Law enforcement has become a business to generate revenue for the principality they work for. You cannot enforce laws when you don’t know how to read and interpret the law. That’s why officers don’t officially charge you until after they have spoke with a superior officer that does know the law. Protect and serve is a thing of the past. If your house is broken into, unless your rich or prominent in the community, they won’t even try to get fingerprints or do any investigation. Why? Because there is no money to be made from it. Their time is better used out profiling people for traffic stops with the hopes of finding guns, drugs, or their favorite, cash.

The corruption in the so-called justice system is so deep and wide that it will not be stopped soon. If and when it is, it will be due to the brave auditors who fearlessly pursue the bad cops (none are good) and shine a light on their activities that they try to hide under the cover of darkness. They cannot conceal or deny what is clearly shown to be illegal activity even when the ordinary corrupt judges assist them to do so in their qualified immunity protected status. Some day we may have a police force that, knows and obeys all of the laws, doesn't lie, in all cases, but I don't know where they will come from. These people are tyrants with a badge and a gun. What I really want people to understand every time they watch these videos, is how many victims out there have had their lives ruined before video became so widespread.
Folks, these things didn’t just start happening in the last 5-10 years despite right-wing programming attempting to paint it as things like “woke” and “police harassment”. They were even WORSE when they were unchecked and officers knew they could do anything they wanted.
Do you know how many people remain in prison, languishing because there wasn’t video evidence exonerating them? How many families destroyed? How many children without fathers or mothers? It’s the neverending circle of recidivism and it keeps all the people who are paid money to hold these jobs-from officers, to corrections, to parole and probation-it’s a machine and it is time these officers who ARE culpable and ARE filmed to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and qualified immunity MUST stop so that these tyrants truly pay for their behavior.

News departments have limited resources to cover an entire city’s worth of breaking news plus any national news they can/deem necessary. This incident appears to have happened in the camera-holders neighborhood, so he was able to take the video opportunistically. There’s no way news teams can stake out random cops doing their jobs.
