On the "panhandling" one.
He wasn't doing what they accused him of, and what they accused him of was not actually a crime.
Yet another example that ignorance of the law IS a defense.

On the "man with a gun" one.
The cop was frustrated by not getting an immediate description from the manager , but didn't bother to listen to the description at all. He just seemed to like pointing his gun at people. Well, the people he wanted to. He also liked yelling and cursing at people. Unprofessional, dangerous, a$$hole that he is.
Another part is, the bar manager and employee trumped up a false incident. Yet the guy sitting outside would have dispelled any suspicion IF he was asked earlier in the encounter.
The only difference between a cop and a criminal is the cops have sirens on their cars.

Absolutely. They know from experience that if they walk up aggressively, raise their voices, and bark out commands, most people will simply wilt and do as they're told. It's got nothing to do with law, oaths and training. It's just part of why they became cops in the first place.

It’s amazing the effect created when someone feels uncomfortable, especially a woman. Also, people who call for police service need to be held accountable for the effect created by their lies. A simple question like what crime is being committed by the subject could go a long way to filtering out frivolous calls.

The manager and his workers need some teaching. If they feel uncomfortable they shouldn't work in a restaurant late at night.

Even if Florida were to put panhandling on the books, they can't enforce it. Panhandling falls under free speech, which is protected by the constitution.
Since when do cops care about the Constitution?
If it is on their books, usually it's about "aggressive panhandling", harassing people or disrupting traffic.
Cops see that there is a panhandling law and either misinterpret if, or twist it to fit their narrative.
Some do have a straight up law against panhandling though, Jeff has had them struck from more than one cities books.
Firefighters impede traffic regularly to panhandle for money. Maybe if the homeless carried bunker boots.
It is about a government issued "Right" to lie with impunity. Immunity from justice.

The cafe manager violated the law for MISUSE OF 911 FOR NONE EMERGENCY. The policy enforcer had no legal basis to detain him.

(The word "upon" means "probable cause" comes before a "warrant", not after the search.) The SCOTUS is a Private Corporation (see D&B).

Then, he basically started gropping her .. like WTF so disgusting, inappropriate, and completely unnecessary !! That was hard to watch, honestly.. I think she was in shock, but thank goodness the other cop was there to stop him!! I hope she sued and got a good settlement!

Despite local un-Constitutional ordinances, the US Supreme Court has ruled that panhandling is totally legal in every US state.

Officer Tackleberry brushed off a guy fitting the description, just to point his gun at a uniformed employee. Maybe if he hadnt been asking rapid fire questions he would have heard the suspect description a little better. The guy was manic throughout the whole encounter.
