    Thanks for showing the route setters work! Not even epic TV is covering it. As a route setter myself I agree hundred percent with Katja and Steve on the planning, balance, love and passion required on the dayly bases in this profession.

    How many years before the holes undermines the dams structural integrity?

      What do you mean? They’re not gratuitously hanging out.
      That’s the problem with this whole red bull “extreme sport” shit. It attracts clueless non climbers to get weird ideas.

      @@TesterAnimal1 I climb, and I'm not clueless about climbing. I just like trad climbing, and I don't know much about routesetting.
      I didn't get introduced to climbing by Redbull either. Even if I was, what's wrong with that? Do you not want the sport growing?

      Can you see how thick the concrete is? If the dam can't hold up a few nails it's got bigger problems

      The concrete is very thick in comparison so it doesn't do any damage
