so did she get paid for having to go to prison.. They claim the government isn't bad, But right now they are trying to scam every veteran in the Arellano vs Supreme court case right now
Calling his actions juvenile while being fraudulent criminals just shows how stupid they are clearly not knowing the meaning of the word. This is Putin and Xi-Ping level of newspeak right here.
My children are going to be taught self defense. If someone aims to kidnap them, they need to go for the face, the eyes, use a pencil, or whatever they have. Children kidnapped by the government end up handed over to people like Epstein. FACT.
Retired 20-year federal agent here. This should be a major federal investigation! The Public Corruption Unit of the US Attorneys Office should be reviewing every case this Odessa drug team ever filed. This qualifies for a RICO prosecution.
"This qualifies for a RICO prosecution." .... Yet NOTHING will EVER be done about it because f of how DEEP the corruption goes in State, City and County police municipalities. It's all about weaponizing the forces AGAINST its own American public. Again, NOTHING will ever be done about it to clear it all up..... Prove me wrong.
Speechless... this guy just set free an innocent woman after wasting 4 years in prison over false accusations and the Chief calls him immature, takes his children and persecutes him? WOW
"Create an environment where the children believe the government is out to harm them" Well the government just took away their kid after falsely imprisoning the parents 3 times, so... yeah that sounds like the government is out to harm them.
@@hoglefish Taxpayer money isnt going to solve the issue. We need to be able to sue the cops themselves. The money should be coming out of their pockets, not tax payers.
The other funny thing actual drug runners, gang members and prostitutes all keep custody of their kids... but a guy who caught cops being corrupt is a danger to their children.
This is one of the many reasons people have no trust in law enforcement. Their response to being exposed is even more concerning which is saying a lot considering they imprisoned an innocent woman for 4 years.
Imagine what the Deep State for life US Govt peeps do behind closed doors and make policy. Imagine that corruption with never ending streams of revenue and retirement funds. That's an entire Govt of Depts of Govt. Good Times.
@jenellswan9195 Honestly, you should feel very lucky that you were able to believe that. This is the norm for the most part; police doing the things that people think they do is the exception. Policing in America has been unethical and predatory since day one. People can just get the word out about it more now because of cameras and the internet, and even at that, for every story of malpractice, brutality, and predatory behavior, there are a ton more that we don't hear about.
Barry Cooper is exactly the kind of guy you want to be a cop, the kind of person you hope every cop aspires to be like, and it's telling that he was so sickened by what he saw while a policeman that he not only left the force but started actively working to expose their corruption. Just a total champ.
He’s a shining example of why cops are becoming more and more corrupt. The ones who just want to do good for their community and have a strong moral compass all end up leaving
And then afterwards, the entire local police force works to ruin his life? Yeah fuck cops. The only good "cops" are citizen activists like him. There can be no good cops in the force when the force as a whole is so corrupt, and there wouldn't be so called "terrorists" protesting the police training camp in Georgia if the government had listened to the actions of those like Barry Cooper, and the people could be sure their justice system is a fair and just one.
Wow, this makes me furious. How dare the chief call Barry, “Immature and Juvenile” for not only catching his officers corruption but for freeing an innocent lady.
It's because they believe that they are infallible, and the justice system never gets it wrong. This is why most district attorneys refuse to revisit a case once they get a conviction, even with overwhelming evidence of innocence.
More county Sheriff's in New York get caught for criminal activities than political assholes running the state. For a time we had 3 or 4 Sheriff's back to back forced into retirement rather than face prison time for criminal action in Cayuga County. Seneca County went through 3 Sheriff's the last one was cought not only selling impounded items rather than releasing back to their owners. He was also selling off evidence that had been stored some of which were part of both on going unsolved crimes.
That's because lying on search warrants is more common than actually having enough probable cause to obtain one legitimately. Cops are trained to lie on every report and document. They call it "articulation" which is just a fancy word for twisting the facts to present the most advantageous position for what they did or want to do. Accidentally shot someone when you shouldn't have? No problem, just articulate a reason after the fact for why you had reasonable fear for your life or that of others.
