Can’t wait honestly, I’ve missed the sprite styles.
The game is dripping with style, from the character portraits to the battle sprites. I'm really interested to see more of the gameplay from this project. I love the idea that the classes will have a much greater impact on how characters will play and it not just being "the same character, but he/she looks different." I can't wait for more information and I will totally be getting it at launch!
Well saw it at Lucky Crit´s. But I sure wanted to comment here, The game looks awesomely promising guys, keep up the great work. Definitely gonna buy it at launch, or even presale if thats available. Well, cant say more but Im reeeally hyped aboy this now.

This looks really interesting, and something I could see myself checking out when it releases. I’m a big fan of the character designs, music and overall look of the game so far. I do agree with the comments saying the level-up screen is a bit underwhelming though.

I think the level up screen could work better if you also put arrows or something next to the stats that go up, i didn't realise it was a level up screen until the second time i watched the video so making it easier to see would be nice. I also have a question, will the characters change facial expression or do they only have the one? Thank you! This game looks very promising and i will most likely get it, i hope that it will be able to release on switch though cuz that would 100% guarantee my purchase.
The devs changed the level up screen and they've confirmed that the characters do change facial expressions!

Promising looking project. Still obviously needs a bit of UI polish like with word wrap, unit movement/attack range, and level up screen. Still, things look pretty solid already, can't wait to see the final release.

Sprites & art look lovely and the overall aesthetic/backdrops gives me hard Tellius vibes! Wonderful work to everyone involved in the creation process. May I ask if there's any plans for a Kickstarter to possibly fund console release as well?
Hey, thanks! The game was inspired by the Tellius games, which is our favorite Fire Emblem series. We hope to get the kickstarter up and running within a week, but it may take two. We hope to eventually move to Playstation, Xbox, and Switch. Stay tuned on our Twitter for updates regarding that!

Dark Deity YT Awesome, thanks for the response! I know classic FE is mostly unvoiced but as a VA I also can’t resist asking, is implementing voices something you’re considering? Something like Wargroove/Awakening/Fates style bytes?
@@MolloZhang Its going to depend a lot on how the kickstarter goes and where we find ourselves in the near future. Right now, its not in the cards.

Bit of feedback. Your UI on level up is difficult for colourblind people to easily see which stat has gone up (protonopia and deutoronopia). Change the ring colour to bright blue or orange! Or add a +1 marker next to the stat.
Numbers during the battle screen would also help in a simialar regard ( people with tritanopia wont be able to see the friendly health bar blue colour).
Again though. Looks awesome! Cant wait to play it

Came over from Lucky Crit's video. Left this same comment there, but thought I should do it on both.
I like the ascetic and animations look super smooth. I am still baffled that this is a 2 man made game which is just mind blowing for how well the quality is.
Now hearing that there are limited support or bond points does concern me a bit. Not that I think it's a bad system, but as a story lover, it does limit how much story you can get from them in a single run (If there is no story like what support conversations have then this is a pointless worry). I think back to the GBA games and how you had a limited support conversation list, which for gameplay reasons is fine, but say I want to know more about character X, I can only so much in 1 run with them and the other characters might get left out as well. If there could be a story only feature (say like beat the game once and you unlock story mode), personally I think that would be nice.
The only other hope I have is that, due to the large number of skill, weapon, and class combinations, a place to test them would be nice. Like if there was a separate mode for players to test combinations and against dumby enemies. but that's one that I think is more quality of life rather than anything else.
Overall, the game looks amazing and I cant wait to give it a shot when it comes out.

I join what an other person said: the sound effects of attacks could use more "impact". I really don't like games where the hits aren't satisfying, that's what I love about Fire Emblem gba sprites animations.
They look cool and impactful, even more on crits!
(This is for this reason for exemple that I don't like Three Houses that much as the gba games)
This looks like a promising game and the artstyle is pretty cute. I'm pretty invested already. I'm going to get my first laptop in early 2021 so this might be the first game I'll buy, that or risk of rain 2. But people continue what you are doing, because from what I've heard this is like a two man project and from an aspiring programmer I think that's pretty awesome.

This looks amazing, hud and other menu systems could do a little more polish so that it looks clean and organized. Overall I'm thinking if characters will have a sub class that allows more combinations in play styles, enemies that can also be equally as tactical and balanced, and if it will be replay able for new play throughs. This project looks amazing and I hope I can learn to do something as great as this.

Here from Lucky Crit I’ll ask the same question I did there so, If a favorite unit of mine gets injured once and the stat nerf is big enough to make him unusable like minus 3 attack to a 10 attack unit or for any of my weaker units I neglected to train will there be a way to quickly train up those units to make them relevant again?
This is something that we're going to be tinkering with until pretty close to launch, I think. We're leaning towards having a mechanic for this, but how it is going to work is up in the air for the moment. We'll likely tie the extent to which they can catch up quickly to difficulty.

So far PC is the only platform confirmed but they're working on getting it on other platforms. Switch is highly likely to get a port.

It’s amazing for a team of two. If there was one criticism, it’d probably be the sprites and/or background. It just doesn’t fit very well, it looks out of place; the maps look out of place as well, probably a background redesign. I’m not trying to be a mean spirited person, it’s just the game looks is rpg maker like. I also don’t know about $15, I personally don’t have a problem with that, but trying to sell it to people will be hard because there’s a lot of games on steam that have multiple people working on them and a more professional staff having their prices at lower prices. Again just friendly advice, want you guys to succeed.

The first fe game (your inspiration material) had 52 chars randomly sprinkled in randomly to ensure that even with permadeath it could be beaten without reseting

Why TF you give ultimate advantage to foes instead of main protagonists? Original Fire Emblem allows player to erase the whole level with only two Horsemen, if you use right weapon. In this game every regular foe requires 2-3 our troops to be slain even if you use right class unit against him. And they always have three times more units than you. Your attack\defence advantage system is just not rewarding.
