I was there, I was dead center in between the pit & the soundboard behind us. I was praying that we'd get "Maynard he Cat, but they had only done it once or twice prior to this, so I didn't want to get my hopes up for it. The moment I saw maynard come out & lay up on the stairs to the right, and saw that piece of paper in his hand, I knew exactly what was about to happen and could not have been more excited about it! There was no way in Hell I was gonna film any of this show, not even "Grand Canyon". I just took a handful of photos & watched/listened to all three bands play the most beautiful rendition of 'Grand Canyon" I've ever heard in my entire life. I've been thinking a lot about this show, and I've seen some truly LEGENDARY concerts over the years. I've seen PRIMUS fifty-something times, and their 2012 Halloween show at The Tabernacle in Atlanta was always my "Greatest show EVER", considering I did get post-show "Friends & Family" VIP passes from Ler himself, so I got to meet, and then just hang out and laugh and shoot the shit with Les, Ler & Jay Lane. I've thought about this a lot. That 2012 PRIMUS show will probably always be the greatest show/greatest night of my life, but this show, this might very well be the greatest concert I've ever attended. No post show "Friends & Family VIP hang-out" or anything, but as far as the actual show, from beginning to end, it's gotta be the greatest live concert ever. Maybe tied with PRIMUS, Halloween 2012 at The Tabernacle? It's so difficult to compare two VERY different shows, and obviously two other bands that I've been trying to see every chance I got over the last TWENTY YEARS. I FINALLY GOT TO SEE APC & PUSCIFER LIVE! WITH PRIMUS!!! I mean, it literally cannot get better than this. N Puddles showed up and sang during "The Hollow" while Tim Alexander played the drums, just like he did on "Mer de Noms"! This was the greatest concert ever. Right up there with PRIMUS Halloween 2012. -

My first Primus show was the one on their Hallucino*Genetics DVD. I'm the one holding up the 'Les Claypool for President" at the start of Spagetti Western. Now I keep that sticker (still on its original paper backing) in the case of my copy of that DVD.
What did we just witness? Only the pinnacle of musical greatness never before achieved until this moment!
Thanks Ler, you never disappoint and the remain the #1 reason why I've listened to Primus for 30 years.

The chemistry is so fun. Very technical artists who played with weird sounds in the 90's. Out there having fun in the 2020's and putting on a great show.

I went to the April 17th show and i was really looking forward to puscifer and a perfect circle but i was also looking forward to Primus, because i have never before listened to them besides jerry was a racecar driver and let me tell you that Primus live was a whole different experience and that made me a fan!. I will be listening to to their music, cant believe i been missing out all these years

Primus is the best show on earth. They frightened me as a child. So I also sadly didn't discover this until the age of 34. 😢 But I've now seen them four times and am going again August.

I saw them in Boston for the opening night, then at Foxwoods 2 days later and will be heading to NYC on May 4th for the last show and each has been slightly different. Love love love!!!

Never gonna not be jealous that GA is the only set that got this. Saw the NC show they did right before this and wish we had gotten Maynard the Cat. Tommy the Cat wasnt even in our line up.

I saw Primus during Frizzle Fry at Tipitina's in New Orleans in 1991 I saw a tool in 1992 for undertow@ Lollapalooza and I saw a perfect circle for Mer de noms at Voodoo Fest in New Orleans in 2001. Just don't get any better
I saw Primus in Pensacola in a little club right after Sailing the Seas came out. I saw Lollapalooza the year Rage and Tool opened, also. Great shows. That Lollapalooza Tool set will be forever ingrained in my skull. One of the best sets I've ever seen by any band.

Thank you Metallica for telling Les he was good enough to make his own thing, Les found other two equaly talented musicians to form Primus, then he became friends with another talented singer who joined other talented musicians to form 3 bands. Thank you Metallica for THESE MOMENTS! And thank you for filming this, I know it's hard to film. 😄

I was at Alternative Nation at Olympic Park in Melbourne, I think it was 1994.
Primus, tool, nine inch nails, body count, ice t, hole, faith no more, I know I’m forgetting some, Lou reed even I think, heaps of Australian bands that went on to be massive, I think the second night finished with primus then faith no more, it pissed down rain right at the end. It was the first time my parents let me go to something with one of my mates driving

Three of my favorite bands on the same night, tickets will be about $250 each , so $500 for a concert. I’m deciding between spending that money on a new guitar or going to the concert. I just started trying to learn guitar so I am torn between the two. What do I do, go to the concert or get a new guitar?
I picked up a $37 lawn ticket for this show about two hours before doors opened, taxes, and fees included. Then I just went and found a bunch of open seats right behind the soundboard and sat there.

It started out like any other Tommy performance, but the second I saw Maynard sneak out & lay on those stairs, THEN it became *Maynard the Cat. I'm curious what my face looked like when I first saw & pointed him out to my friends. I don't think anyone saw him until I pointed to the stairs, then everyone started mumbling & started freakin' out. Mostly confusion, I don't think most of the crowd knew anything about the possibility of Maynard the Cat. This was so fvcking epic! -