@@PRC533exactly. They need justifiable, articulable suspicion per the law and they are trained about where all the loopholes exist and which judges benefit their perspective. 😬
A lot of bad cops believe (and have even been trained to believe by people like Dave Grossman) civilians who aren't bootlickers are scum and villains, so they aren't losing a wink, believe me.
Police departments across the country deliberately recruit sociopaths who enjoy ruining people's lives, on the assumption they will provide good job performance in terms of tickets/arrests.
Being a crooked cop is worse than most criminals serving real time. EDIT: Well this blew up! Thanks for the likes, most I've ever had. Hopefully their is truth in my words.
I think most criminals serving real time would disagree with you, since most crooked cops are still free. It's worse morally, for sure. Nobody seems to care about that anymore.
Instead of having remorse for taking 4 years from the life of an innocent mother they go after someone committed to justice and confirm the worst suspicions people have about police.
The chief even said that he’s immature and wasting tax payer dollars🤔. Ummm, I’m pretty sure imprisoning a tax paying citizen by setting her up is also a waste of taxpayer dollars while simultaneously imprisoning and innocent person🤔
Or cop's should just do their fucking jobs and stop creating major criminal cases that helps their careers and of course their fragile egos. It's the making shit up that's the biggest problem today. Just about 80% if cop's today go around trying to make dumb shit into big felony cases.
I suspend judgement. We are only getting one side of the story here. For that matter, we don't know how much of this film is fiction or highly edited. Grant you, if its true, it stinks...but I reserve judgement.
What is truely amazing is how hard these people in the government will double down and ruin others lives after clearly being wrong. They have near infinite resources compared to a single citizen. Its sickening.
It's not actually that hard for them, which is why they do it. They know the system is rigged in their favor and that 90% of people take plea deals out of fear. And that even if they don't convict you the process of having to defend yourself can be a life destroying punishment in itself.
@@Rowgue51 Really well said. The 'justice system' is bad enough in its lack of fairness. Combine that with a law enforcement community who are so criminal, so corrupt and who can and do run amok. I mean, FFS, it's been proven that there are actually criminal *gangs* in the LASD and other forces around the country yet these predators are allowed to continue to ruin the lives of people and families with no consequences. It's CRAZY! It's *got* to be a deliberate system on the part of the government. I mean, the proof is *everywhere* as to the criminality of the law enforcement community yet still there's no recourse for The People. I'm not big on conspiracy theories but I really believe that the government has deliberately created a law enforcement system that is well apart from the public, that knows it is despised. This way, when they are required to put down protests and unrest the badged thugs will have no problem doing so. If there was harmony between cops and the public they'd be more reluctant to follow orders to put down unrest. The government have created a new 'class' of society. The law enforcement class.
They went from cops to golddiggers, if they brake the law, why wouldn't they steal also? And later stealing becomes main objective, because they changed their lifestyle, and think they deserve it because they have dangerous jobs.
So you're saying this police department is the government? Huh? In fact, they're criminals violating the constitution and the laws passed by legislators, which means they're anti-government. Sounds like you might have an agenda that's not supported by the facts(?)
How do you send someone to jail genuinely knowing they're innocent? How does that sit well within your soul? You're literally robbing someone of the one life they have. This is crazy
Satanisim took over the police in the form of police gangs and freemason police departments. Horrible acts fuel these horrible creatures. Wont ever be stopped till people wake up and stop trusting "authority"
There was a search warrant executed in Houston TX by a detective who had an "informant". It ended up being a no knock and the resident shot at the cops thinking they were intruders. It ended with several cops being injured, residents being killed and their dog killed as well. The detective was fired and all of his cases are under review. It's sad how all of this can be done and most of the time with no consequences.

What gets me is people think this is an isolated issue. It isn't. You have entire departments that operate this way, all around the country. If you embarrass them, they will go after you, all of them, and they will do everything in their power to destroy your life, even if it's illegal.

