This is the most incredible build i've seen so far. I am about 100 hours in on this desert area and mine is so basic and messy. I can't imagine the amount of planning that went into this. Brilliant work!
Not surprising, im working on a large scale build myself, as impressive as they look once finished, i have a stackable 4x4 smelter setup with 8 smelters each floor, that's 240 iron/min with just one click, compared to hours building a large smeltery building lol
Dam, I don't play this game but I can understand that you have put a lot of work into this. God dam. I hope many others get to enjoy this as much as you did making it.
I'm late to the party here but holy shit this absolutely insane. I'm so fascinated by how you must have planned this all out. That's my biggest issue when trying to make massive districts like this. But my god does it look so cool and seeing it all busy at work must be incredibly satisfying. WELL DONE. Ficsit would be proud. You do not waste.
Don't put pressure on yourself, have fun and it will come with time. Creativity comes whenever it wants to. And it's your world, your save, your personal journey
Thanks! I actually took a screenshot of the map on Satisfactory Calculator and printed it out, then sketched out my plans in pencil. And I use an Excel sheet for the production numbers. ImKibitz has some videos where he does a similar build over the whole desert, but it seemed like he barely did any planning, and it still looked great! It helps to give yourself lots of extra space while building, since you're usually going to have to change your plans somehow.
Wow! That’s awesome. I have an oval train loop around the desert right now. Just finishing up a storage mall type area. Then planning to “factory in” the rest of desert. Your transportation layout is amazing!!!
I really like your map. I like some of the little touches, like a car in the parking lot, the triple wires on the power poles, and a few of the buildings are really looking great. I have a similar desert map, but in mine a huge portion of the stations are built in circles around the space elevator. You inspire me to make it look cool! :)
you just make a fuel truck that goes to the various truck stations with fuel, that's all you need to do, or belts or whatever... they only need to be able to pick up fuel at one of their stops (the unload one makes more sense since you can unload the fuel there too and split it out with a smart splitter and dump it in a container and feed it into the fuel entrance of the truck station
@@LiLBitsDK Yeah, that's exactly what I do. And since the trucks are mostly just bringing ore into central factories, I only have 4 fuel stations for about 40 trucks, and they send fuel directly to the ore unloading stations. I also have an extra "gas station" for my personal vehicle and a couple of random truck routes.
Always wanted to make something like this, has a awesome heavy industry vibe. I want to sus out how many factories and of what sizes Id need for a proper productions city like this.
Well I don't think I even had any permanent buildings in my first 50 hours... I have 1000 hours in the save total, and I moved to the desert around 600 hours in
Those were all for iron ingots getting sent out by train. Looking back it was totally unnecessary, but I just wanted the machines to keep running all the time.
@@D3r3k2323 only reason I ask is cause I’ve been working on a world for a long time and just like you and the other RUclipsrs I want to expand to dunes. I want to make a transport network that takes ALL the nodes from dune and centralizes them but it’s veryyyy difficult to build an efficient infrastructure since there are SO many nodes. :D
@@CryoxR3AP3RX TBH I wouldn't recommend centralizing ore with trucks like I did. This whole area is pretty overcomplicated and requires a ton of trucks, so I'm already starting to get lots of lag. But I think it's pretty cool and kind of realistic! For a megaprint, maybe it would be good to have just the road and rail network with all the factories removed?
I just added a link in the description. But the save is still from Update 7 and it's really messy and incomplete. I had to move on to a save a while ago since I had too much lag.
Well, I was a little over-ambitious planning this project. And I was starting to get bad fps because the save was getting pretty huge. I fully intended to go back and add supports, but never got around to it
SO IM THINKING OF BUY THIS GAME . IHAVE NO CONCEPT OF WHATS INVOLVED WHEN IT COMES TO ACHIEVING THE RESULTS YOU HAVE . I ASSUME THERE IS IN GAME MONEY TO BE MADE , SO CAN IN GAME MONEY BE BOUGHT SEPERATELY OR HAVE THE GAME CREATORS PREVENTED THAT .
@D3r3k2323 do t get me wrong it looks good, but it would be genuinely impressive to do in vanilla ..if you said you did that in 5000 hours ..even then I'd be sceptical
What a plausible industrial district. I love it!
This is the most incredible build i've seen so far. I am about 100 hours in on this desert area and mine is so basic and messy. I can't imagine the amount of planning that went into this. Brilliant work!
If I spent 400 hours in Satisfactory, I wouldn't have been able to build even a fraction of this.
Quite impressive. I like how detailed the areas are. Some of it looks unfinished; but the ones that are, look great.
Thanks, yeah the whole area if probably 60% done.

This is awesome. You barely notice any logistics. Looks like a real life industrial district.

