That first police officer was easily one of the nicer police officers I've ever seen.
And yet the husband still tried to complain about him. EVEN after the cop didn't say or do anything about the wife using a racial slur. I mean , I'd say he extended the guy a professional courtesy right there. It's especially impressive when you consider how many times we have seen cops arrest and beat people for a lot less, huh?

He does not have the requirements nor the training of a law enforcement officer. He is a member of the sheriffs department but he is NOT law enforcement officers the same way sheriff dispatchers are members of the department but are not law enforcement. Hope that helps.

Asking for professional courtesy is asking a cop to corrupt themselves. Disgraceful. The idea that professional courtesy is a thing that can be asked for is disgraceful. When I get caught speeding I put my hands up and say fair cop, I did it, I pay the ticket.
I think people could benefit from showing the same kind of accountability that you do. But I just wanna throw in there that professional courtesy doesn't entitle police officers to any increased discretion. Professional courtesy can't get a cop out of anything that the officer doesn't have discretion over with anyone.
As someone who used to work in law enforcement before becoming a private investigator trust me, the thing definitely exist everywhere even now if I show a cop, my PI card nine out of 10 times I’m getting out of the ticket and they don’t even run my license or anything to check for warrants.
Back when I was a police officer, I got pulled over for speeding and the officer noticed my uniform was laid out in my passenger seat didn’t even ask me any other questions. He just kind of laughed about it and let me go.
Was pulled over many a time in my youth, especially when I rode a motorcycle. Never lied to the officer. While I was still given tickets, some of them did reduce the charges. Like going 65 in a 55. Office asked if I know how fast I was going. I said 65. He only cited me for doing 60.

At my last home, in the California mountains, we had someone with blue and red lights pulling over single women at nightime. Yep, dark, secluded mountain roads. He didn't get the chance to harm anyone, to my knowledge. One woman knew there was something wrong with him and fled. Another woman pulled into the only lit business within 2 miles and the creeper drove off.
I remember that case, me and my fake Cal DOJ Intelligence team ran a tactical OSINT dragnet to locate him.

And after a short search in the handy dandy VA database, I can assure you that he was Special Forces and a Ranger with service in Iraq, multiple places in South America, Afghanistan and a few other ‘stans. A simple FOIA request to the archives can get you all of that information and more. Might take 6 months to get it back though 😂

I'm 66 years old and although I've seen a lot of people do a lot of stupid things during my time here the way the world is today is like watching an episode of the old TV series 'The Twilight Zone". It happens often. I'm a G armed security officer & Army veteran- 4yr MP. I've worked in Florida: FDACS.gov since 2000. I've seen fake cops, bounty hunters, PIs 🕵🏽♂️ , repo agents/tow services, VIP-EP bodyguards, "under cover" narcotics-gang cops. Stolen Valor is a annoying pain. 2020s era patrol 🚓 & sheriffs are often risk adverse or want to weasel out of arrests, trespass.
The odds are that theyll get caught eventually. The more times theyll do it, the higher the chance of getting caught! People can be strange no matter the country theyre in!

I am not anti-cop. I am not pro cop. And I sure as hell am not neutral about cops. There are cops who do their jobs professionally, and dispassionately. They don't personalize their interactions with those they encounter. We all know there are no shortages of cops going about performing their duties in exactly the opposite manner. When it comes to 'good cops' verses 'bad cops', I do not claim to know the percentages when breaking down the two groupings. All I know is both exist. Because I accept this reality I certainly do not want to play an active role in transforming a cop from good to bad, and it deeply bothers me when I see others either intentionally or not behaving in ways likely to make such a transformation probable.
The entitled cow in the first video engaged in exactly that. Her 'almost a cop' hubby is equally, if not more, guilty. The cop this Karen abused was simply going about doing his job. He was not rude, aggressive or personal. He believed he witnessed an offense or infraction, and addressed it. How he handled the encounter was exemplary. However, given we are all influenced by how we are treated, I cannot help but wonder how many abusive, entitled Karens and Kevins might it take to effect how he goes about doing his job. We should all know the existence of even one 'bad' cop is unacceptable, and that undoubtedly the number of 'bad' cops presently patrolling our streets and neighborhoods is much, much greater than one. So why in hell do anything that is likely to add one more bad cop into the mix? Makes no sense. Seems to me this therapist needs a therapist, as well as some harsh consequences for her actions and attitudes. As for her hubby, well, I hope he enjoys his new career as a security guard or asking customers if they would like fries with their order. He's not really qualified for much more than those two positions.

I'm not sure if I understand why the last guy was arrested. Pretending to be a cop isn't illegal, performing official actions while pretending to be a cop is. Even bragging to tge kids about being one isn't illegal
New Mexico state statutes on impersonating a police officer included merely “pretending to be a peace officer with the intent to deceive another person.” Doing it to get a date might not rise to the same level as performing a traffic stop etc. but it still counts per the law.
The charges will likely be dropped.

Telling someone who impersonated an officer, resisted arrest and is sitting in the back of a cop car in handcuffs that your department is hiring is not only ridiculous, it's dangerous.
Around 2018, 2019 I saw a PD recruiter Orlando.gov police 🚔 "cold pitch" a young bus boy at buffet place. 😏 The guy showed no interest or asked about the city benefits, jobs.