Which ever judge approved a search warrant on his home to seize videos needs to be brought to justice. Judicial immunity needs to be revoked and jail time for the judge.
The sad thing is half the justice system is built on lies. We are supposed to believe every Judge is Impartial and will rule fairly without bias... which is a complete joke. And we are also to believe cops tell the truth and their statements are fact when they get on the stand. It's been this way for ages. If a cop says you did something, you did it no matter what. You could be in a parked car, without any keys, heck it could be even broken and not run. Yet you will still be able to be arrested for speeding in it.
I'd be more interested in seeing the sworn affidavit presented to the judge and used to justify and obtain the search warrant. If factually and materially inaccurate or made with falsified statements, either knowingly or intentionally, that would be grounds for perjury charges, which is a felony and a career ender for any LEO. Over the years I've discovered lots of trained officers who lack the necessary and pre-requisite legal training to even fully understand the laws they're supposed to be enforcing and like every profession, you have good ones who are at the top of their class and those that barely graduated. The irony is that quite a few despise accountability, due process and transparency for their actions and even the good ones are sometimes reluctant to police themselves to the same high standards expected of everyone else. More people should use video cameras to document everything. You never know when you'll need to show proof of wrongful conduct.
Anyone in this day and age who thinks they can seize and therefore control a video by taking one physical copy of it is out of his mind. Welcome to the 21st century, granddad!
@@eanevakivi2479 Eh it's not that simple. Sure if your smart you could scatter back ups of the video around, have copies on USB sticks in a safety deposit box, upload it to the internet etc. But even if the Govt can't track it all down, it can be still made to be useless as evidence in court. Many cases where video proof of some one committing a crime was available, and yet the courts couldn't use it to convict some one for one reason or another.
Its not the Judges fault. The whole thing is the BS affidavit given to the Judge, which is what this whole thing is about. They set up a fake grow house, make it a bit obvious to what Officers look for on the outside but the normal laymen wouldn't be able to recognize. They (copbusters) will then call in an "anonymous tip" of what they think may be an illegal grow house. This alone is not enough for a warrant to search. What the officers will do then is case the house on the outside, see the telltale signs that officers are trained to see etc. Then in order to get a search warrant, they need a paid "Criminal Informant" who's identity is obscured due to the ability of the public to gain all court documents once filed and becomes unsealed. They will then say that the C.I. was able to gain access to the grow room either to buy weed or whatever and was able to see the actual illegal operation in action in an affidavit in order to get a warrant. There never was an actual C.I. and this is a tactic this police agency has been using for YEARS, the very same agency the man from CopBusters used to work for and knows this is how they roll. They get a tip, they will then scout the area and if it looks like a grow house, they will fake a C.I.'s sworn statement of being in there and seeing the illegal activity. All the Judge knows is what is on the request for a search warrant that is purposefully air tight in order to get the bust, which is highly illegal but he doesn't know this. This was the whole point of the video.
@Luke Skyballer they said "bad" cops in movies are portrayed as cartoonishly evil. Not that "all" cops in movies are cartoonishly evil. It's a subtle change in wording fragile folks like you may not pick up on. Your rush to defend your favorite flavor of bacon may have blinded you a bit.
@CranialDamage wanton mayhem and undue punishment would put one in the wrong. Vendetta is understandable, even justified at times, but it is a wicked little seed that grows and takes over. One can either forgive and let things go, which is the hardest thing, or one can fullfill the obligation and collect the bill. Honestly, one can get back at someone without violence by causing a multitude of problems, some people trade vendettas so theres no connection and bang daughters/sons, get people into affairs, gangs and crime, some truly gnarly stuff, but in the end its a stain that doesnt wash out. Its a decision one can only make for oneself. Its amazing and scary how one gets so good at things that are so bad, its ugly and you cant tell anyone because its not fixing appliances or growing crops. Some people on here have savaged random groups of attackers while defending themselves, with dozens of them receiving punches, kicks, elbows, blades, sticks and bullets. Like a curse one gets good at stopping them, but every once in awhile one has to defend again with no end in sight. I learned to let things go and live well as revenge, but usually they end up getting got by someone else. But in those special cases where its cowards jumping, random attackers, home invaders or crooked persons trying to do awful things to the undeserving, it seems they only stop when stopped. No matter what: they have to do something to deserve what they get, otherwise its the same as what they do..

