L of water in spring and goes like 8-9L of water in summer season...😢🙂get angry easily.... frustrated always...they love winters and hate summers...they can't actually survive summers easily...more digestive issues... burning of ears and many more

    Hi Sahara! I have been having hair conditions. Like dry scalp, hair fall and dandruff. I found out it's related to pitta. But Is it because my pitta dosha is too much or deficient?

      Hijack SONAR stop all sour food and for dry scalp use coconut oil or other oil. Apply for 1 hour and after wash with shampoo.

    Reflux is also often caused by a vata (dry, addicted to too much sugars etc) imbalance and/or too much ama/candida which disturbs the protection against hot spicy foods in the stomach.

    Hi, My Prakriti is Pitta, my Dosha is Pitta Vata. They have recommended a Pitta diet.
    Should I then eat foods that calm Pitta or boost Pitta?
    The weird thing is that i recognize myself also in the prakriti Vata.

      Jolien Goossens everyone has all 3 doshas, just in different "percentages". If you are primarily pitta, eat a cooling diet, especially during summer. You can also have 2 or 3 imbalanced doshas and we are living in very vata imbalancing times so you may very well need to balance vata as well.

      Ooo she said acid reflux happens because of high pitta or high amount HCl in stomach but it happens quite opposite.....acid reflux happens because of dilution of HCl when we drink water just after meal.
