Really dang good. A shame the best oral showing of Grey's power was cut:
    "How was your father?"

    "I'm an orphan, I don't have parents."

I fucking love how the watcher would assume Wheeler is just extremely addicted to smoking when she asks about if she could smoke, only for the watcher to find out that she's already asked two previous times. Except, later she mentions she keeps an Anti-meme in her head - In the written story, she further explains that she feeds it miscellaneous, non-relevant memories so that It doesn't go and eat something genuinely important.
She isn't demanding to smoke or reaffirming the question for a different answer to letting her smoke, she's *feeding the Antimeme* and forgetting that she ever asked it in the first place. Very brilliant use of show not tell!

I do sorta wish it mentioned the idea that when you join antimemetics, you can't get better at it, your abilities are the same if you've been working there for years as when you first join. In the book, she...
      - Understood that you can't skip a dose of mnestics without being prevented from doing so
      - Realized the assistant is the only one close enough who could do it (these first 2 are the only ones mentioned here)
      - Asked him how long he worked there, to which he didn't answer
      - Looked at the office and noticed there is only one desk

Then the story came out and it was wonderful! Some of the best writing that came from SCP wiki.
And now we have it being "put to film", so to speak.

About halfway into this, I had this thought: Now this is the real reason I got into horror. Not the gore, splatter and jump scares - but being faced with the weird, the mysterious and ideas that give you that feeling you sometimes get when treading water over some real deep part of the ocean and it hits you that you have absolutely no idea what's underneath you. Big kudos to everyone involved! The sets, script, acting, music, directing, filming, lighting - chef's kiss, just spot on!

I think it's funny to refer to antimemes as "information black holes" because black holes already are information back holes. Once information of any kind moves past the event horizon, it's lost forever. Black holes are real-life antimemes.

I love this, even when he knows he is about to die he does not give up nor despairs. This is the heart of the foundation, the only people who protect the delicate line of the Veil.

I'm obsessed with this. As a huge TINAD fan this was literally everything I could have possibly wanted and more -- can't wait for the next episode!
Wondering how long this is going to be, and what it's going to cover; if it's only the first series I imagine only 2-3 more episodes of this length? (edit: just read the description- 3 more episodes makes sense! although now I'm wondering what's going to be added to make them this length if they're all 1 tale each). AFAIK the only thing left out from the original two tales with this ep was 055 and Bart Hughes -- I imagine if you're only adapting the first few tales we don't necessarily need to know about 055, but now I'm curious when Hughes is going to come up. (I'm pretty sure I read on Reddit that this isn't going into 55555 territory but also if you guys adapt "Where Have You Been All My Life" I will actually spontaneously combust and ascend to the noösphere.)
Whatever happens I'm along for the ride and this is the only thing I'm going to be talking about for like the next week LOL.

Thank you so much for this! Yes, we're doing only TINAD because 55555 it's almost impossibile to adapt.
Next episode are around 10min each, a tad shorter!
Sadly, we won't see Hughes :(
