I’ve always said that where this guy has a video at about 30 rows back dead center maybe even a little further is probably the best way to witness tool but they are also very good dead center upper deck
This has to be one of the best live Tool video ever filmed. You caught the visuals, the lasers, the bad ass performance and even got awesome audio to boot. Legendary video man. Felt like I was there. Unfortunately they didnt play this one at Louder than Life.
I cannot understand all the negative comments here and at the show. Tool absolutely brought it and were EPIC. The sound quality was one of the best all weekend. I know it was frustrating for those way in the back since they could not see them, but Tool has never wanted for the spotlight. They have only come to perform some of the best art ever recorded. IMO, they were simply awesome.

They were just so slow! Compared to the other bands. Didn’t fit in with the set list: most of the people in GA slept thru their performance. Myself included
Saw them at the Eugene, OR concert. My seat was upper deck all the way back. First concert I actually liked that seat. Got to experience all the visuals and the sound was great. Already knew that that Adam and Justin didn’t hop around like idiots like other bands I’ve seen; making the show more about them than the music. Tool doesn’t need all that child-like silliness. Was my first time seeing them and if I had the money I’d follow them cross country.
That's the best thing about TOOL and you can watch them perform the same song again and it'll be a whole new level. I've only seen TOOL live 3x and I can't wait to snag a show on their tour! 🤘

I didn't like the 90s going to a tool show anymore. Maynard obviously don't want to be a front man anymore and he stays in the back in the dark..... straight up aggravating. You might as well be backstage or we should listen to a sampling if we're not going to see the front man
@@Gazzaloddi-ml9ej They certainly weren't epic. People were wanting refunds for their portion of the show. I had good seats so I could see them. Most of the crowd needed the screens to see them. They band put visualizers on the screen 100% of the time. Most of the crowd never even saw the band perform. I did, and they were lame, and got blown off the stage by Metallica.
@@Ben-zp1zh Big difference in complexity... When a talentless hack of a drummer like Lars gets up on stage, his set is so simple, he can stand up and spin his sticks (It'S SooOOoo kEweL!)... yet when Danny gets up on stage, he has quite a bit more to do then gimmicks... Let me guess... a KISS fan?

This was such an experience never seen tool it was like they were controlling my trip i cant explain it
