This literally felt like a movie, everything… especially the climbing was super dope
Deserves more views!
And a good reminder that it's not always the high intensity / impact / boom / baam / fast content what's nice to watch... This was so relaxing!
Cheers! I appreciate this comment so much!
You are welcome to visit Ben. We’ve got some nice climbing near Monterrey.
@@NoahKane You just need to adopt a "more views mindset"
Seriously though, if you have this platform use it responsibly. Choosing to take risky climbs is your own decision, but encouraging others to do so is irresponsible. A lot of the people hearing you talk about taking risks to push themselves may not have the well tuned sense of their personal limits that you do and are likely to take things too far.
@@crowonthepowerlines From what I've seen of @Noah Kane 's videos, he demonstrates very solid and reliable climbing technique. He is honest and upfront about his mistakes like when there was confusion between which climber was calling "Off Belay" in this video. It's is a great way for others to learn to avoid such mistakes themselves. I see a lot of sketchy climbing advice on RUclips, but Noah's videos certainly do not fall into that category. Climbing is risky, to be sure, but making it some sort of dark art by not publishing quality content only leaves people to struggle to find information on how to make it more safe.
@@crowonthepowerlines I did not see any free soloing in this video
This project was sooo well done! I’m totally inspired to climb outdoors more :)
Cheers so glad to hear it! Can't wait to see more videos on your channel, I love them!
@Send Edition same! I forgot just how much I love climbing outdoors until I watched this. It was so well done and it made me happy to think about climbing outside again
Shiiiiiii
@@NoahKane yall r sooo inspirein ta this kid that climb was soooo aawwssoommeee
The "off belay" confusion is why I try to use names for belay commands. My name is common and sounds like some other names (through the wind, it's surprising how "David" can sound like "Nathan" or "Jason"), so in hearing-impaired situations I'll agree on a more unique pseudonym with my belayer. "Off belay, Rumplestiltskin" is pretty clear.
The morning of the climb is making me emotional. The excitement and uncertainty must be crazy. And the gratitude afterward, so rewarding. Keep doing ya thang
Enjoyed the storytelling, filming and editing so much, Noah! Beautifully done. Have even more motivation and inspiration within me to go back climbing on the rocks 🙌🏾
Thanks so much Leva! Your channel looks so cool and this means a lot!

Thanks for the epic video and congrats on a mega achievement!

Great movie man! I met your bro and Mel in SC this year. Really good folks. I heard about you whilst climbing together for the first time. He's proud of you and for a good reason. Cheers to your vision and safe climbing!!

Hey Noah, awesome storytelling. You made a film full of emotion and brought us along for the journey. Roo I could see your attention to detail with the cinematography and particularly appreciated the lighting, especially during the walk into the park in the dark conditions with the background lighting.

This man can literally climb anything I appreciate it!
Best video I’ve watched in a while, would love more content like this
Been to savvanah myself, have yet to encounter even a bump, which is way more my pace. Rock climbing looks terrifying, good on you!
Amazing story my friend! I also live in colorado and am a climber. My best friend of more than 10 years and OG climbing partner died Ice climbing this year. It was really nice to see you and your buddy making memories together. I know my late friend would want me to get out on some wicked adventures like this as well. Thanks for sharing friend. Take care and maybe I’ll see you at a crag in CO!
I’m really sorry to hear What happened to your friend. I’m an ice climber as well and was wondering if there was an specific cause for his death while climbing. Did anything cut the rope in a fall or an avalanche hit him on an alpine route? Curious as it may make rethink some things for climbing.
@@Raylovepalomar thanks for the kind words, he was trying to set up a Top Rope Solo, ice / rock fall hit him before he was tied in
Incredible filmmaking. Incredible accomplishment. So inspiring.
