Maybe kick off from the highest point while repelling down then use that momentum to swing up and into the room with the cracks and totally stick the landing, or wedge the landing. It's some mission impossible logic here.
Honestly a better use of that space would have been to build an 8x10+ feet spray wall that is steep so you can train more effectively. 30/40 degrees overhanging… or you can make it adjustable. The roof crack is sweet though.
If you want to get strong a uk style cellar wall would be a better option imo. 30-50 deg overhang spray wall filled with mostly wooden holds, but as space doesnt seem be an issue a regular spray wall would be better. Single overhanging wall packed with holds, boxes, volumes (much more expensive though). A good spray wall offers infinite combinations and difficulties. Sick barn!
I don’t remember the exact mix, but when I helped build a small gym, we used chalkboard paint and sand, I believe it was mixed with regular acrylic (non-latex) paint.
Great video and nice to see the shout-out to Sheffield in your Dad’s chisel collection. Sheffield was the one of the major steel-working capitals of the world, famous for its tool-making, along with being the climbing Mecca of the UK. We live about 45 minutes away.
Damn this is such a beautiful barn, sick home gym. Loved the crack climb, think you guys could defo do it without the right foot more difficulty. Wonder if it's doable without either jug though. That reach up would be nasty. Also think it'd be cool if you set something with a bat hang on that little diagonal lip above the beam.
Your videos are the best! Awesome barn and climbing gym you have there! In order to make it a perfect place, you are just missing a nice and cozy beer corner! 😄 (all nice climbing halls have one - at least here in Switzerland!)
My first time bouldering was with some friends in Geneva and I remember there was a beer bar that you got to after topping out! Best thing ever! Never seen beer served in another climbing gym since
Would love to see you expand the space out even more! Butttt should definitely get some actual pads furnished and set up. I think it’ll make it come together😏
Super good video and a unique home gym. Just curious if having most of the gym be vert walls instead of overhanging was a deliberate choice or more just for ease of construction/use of space.
Comment some fun ideas for what we could do next with the gym!
At 0:45 you have a rope hanging in frame, looks like you could build a high wall there
Add a side wall and make some dificult bridging routes, maybe add a campus board?

Such a creative gym and video noah! You should call your gym "The Barndoor" lol
that's a good idea!
I'm only 3 min in and this video has vastly exceeded my expectations, which weren't very low in the first place. Such a unique style, I love it.
I hit 4 minutes and subscribed
Sameeee
Dude amazing storytelling! Dying to know more about this mysterious door monster 😳
Thanks Roo!
You never fail to amaze with how gorgeous your videos are! Keep up the amazing work
Thanks so much!

Great job. I like the basement door story included with it.
Saw a sneak peak of this barn wall in a RUclips short close to a year ago and have been hoping for a full tour and you definitely delivered 🤙🏼
glad to hear it
I've been waiting for this vid for so long! I saw the barn in a TikTok. Looks awesome, man
Love the vid! I built a wall during covid and this really got me psyched to climb on it more despite having huge modern gyms again.
it's nice to have both!
this is insane
Great Wall and nice editing!!
thanks!
Great video! Fun mystery/horror bits!
awesome video. Great shots with great editing to string them all together!

Such a cool build and what a beautiful barn! Well done 👏
good job on the wall guys and Great Story Telling!
Thats really cool, I did a similar thing but out of rocks, I'm glad to find others with similar ideas
i was thinking, instead of adding sand to the paint for texture, you could try that roll-on truck bed liner stuff, then paint over that. Worth a try!
Great video! Those holes might be a little chipped, but you got yourself some classics there.
Now I want a Barn

Anyone else wincing at the thought of the splinters from that OSB board? maybe swap the volume material for plywood? Seems a little safer.
I read the thumbnail as "Gym for Home climbing" instead of "Climbing gym at home"
You ligit visited my home crg climbing gym to get the holds that’s kind of crazy
Happy for you Noah (:
would've been a great opportunity to use the barn door as part of your climbing gym 😂anyway, great video!
Would love to see you expand the space out even more! Butttt should definitely get some actual pads furnished and set up. I think it’ll make it come together😏
So awsome !! What is the width for the crack ?
Perfection🥺👊🏾🖖🏾
Cool barn
Living the dream bois
The size of this property realizing it's only a barn is crazy
Nice! But ...all vertical/roof, no overhanging parts of the wall?
it's a splurge but an adjustable angle kilterboard in there would be 🔥
You should set a bat hang start with a rose move finish just to get some funky shit in there
that would be sick haha
Masie carried the video
She totally did
What a nice project, i really envy you...
Looks fun
Great video, climbing and suspense! Did Ethan extract revenge for out climbing 🧗♀️ him?
I saw this right after I finished mine in the garage 😂 also what brand of gloves are those
Noah has Wide boys gloves, I think Ethan has the Ocun ones
Wtf the history of this barn is crazy how much in debt are you guys
Great Work! what brand are the blue pants with the thigh pocket?
damn this was a cool video
So sick
man, i want tto live in that barn...
I am form india
Super all videos amazing❤🎉
Looken good man !
thanks for the help Matt!
I am so jealous of you! How much did the entire project cost to build it all?
probably around $2,000 - most expensive thing is plywood
@@NoahKane that’s actually a lot cheaper than I expected! Providing you have the space that’s relatively reasonable to do

Just sort of ease of construction / use of space
crazy good
nice job
Ok dope home gym aside. That carving though 👀
yeah right!
What's this song in the background?
What's behind the door man?!
So cool
inside that barn there would be space for an entire zipline lol
Slide. A water slide.🫨
Is your barn insulated?
it's not haha
"recycled plywood" (holding a piece of OSB 😬)
When I saw hymalan salt I thought it was a smelling salt
Roof Crack? Sorry I only smoke the regular crack
lol
Idk that hold deal was pretty sus
Is open for business
How did dad make his money?