Funny how cops so often seem to turn to name calling when people record them. I was watching a video where this cop was threatening to arrest this attorney because he refused to stop recording. When asked why he was being arrested the cop said that it was because “He was being a jerk” as if that’s somehow a crime. How is recording a cop being a jerk? The cop then immediately cited “A new law” that said that he wasn’t allowed to be recorded and the other cop just went along with it. Turns out that the law he was talking about was never even passed at all. Shits absolutely nuts.
And these are the people that are supposed be keeping us safe not all cops are bad but more are corrupt than are good and actually here to help people sad world it's becoming
Even better, always live stream police interactions. Preferably on a site that doesn't have an easy delete function. Maybe even with automatic notifications to friends and family and maybe an attorney.
"I'm with the government and I'm here to help" You gotta love the irony of how they arrested him and took his kids, saying he was inaccurately depicting the government as being a dangerous menace hurting people for no reason, after doing exactly that.. hurting their entire family for no reason... Ultimately proving their own point.
They won't be happy until the majority of citizens take a literal stand against corruption and the overreaching government!! We definitely have too much government with too many laws on the books. @@jdorn007 Actually the laws are typically the problem. Yolanda was put away for 10 years for a drug that does less damage than alcohol. Weed is being treated like an opioid or meth simply because back in the 70s it was an easy way for conservative politicians to rob liberals, Latinos, and blacks of their voting and arms rights. We can trace it specifically to the controlled substances act and Nixon. Other politicians further cracked down on drugs. Our vice president was central to California's 3 strike rule. i got arrested by the chief of police of my city because his daughters boyfriend said i assaulted her at school. i just wanna make one thing clear, the daughter and i were friends. the "assault" happened in the middle of a history class. nobody in that class saw or said that i assaulted her. she lied on the police report and said we were never friends, and not even the teacher or any of my classmates were made aware. i was arrested from the class two days later. charges dropped 3 months later. but they knew exactly what they were doing. with getting arrested, i lost scholarships and opportunities at the school that i had worked for for 4 years. also completely traumatized me and sent me into a downward spiral for years afterwards. ultimately i should've sued but i had no money, no power, and no evidence her father was the one that arrested me because the police department would not release the body cam or audio recordings and they illegally erased the schools surveillance of him coming into the school to arrest me without reading me my rights, making me aware of the situation of WHY i was even getting arrested. i genuinely thought someone had turned me in because i smoked weed every now and then, all of this truly came out of nowhere. her or her boyfriend at the time falsely accused me of something i would've been beaten to a pulp for had it actually went down like the police report says. you don't just assault someone in the middle of a highschool history class and NOBODY notices or makes an effort to stop me? it's just so fucked up what happened and i still have flashbacks and genuine emotional distress over everything. i wish cops could be held more accountable, because genuinely getting arrested at 17 ruined my life. im still trying to recover 5 years later with therapy, but i still miss out on scholarships and job opportunities because of something i never fucking did.

Lying to get a warrant isn’t even something they feel bad about they rationalize it to themselves.
An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind
That's because lying on search warrants is more common than actually having enough probable cause to obtain one legitimately. Cops are trained to lie on every report and document. They call it "articulation" which is just a fancy word for twisting the facts to present the most advantageous position for what they did or want to do. Wow.. Just wow.. That story actually explains a lot more than just Barry Kooper... Just wow...
And thank you for this great work of journalism.
What a hero. Usually movies depict "bad cops" as cartoonishly evil and way over the top, but what Barry went through proves that it's not fiction.