Thanks! Although, those triple wires are now useless, with the priority power switches.
All of that in 400 hours? Amazing. I couldn't do half of that in 400 hours. Nice work.👍
Absolutely love your build !
wow this is incredible
Thanks!
Fantastic layout !!
Transport is completely amazing. Well thought out and efficient.
Very nice 👍
Thanks, although it's not exactly efficient...
Efficiently beautifull at least
This isn’t a factory anymore, its a whole city🫨
Well done! I'm taking a lot of inspiration from this for building my own factories!
Amazing man! I’m going to steal some of your designs for my own save.
Can’t wait to see more of this! Are the doors for the train near the beginning 0:42 and 0:54 going to be walled around eventually too?
Yep! The area is full of half-finished buildings, there's still a lot of work to do...
That looks more like 4000 hours of work
VERY impressive. What amazes me the most is, that you get all your trucks supplied with fuel. This part of logistics still is kinda hard for me to do.

thats so much high effort, i am impressed
Amazing factory.
The potential is there if only the game could handle it 😅
ちょうど道の作り方を探してたんだ。いいものを見つけた
Those trucks make the city alive
Yeah at this point it's not a factory but a city
Yeah, it made me realize that I should try out Cities Skylines!
Always wanted to make something like this, has a awesome heavy industry vibe. I want to sus out how many factories and of what sizes Id need for a proper productions city like this.
Damn my 400 hour save looks probably like your 50 hours save :D nice build
Well I don't think I even had any permanent buildings in my first 50 hours... I have 1000 hours in the save total, and I moved to the desert around 600 hours in
I completed the elevator in 50 hours. There is no point to play after that.
Why so many AWESOME sinks??? Are there really that many things being made?
Those were all for iron ingots getting sent out by train. Looking back it was totally unnecessary, but I just wanted the machines to keep running all the time.
nice design
impressive
Bro at 400 hours I'm no where near this level of beauty nor production 😭
Good job!
Классно👍 Не хватает летающих истребителей и отрядов штурмовиков :) Почему-то навеяло ощущения из Звездных войн :)
You should upload your world as a megaprint :D
Good idea, I might do that but this is still a work in progress. I will upload the save at same point for sure

Just WOW. Amazing work.
Awesome job!
This is where I want to be with my builds. A question though, how do you have that to-do list on your right side? It looks very useful!
You just have to click on the right side of the screen with your inventory open 😜
Do you have a savegame? I´d like to get some inspiration from your buidling techniques :)
I just added a link in the description. But the save is still from Update 7 and it's really messy and incomplete. I had to move on to a save a while ago since I had too much lag.
good work mate
What are you going too produce in there if i may ask?
I'm mostly just producing ingots and shipping them out by train, but it's become very overcomplicated
Very impressive!
Impressive! 100%
Insane! Do you have a reddit account?
my PC would just give up, what are your specs?
Lol my 5900X/3080/64GB is already struggling.
This is a biffa approved save.
mind blowing. GG
Looks not bad :)
Is that modded or plain Satisfactory?
can i download this progress?
i don't understand people who have these barebones ostensibly aesthetic builds and then leave everything floating after the fact

@@D3r3k2323 understandable, have a nice day
Looks like IKEA parking
It's a good video, it's a pity it's not realistic because you didn't put the pillars to support the platforms.
It's painful for me too... Don't worry, everything will have proper support eventually
You spent 400 hours on this what its the goal and next goal
Fantastic
Can you give me this save file? .If possible, I thanks very much
400 hours? that's ridiculous
very few traffic lights

Everything in this video is vanilla! There is no DLC or in game purchases in Satisfactory.
@@D3r3k2323 DAMN THATS GREAT NEWS MUCH APPRECIATED
100% not 400 hours save, you cant make this with 400 hours, but its very cool
You are right, there were probably 1000 hours in total since I started in the grass fields, but I did build 95% of in 400 hours 😃
very nice
oh my god

Why cant i build that in even 1000 hours?
....damn son
Amazing
Crazy
What is this?
It's a game called Satisfactory!
nice
waw, another one on creative mode ,,, big whoop
city skylines xd
Far too many block signals.
For sure, but they make a nice sound when you drive past
0 percent chance this 400 hours only.
Haha that might have been a bit of an exaggeration, but I also spent a lot of time planning outside of the game.
im not worthy
be cool if he actually biult all this not cheated
Actually this was all build in vanilla, but I've started using the "creative mode" since then because it's so much faster to build
@D3r3k2323 do t get me wrong it looks good, but it would be genuinely impressive to do in vanilla ..if you said you did that in 5000 hours ..even then I'd be sceptical
ща кончу
Nice, but no realism. All rails floating above the ground without support. Buildings held up by a single wall. Pathetic.
Wow! Amazing. When i‘m seeing this i already think my current mega Build will be too small again 🥲
