Same here! I applied NV evo on Australia day last year on my daily driven car and its still going strong. Washed every 2 weeks with Snow+ and Gyeon Restart and topped with NV Boost. Very happy. I'm just an enthusiast and that was the first coating I ever applied, dead easy.
@@sunilraj7692 Good to hear. I'd used gyeon can coat Evo a few times before I stepped up to NV Evo. Couldn't have been easier to apply and remove. Can't imagine any other coating being easier other than can coat.
I hadn't checked out Feynlab's coatings before, this 1yr one looks very interesting. Thanks! I'm loving this channel, a much better way into the products than most of the paid for stuff out there.
Great work & good videos!!! A thought: While I realize that any comparative products can be evaluated in ‘SO MANY WAYS’ to the point of splitting hairs; I feel a distinctive point has been overlooked in your approach… That being that as any materials evolve there becomes established ‘Gold Standards’ of their types… Going forward, how about incorporating a couple in each of your longevity tests … That way improvements in a particular product type becomes an element of comparative…
can you include in your trials next time the Classic Liquid Glass polish thats sold at advance auto.. so many like it but to see it up against others would be great.
@@ScottHD wouldn't be interesting to do a test with a decon wash every 3-4 months with their respective toppers? Like CQuartz + Reload, GYEON cure, Opticoat Hyper seal.. That way the test can show a more near to reality outcome of the coatings as per care instructions.
Could it be the nature of Scott’s “torture” test vs however your wife’s car is maintained? Not sure if she uses any of their maintenance products like Cure, Wetcoat, Bathe+, or their detailer? I believe the theory is that those types of products leave a sacrificial layer atop the coating that prolongs its life. I’ll be putting Syncro Evo (MOHS with Skin layer on top) on my CTS-V after I finish paint correction, so I’m interested to see how the MOHS does here… That being said, Scott, would you include Gyeon Synchro in a future test? Thanks!
@@jessefrantz3156 I applied Gyeon Synchro EVO on my Tanzanite Blue BMW . 2 coats. I applied the coating when I purchased it 2/2020. Still glossy and hydrophobic. The vehicle is washes with CarPro reset every 2 weeks. I believe you will be very pleased with Synchro. Skin is a bit tougher to level than Mohs. My only negative
@@rivakhoffman4825 Thanks for the info. Just the Carpro reset then? Or do you use any other maintenance products on the BMW? Glad to hear it’s performing well. My V is Black Diamond Tricoat. Can’t wait to see how the Synchro looks on it.
@@jessefrantz3156 Yes. Monthly, I will apply Gyeon Cure as a topper for the Ceramic coat. Great gloss booster. Enjoy, and take your time when applying the Synchro. Easy to miss high spots on dark colored paint. Mohs is easy to level. Skin is not so forgiving.
There is a recipe online for pdms/silica based hydrophobic mix for fabrics. They use pdms and a catalyst for the pdms, in a ethyl acetate 'ethanol like solvent' and also 20nm silica dissolved in there too, they also add some setaric acid, i dont know entirely why but there is a reason. Is this type of ceramic coating being sold for cars or outdoor applications??? Does anyone else know the chemistry of these different mixes? I am tempted to try the recipe, and test it against nano age, which I have used, and it does work good. However, i am skeptical about all chinese products, and any product that uses the flourine based solvent, which is actually completely undesireable and bad for health and the environment. LMK anyone.
Gyeon Mohs still looking strong as expected but I’m surprised that Kamikaze is beginning to fail.
Great to see the Aussie coatings still going strong. I use NV Evo. Very easy to apply and buff. Thanks for all your hard work on these vids

That Feynlab is amazing but so is Nanobond for the price. Amazing Scott, thx for all the hard work

Adam's Advanced Graphene is advertised as a 9 YEAR coating. Wow
Yuuuuuuup. Never gonna happen.
im pretty sure their recommended maintenance is to remove and reapply the coating every year so, with that philosophy, it will last forever haha
Glad to hear "...let's do a further." is back. I was worried you had retired it.
Haha. It comes and goes.
Thanks for the update Scott 😀
I'm going to buy my ceramic based on your videos

Great video and testing.
Hi scott great video just want to check if you have a idea that gyeon Mohs can be applied to ppf
Simoniz & Feynlab battling with Gyeon MOHS EVO for the best result.
I can find the Simoniz, has it been discontinued?
It would be interesting to see in a future test "Diamond Body 360".
It's coming! I have the entire line
If you used something like carpro reset or descale it would unclog the coatings giving better hydrophobicity
can you include in your trials next time the Classic Liquid Glass polish thats sold at advance auto.. so many like it but to see it up against others would be great.
I'll see if I can pick some up locally
Hey you should do a decon wash.
I do at the test end. Usually around 1.5 years

Hi Gyeon pure evo . On buddy car for 10 months still going strong. Maybe you got a bad batch!
I'll be sure to test it again
Have Gyeon Pure Evo on my wife's Subaru Crosstrek. 18 months and still very hydrophobic. Perhaps you had a bad batch?
Could be. Is definitely odd. We'll test it again
