Bro should've locked the door😑
He’s not too smart…
I totally felt this!! i do wonder how it would have played without just the “uncanny valley music.” sound design is such an important part of especially horror movies. the way something like a soft, minor, soundtrack during the alley scenes and changing as he’s running away or something would have skyrocketed the short film to new scary heights! i get being on a budget, but even though i’m personally not an expert, for horror-type things in the future, it could be beneficial to even get someone who plays violin/piano to play something copyright free softly in a minor key! and as cheesy as it is, having the sudden notes to almost indicate a jump scare can elevate the perception of the fear the main character is feeling and give it to the audience! just the main thing i observed ❤ it was amazing!
I also do believe that part of “predictability” may have been leaving a lot of natural sounds for the clips without adding those little minor-key notes that can make a world of difference! bringing the audience out of their mind and into the moment of the film!
Wow!!! Now THIS is a comment. Thank you thank you thank you. We’ll definitely take this feedback and apply it to our next one. Thank you for being immersed and taking the time to let us know what would work better for the general audience 🖤
Yes I agree with this! Sound can really help With a building in Suspense! Most common example is In Jaws, When the sound plays it has this effect on the mind when you know something bad is gonna happen and you’re waiting for it- even adding it faintly can show great results in the internal fear.
@@Velvet.Crypt1dLOVE it! Yes, absolutely. We used the music because it was associated with the trend, but for our second one… just you wait 😳
That little jump scare at the end kind of got me but I am curious did they kill him and if so how? Also I hope nobody else saw you guys in the apartment complex while filming then I would feel bad for them😅 anyways well done!
We were thinking of making a part two down the line! Thank you! And yes... a few people saw, and laughed, and then ran.
Please make a part two I'm BEGGING you @@2100films
Very strange, kind of predictable but well done. Loved the angles.
Thank you so much! The second one won’t be as predictable… I promise
this is fire. your effort is shown and it came out awesome!
Thank you so much!!! We’re glad you enjoyed
holy shit rly well done. great cinematography and i loved the song choice. def creeped me tf out! The pizza segment was a little slow for me though!
This needs more views asap, the “old” style of videoing was amazing and made it more scary. Super interesting, and very underrated❤
It always makes our day when we get these comments ❤️ so glad you liked it.
Definitely a part two in the foreseeable future.
@@2100films ooo yes I would love to watch a part two, keep up the hard work!!🙏💖
That was was so cool! You have a unique directing style 👌💯
Thank you, Amen!
So pookie core
Pookie core indeed 👏

I liked how you built up the menace, it starts super-normal (a guy eating pizza, who claims he liked being alone, yet he says it so many times....which usually indicates either he is trying to convince himself OR he's starting to get tired of it) I loved the shot at 3:02, where the camera tilts 'along' with the main character's puzzled head.
I think a little more 'action' with the mysterious Baddies would have helped, like perhaps have them do other random, yet non-violent things to taunt him.....such as maybe he looks into a store-window & sees one. Or his neighbor is suddenly one.
This is meant as constructive criticism; as I really enjoyed the concept. The music accompanying it reminded me of The Wiz, when they all encounter the demonic puppets. I saw you mention a sequel, possibly to this....that might work quite well. This story has potential.
Wow! Thank you for this comment. We appreciate the criticism. Very excited to create a part two :)
This is really inspiring, loved it!
So glad!
No way I set my reminder for 10 AM…… so sorry…. Very good film, I like it a lot!
Glad you enjoyed it!
love!!
Thank you!!
that's sooo good, dude
Thank you Alex!! So glad you enjoyed
such a high quality horror film, great job guys!
Thanks for the support Diego!
this was so unbelievably good, wow. i loved the aspect ratio you guys chose for this, i love the camera angles, i love the color scheme, the song choice, and i LOVE the graininess of it.
Thank you so much Mackenzie!!! That means a lot to us

@@meowfox2 Thank you!!! Check out the uncanny valley tee on our website 👋🏼
I don’t quite understand the threat here. Is it supposed to be open to interpretation?
The threat is the skinwalker! (Is it really a human, or not… how did it morph into two)
No attempt to relock any of those doors
Absolutely none
swag:)
Swagger
3:02 I wish we could’ve gotten more of those camera shots , it makes you feel uncomfortable and queasy, kinda like the camera shots in the first final destination movie
Thank you! And yes, watching it back, we can see what you mean. Stick around and we may do another one…

Also , I might animate this guy lol just wanted your permission @@2100films
The plot felt somewhat weak and confusing. Removing the music might make it seem like a group of friends joking around rather than a horror story. While the jumpscare at the end added a hint of horror, overall, it didn't quite evoke a strong sense of fear or suspense. However, I do appreciate the core idea and believe it has potential if developed further and polished. This is meant to be constructive feedback rather than criticism. I always appreciate seeing someone bringing to life an interesting idea. So please keep it up!
Thanks for your opinion!
Of course I would watch this alone at night
😂😂
love it bestie
Very neat! Found only one flaw that made me pause immediately 4:45
Thanks so much!! We really appreciate it. What was the flaw?
@@2100films I could see darkness on the wall from someone standing there. Also the reflection in the glass. If that scene were clipped just a second later in the beginning it would appear more naturally to me. Right now it looks like this is take #5 and he's waiting for "action" lol :p
@@RiderDecker HAHA! Good to know… I didn’t even catch that… that’s why we do this!
@@2100films Good work! There's always going to be a critic! :D

4:20 No wonder that guy is a loner.....he lives in the most depressing looking apartment building. Now back to the film....
why is no one talking about that pizza man he dumped salt on it 😢 its a really good short horror film

Ayo, whadafak! Is that A cheese pizza? I mean it looks like killer Pie, but so boringgggggg. Aww man. All that for a jump scare? What a bummer. I was digging parts of it, but... that isn't even an earned jump scare. Great production value though... Just not my thing, and.. Cheese pizza.
Hey, we always appreciate these comments man. Thanks for giving your two cents 💪🏼
@@2100films I didn't intend it to be negative. Except for the cheese pizza part. I just think it would have felt more surreal if there was a lingering shuffle toward the bed, something actually uncanny. I just really don't like jump scares. But I am autistic, I tend to hate sudden noises and things like that etc...
